Morning comes, after finding out that Luna comes to this world Finn together with Siege, Hera, and Luna was on their way to the forest where the Gate is.
Luna spent the night playing the game on Anzai's computer. Though she was a bit embarrassed after Anzai suddenly pumped up his body that he almost blast him into pieces. She still told Anzai what he wanted to know about the other side of the gate; magic, technology, and races. She wanted to ask him to but Anzai fall asleep so she just continued on playing the game.
While she plays she's astounded by how the game works on the computer. How this world advantage so much without magic. The magic in their world was more advance than how Anzai perceived it but this world's technology was on another level.
The fact that they created a completely different world in that computer really surprises her.
"I'm still sleepy." She mumbled while walking on the path leading there. Sometimes she tripped over the roots of the trees.
They're scouting the area to make sure no enemies or any normal citizens in the area. But because of sleepiness Finn was the only one doing the job. Finn flew under the trees over the brunches while shifting his trajectory.
After checking the area he got back to the path where Luna is. He landed on top of a branch. She heard her sisters complain.
"What do you expect. You didn't even get to sleep." Finn said.
"It's Anzai's fault for letting me play that game," she answered.
"I'm surprised that he even let you play that game. More importantly from now on, you have to take this seriously if you want to go back to our world." Finn's wing disappeared then he jumped off the tree just behind Luna.
According to Finn, they took the responsibility of protecting this world against the remaining forces of the Dark Ruler.
This world doesn't have any Mana, that is until the gate continuously emits Mana from our world to this world. That's the reason they can use magic here, though unlike in their world replenishing Mana here was slow. If the Mana in their body runs out, the body might suffer from Mana deficiency. In their world, this only happens if a mage casts a spell on an agimat or rare anting-anting that can drain the Mana of a body.
The Mana don't spread wide in this world only on the nearby places. In this case Samar, Leyte, Cebu, and other islands near this region.
The Mist Demons get their forms from the ever-lasting Purgatory Mist of the Dark Ruler. Because he's gone now that must have caused most of the Mist Demons to disappear in this world.
At least that's what they concluded. But according to Luna, the Mist Demons in their world didn't disappear so there's a possibility that they also get their strength from Mana.
It means the Mist Demons will survive if they were near this area. That has a small amount of Mana in the air.
After hearing it Luna's face gloom.
They walked on the part of the forest where the path is covered with the branches of the trees from both sides. Luna suddenly stopped.
"Finn, why don't we just kill him?" I suddenly said.
Upon hearing it Finn stopped his tracks but doesn't look back at her.
"If we kill him then his Generals won't have any reason to stay here. They may surrender to us if they didn't have any reason to fight."
Perhaps Luna's thinking that this may be the best if they want to avoid purging the two worlds to darkness again.
"Kill who?"
Finn shoved off the question. Of course, Luna didn't make it slip. She scowled at Finn and run past him. She spread his arm to try to stop her brother.
"It's him right? That guy is."
Finn walked to the side where Luna's hand don't reach.
Luna grabbed his hand. She gripped it with a little strength enough to send how serious she was in what she said.
"Is that the reason why you came here?"
"That's right!"
Luna answered him quickly.
"Does that mean your our enemy?"
Finn glared at him. Luna had been surprised after hearing it.
Even though his brother keeps on being mean and always bullies her. It didn't go to this extent.
"Wha- What are you going on about? Are you going to hurt me just for that guy?"
Finn smiled.
"Like I needed to do that. I can toss you back into the other side of the gate right now if I decided to do so."
Luna pouted.
"I'm already strong you know!" she yelled.
Finn took back his hand from her hand. He waved it as his back turned to Luna.
"You know it, Finn, that if you continued protecting him you're just going to keep on repeating what happened in the past."
Finn just didn't answer.
"As long as he's alive that process will keep on repeating itself. You can't defeat him before without giving millions of lives. How can you beat that now? Now that our father is gone?"
Finn kept himself quiet which made her angrier.
"Why won't you say something?"
Finn gives her a glance.
"I wanted to think of something to say that can make you happy and convince you to believe with us. It's quite hard so I'll be honest, I don't have another reason but to do what I think is right. He shouldn't be involved in this war but we made him to. Because of us, we give him a life that he didn't deserve. Maybe I'm just doing this to make myself good, but I don't think there's something wrong with that."
Finn goes back to his way. But Luna remained in his feet.
"No there's something wrong," she said while looking at Finn's back with protruded eyes. "How can you say it's for the right thing? If you still didn't tell him anything."
Finn stopped as he hear that from Luna.
"Do you think if he found out he'll just go along with it? She continued.
"Luna." soon as she finishes Finn says his name. Please let us reveal it when the right time comes."
Luna clenched her hand.
"He's the reason why our Father died."
"No one was too blame for it. As members of the Eight rays, we pledged our hearths to the fairies' dream. Unfortunately, he decided that it's no exception to him."
"You are the same with mother," Luna mumbled.
Finn sighed and goes back to pat her sister.
"Don't worry, I'll never leave you. I promise you that."
Luna just bowed her head down.
Finn gets back to walking.
"Also now that you're here taking her back might be possible."
As soon as what he said had been processed through her brain she raised her head and looked at Finn with wide shining eyes.
"Her?"
Finn nod. He smiled and smiled at her.
"Maurelle."
Luna's eyes shined even more along with her bright smile. She runs towards Finn.
"Really?!"
"The least I... or we can do is try."
