Ms. Hera continued to tell me about the remaining story of the book. To sum it all;
They formed an alliance called Paladins to fight against the Dark Ruler. This alliance grew into an army that fought against the mist demons.
The mist demons can't be killed using physical strength, but they can be destroyed using explosives or magic. Once the mist demon was destroyed the soul it devours can go back to the body which leads to the revival of some of the body.
They won some of their fights but in the end, the force of the Dark Ruler trampled them. Killing most of the soldiers in the alliance. The Paladins lost their morale causing most of the remaining soldiers to leave.
Just when they lost the little hope they have, they got the knowledge about a miracle staff that can be summoned after defeating a dungeon boss in the tallest tower in their continent.
They challenged the dungeon, and with some serious death match, they obtained the staff called Enchanter's Phantasm.
The plan was to use the staff and a spell that can distort time and space to travel back in time. But due to this being the first time someone used the spell, instead of going back they ended up in the future where humanity perished.
But that mistake wasn't a mistake for the fairy king in the future told them about the existence of a parallel world.
After hearing about this my skin grew goosebumps.
Using that new information they challenged the tower which results in succeeding with only six of the paladins remaining. This time using the same spell they opened a Gate breaking the barrier that separates the two worlds.
The Dark Ruler in the future followed suit.
That is the story of how we, the humans in this world who have nothing to do with all of their issues, experienced a nightmare that will never be erased in history.
"So in other words, you found a way to save your world by dragging our world to your problems."
"Yes."
"How can you say 'yes' with a straight face?"
Ms. Hera clasped her hand and put it at the left side of her cheeks. Putting on a cute expression.
"Anzai, sorry. We didn't mean what we did... So? Feel any better?"
I see. They know that even how much they're going to apologize. There's no way that they'll be forgiven by the people in this world.
"If your missions are already complete, why are you still here."
Actually, I have an idea why but I wanted to confirm it.
"Because the—"
"Because the mist demons, the undead, and his generals weren't been totally annihilated. We stay here to make sure that they won't spread darkness again in this world. And if they did we're here to stop them. At least in that way, we can make it up for what we did."
Instead of Ms. Hera, Finn was the one who answered me.
"How about the Dark Ruler, what happened to him?"
I don't want to underestimate his generals, undead, or the mist demons. But the existence of the Dark Ruler was the biggest threat of all. If his leadership was that great, he might be planning on attacking humanity once again.
"He's gone," Finn said.
"I see. By the way, what is Siege doing here? I mean there's totally no need for him to be here."
"What did you say?!"
Siege who was just watching TV, stood up.
"He probably can't stay away from his big sister's side." Ms. Hera said.
I shake my head side to side.
"I guess your still a child after all."
Siege jumped out of the couch and attacked me.
I positioned myself preparing to run towards Finn's back.
"AAAAAHHH!"
We were in that situation when a loud scream, reverberated in the apartment.
It's coming from my room.
We quickly get to the room. To check what's going on.
Luna entered my room earlier. What in the world can make someone like her scream like that.
We peaked at the door but Finn busted into the room.
"Luna! What's wrong?"
Luna stood intensely in front of my computer. She raised her hand in front of her and the golden dust surrounded my computer.
"It... It's an undead... No, maybe the Undead King. You! Why did you have a picture of him here! It can be cursed!"
"No, it's not! It's just wallpaper." I yelled at her.
The wallpaper of my computer of a skeleton. Was the one she's talking about.
"Whatever it is I can't approve that something like that was in the same house as mine!" She yells back at me.
This is my house you know.
I rushed towards the desk and hold on to the mouse.
"Okay! Okay! I'll change it just don't destroy my computer."
While I was changing the wall of my desktop. Finn and the other two already left without saying a single word.
Those jerks. I bet they'll be happy if Luna did destroy my computer.
While Luna watched me as used it. I was planning on making her more amazed at me by typing fast while looking smug at her.
But after I finished changing the wallpaper she changed with me. She clicked into a web browser typed the word 'moon' and go to the images.
"Luna since when did you arrive at this world?"
She raised her eyebrow.
"Hm? More than a week I guess, why?"
A week huh? Based on the writing on the books they showed me earlier, their writing is different from ours. To be able to write alphabet words without a flaw in spelling is just amazing.
It's not like I assume that she's a total idiot... maybe a little. But this shows me that maybe this girl was much more capable than I thought.
"That's better." She said with a smile on her face.
It's a photo of a perfect circle moon. I prefer the crescent shape moon though.
"Hey, this is a game right?" She turn to look at me and ask that.
I nodded in response.
"Teach me how to play it." Upturned eyes and a pleading expression. Normally a person would give in to it.
But I value this game more than others.
"No way! Even if you give me a puppy wide eyes, I... won't..."
"Huh? Did you say something?" She said with a devilish smile.
All of the sudden those fairy dust was all over my face.
I've got no choice but to teach her the hotkeys.
I can't believe that this girl can actually threaten me. The man who left a huge bad impression on the whole region.
Well, I guess the fact that she doesn't give a second thought of blasting me earlier means she can actually do that.
I shouldn't take any chances.
She's supposed to be a fairy right? How come she can make me have cold feet.
After she gets the hang of it, I dive into my bed and rest my body there.
All that information exhausts me.
Though there are still some lingering questions in my head. I'm satisfied to know all about those mysteries that happened seven years ago. At least I can't say anymore that I'm ignorant about them.
I actually want to sleep but...
"Luna, can you tell me more about the other world on the other side of the gate."
But the girl didn't even look away from the monitor.
I just sighed and closed my eyes.
But I can't fall asleep. It's probably because o the hype. Men, being just told a new knowledge that even the president of the USA still doesn't know.
I can actually make a profit on it.
"Pssst. Pssst."
While my eyes are closed, something's poking me at my feet.
Let's just pretend that I'm asleep. I don't want to deal with her anymore.
She finally stopped poking me. But what I expected was far from what she did next.
She crawled into my bed, to my body until she reached my head.
What the...
What is going on? This is just so close. Her smells tickle my nostrils just like her hair touches my skin.
This is bad. I don't think I'm ready for this.
Luna combs my hair with her hands upwards. Her grip gradually tightens as she whispered.
"I see."
