It was evident that the people of Hexaphere would have never let Zaiden leave. Similarly the ruler of northern kingdom, Noah, didn't want Zaiden to hide from him. However for some reason his presence went unnoticed for Noah. All they had to do is extract Zaiden's blood alive from his vessel, the frail body. Nonetheless Michal had his doubts but he had already made a deal with Zaiden. Despite the fact that he wanted to use him for his powers, Michal was willing to teach him the arts.
He let go of Zaiden after questioning since everything was fruitless. Zaiden walked back to his room where met Ellen, who was unaware of his disappearance. Zaiden was gone for half a day and other than Anna and Michal, nobody noticed his absence. Ellen greeted him the same way and sat besides him on the bed, Zaiden could see the eagerness in her eyes.
"Do you have anything to say?"
He inquired nonchalantly while taking off his boots. Ellen on the other hand flung her arm out towards him.
"Here, hold my hands I have something to show you."
Zaiden was taken aback by her bold and friendly manner, she clearly witnessed his strength that day. But Ellen wasn't hesitant or reluctant to talk to him, he cast a look at her hands. He didn't believe in anyone now, one thing was certain no one in the realm was his well- wisher.
'She shouldn't be able to get past my mental barrier, right? If Aaron couldn't then there's no way Ellen is stronger than him. It should be fine, if not then Curtis must be around since he has finally gained full form.'
His main worry was the presence of demon, if Ellen wanted to show him something by getting inside his head. Zaiden took a few moments to process the things, then folded his legs and stretched his hands out to her.
'I hope she isn't playing me like others. Damn it hurts to be exposed to constant dangers. I have to wrap up this mission sooner, destroying the realm, huh? But how?'
Zaiden faked a smile at her and held hands with Ellen. He experienced a tremor in his body which made Zaiden reflexively frown with pain. On the other hand Ellen wasn't aware that the linking between them would be painful for Zaiden. The difference between their elements caused it, but the main reason which induced the sensation was his dark aura.
His chaos element and the blood group hindered the linking. Zaiden inhaled sharply to calm himself when the notification popped up in his head.
[Linking mental sphere to entity Ellen: In process]
[Mental sphere crack: 15%]
'No, no. I have to focus to help her link sooner, so she won't go deep into my brain. I can't let her explore the 'rooms' of my subconsciousness. Although I know I'm still in the learning phase but she shouldn't be stronger to seep through my barrier.'
Ellen successfully linked her mind to his, and a bright light appeared in his mind. The image in Zaiden's head displayed a picture of a war, vampires in their fuller form with wings. A lot of dead bodies and bloodshed, people undergoing a lot of mutations and a huge building crumbling to crisps.
Zaiden frowned upon the image and tried to put the pieces into right place. He presumed the scene either be from the time nobles disappeared, or when the vampires attacked the minors under the ground. Ellen on the other hand panted and napped open her eyes while pulling hands back. Zaiden followed her actions, she seemed afraid of the reel which played in their heads.
"What was that? And how did you even manage to play it?"
His curiosity grew waiting for her answer, Ellen recovered sooner from the traumatic experience. She came straight through the extra class conducted by her personal trainer. Since Zaiden was given under the wing of master Michal, Ellen was the disciple of some other high ranked professor.
"My professor told me to practice the manipulation. You see I read these history pages earlier and attempted to play it in my mind. But I wanted to do it with you because they were scary historical pieces."
Zaiden imminently recalled that master Michal had offered him the very same technique. Now that Zaiden experienced what the particular spell could do, he wanted to master it badly. He wanted to know something more about the image, Zaiden suspected he spotted something important.
But missed the details due to Ellen' sudden pulling back her hands, which disrupted the linking. However Ellen reluctantly obliged to do it after hearing his unusual 'please.' The connection established again and this time Zaiden went through every other detail which he missed earlier. It was the same image which focused on numerous faces, demons, species and claws.
Soon he reached the scene which previously pricked his attention. Behind some brawly guy Zaiden spotted a woman who growled, while having the chain wrapped in her one hand.
'Mom!?'
