Master Michal returned from his tour around the city, and spotted Zaiden outside his office. He didn't expect the kid to change his attitude so fast, however the reason behind his sudden switch was evident. Michal could totally grasp his unusual hunger for power, which partially made him concerned. Although he assumed that Zaiden shouldn't be a threat for vampires, since their vulnerability was a hidden fact. And the fact was never disclosed to younger generation, which infested the youth with arrogance.
"Why are you here?"
Michal knew the possible reply but wanted Zaiden to submit to the reality, that he wouldn't get anywhere without his help. He stood in front of the door which vanished, but now Zaiden knew from where that technology came from. Gravis revealed him about the import export matter, but that left numerous questions. If the rest kingdoms, above the ground were on the verge of crumbling then possibly what would the people of Hexaphere need from them?
"To learn reality manipulation technique, of course....master."
The master smiled upon his flattering attitude, he let Zaiden inside his cabin to explain him things. Michal threw his coat on the stand nearby and settled himself in the chair. Zaiden awaited his stance upon teaching him the technique, while Michal was determined in strengthening his roots first. Unknown to him what kind of traumatic and disastrous changes Zaiden had been undergoing.
"Listen kid, the first thing you got to fix are your emotions."
Zaiden was astonished upon hearing the insulting words, nobody ever questioned his authority let alone spewing insults. He was shaken once again by the different treatment he had gotten in the past few months. Every kingdom's vision was different about him, but there was an evident chance of all kingdoms being allies on one matter.
Master Michal keenly observed the facial changes on his face, Zaiden' crimson eyes began to glow as the old man provoked him furthermore. He had many theories about that black demonic aura and concentrated smoke which frequently emerged from his body. But every theory linked back to the prophecy, hence master Michal didn't want Zaiden to succumb to the darkness.
"The perfect execution of a spell follows a command over emotional and mental restraints and aspects. Since the elements, well most of them are triggered by inner emotions which determine the strength and efficiency of the spell. Similarly the mental sphere works to deploy your physical energy by focusing on the mana flow."
Zaiden heard the whole lecture and the realization hit him why his mental sphere crack had been increasing slowly. Michal noticed the faint flicker in his eyes, while hoping Zaiden paid heed to his suggestion.
'So, this is why the crack increased to 16% but if my emotions can ignite fire element, they are also affecting my mental sphere. Does it mean I'm putting more than necessary pressure on my mind? Or perhaps the spells the demon told me couldn't hold up with my weaker state and damaged me.'
Michal stood up from his chair and approached Zaiden with the task, something which could possibly fix his attitude along with a stroll. Zaiden cast a serious look at him while behaving despite his neutral concerns towards him.
"You have to practice your emotions frequently, stay calm and clear to avoid triggering your chosen fire element. Because it can get destructive and might ignite everything around you, turning every possible biotic and abiotic to ashes."
Zaiden wanted to object his stern statement but due to the recent incident, he couldn't deny that his instability was becoming dangerous. The people around him weren't safe since the beginning but his outbursts of energy were becoming an evident mess.
"That's why I have a quest for you. As you see I have just returned from the work and have no energy to go out and receive my parcel."
Michal acknowledged one certain fact that Zaiden' current intolerant state of personality won't be able to keep up with the commoners. Thus, the quest of going outside would sure affect him emotionally. However he didn't decide it lightly enough for Zaiden to potentially ruin everything outside.
The cunning professor tempted him with the proven hypothesis earlier, and knew Zaiden would abide by the rules in order to attain greater skills.
"That's why I want you to do this task for me. Get ready to take a stroll of the city, I will send you the shop's address."
As much as Zaiden' hated mingling with the vampires, which justified him being alone in his class. He was eager to explore the kingdom by watching its veins closely. To destroy the enemy you gotta know him better!
