Zaiden didn't react to Garry's words, the boy was unaware of the prophecy. Now that the boss had filled him in with the important information, Zaiden wanted some spare time to figure out the things first. Gravis waited for his brother to end his speech, while devoured the wild fruits.
"We will definitely help you to achieve your goal, but before that we must send you back to vampire realm central."
Garry snapped his fingers and a small marble appeared in the air, which burst right after a few brief seconds. The mana bubbles were used to transfer information, it travelled the same way as of human voice. The thoughts were accumulated in the mana marble which later on burst to spread the signals in the air.
It took Garry only only a few moments to receive the reply which relieved him. The teleportation beam had some problems and couldn't be used at that moment. Gravis on the other hand wanted to see whatever Zaiden could so. Ever since the prophecy was made the vampires had been keeping an eye on every new born.
They couldn't afford to let any child slide away from the blood group identification tests. Zaiden on the other hand could sense that something was wrong with both of the brothers. However they had the excuse of the explosion, which he didn't know was even true or a made- up thing.
Zaiden didn't want to neglect the fact that those vampires might have experimented with mana. And ended up in that rotten state which cost them their powers and identity. Nonetheless Garry found a reason to expand his stay in Hexaphere, the excuse was solid and Zaiden had no other option but to abide.
"But don't you worry, you can stay here and experience this new atmosphere of Hexaphere. Until the teleportation beam works you can consult the masters here regarding your element."
Garry proposed the temptation to him assuming that Zaiden would sure pay heed to it. He was well aware of the fact that there was no O negative professor around, hence Zaiden' only option was to rely on the mana. Zaiden nodded and was led towards the room where he could rest. The possible deadline of the repair was three days, considering it he was eager to learn new things.
"We don't have any system of intercom here unlike the vampire realm. Try to absorb mana and wield it to convey the thoughts. That's how we talk here instead of using stupid wires and phones. The vampire realm is still in medieval ages, and would have already been crushed by other worlds, if not for us."
Gravis explained to him while Zaiden inspected the room, which resembled to the dorm of his in the vampire realm. His last words pricked his attention making Zaiden question about the matter.
"What do you mean by the last claim? Do you people trade with the outer world in exchange of things?"
Zaiden speculated that a few items like the furniture were imported from the surrounding realms. Gravis was amused by his observant nature, although he suspected that Zaiden might try to exploit the situation. He wanted to see how far the boy could go, and how much he had powered up.
"Clever! I like it. Yes, we trade small gadgets to import stuff from other realms and kingdoms. People are willing to pay huge prices and exchange stuff to obtain mana."
Zaiden' hunch was correct, the gadgets that female intruder had was obtained from Hexaphere. The technology didn't work on him since he was a noble blood and being a dhampir was his biggest advantage. However Zaiden' focus was not the trades and items exported, though it still left an unanswered question. What kind of mana gadgets were exported? And possibly in what ways they have empowered the receiving nations?
"Where are the masters who can guide me?"
His tone imminently shifted to obedient one, the pretense coming from Zaiden was such cunning move. The boy knew how to exploit the situation to his benefit. Gravis smiled at him with the satisfied expression.
'I will arrange your meeting with the seer of this place. She is the oldest one and the native of Hexaphere, we were just lucky to convince her to let her stay.'
Zaiden understood that they were deliberately feeding him the temptations. He had already figured out that both the brothers had power at their hands. After all staying in the whirlpool of mana was no less than 'once in a blue moon' chance. But then why were the brothers infested with hatred? The explosion couldn't be the sole trigger of their hatred.
The boy smiled with a nod, as Gravis bid his farewell till the lunch time.
