Grr… Grr…
Just then, her stomach rumbled in hunger and she held her stomach. She wasn't sure if the school provided food supplies. Speaking of which, her room mate should have some thing, right? With that she walked out of the room and found Fan Liuying standing in a corner of the room, her hands on her hips.
"Liuying, perhaps do you have an idea where I can get something to eat? Or, is there anything in the country? Maybe I could whip something up?" Mo Xin Er asked, her hand still holding the door knob.
Fan Liuying glanced at her. "Oh, you're hungry. I just arrived a week ago so I haven't gone shopping. Maybe, we could go eat out. I know a good sushi place"
"Okay. Can we go now? My stomach is protesting"
"Could you wait a minute? I want to invite my boyfriend," Fan Liuying suddenly asked, her eyes wary.
"Alright."
She stood with her hands in her pockets as the other girl clicked a few digits on her phone and she could hear her talking to someone on the phone.
Fan Liuying soon returned grabbing her jacket from the sofa. "Okay, let's go. You don't mind right, my boyfriend and his friend are joining us"
Mind? She didn't. Who cares about another pair of strangers when her mission was to feed the worms in her stomach?
She followed behind her with her hood up again and they took her car. It was a black Porsche. They soon pulled into the driveway of a restaurant and she beamed. She sprang out of the car, the lights surrounding the restaurant shimmering around her.
Fan Liuying soon joined her and they walked into the restaurant. From the setting, she could deduce that it was first class styled. The moment the pair walked in, all her eyes turned towards them but Mo Xin Er didn't seem to be aware as she made her way directly to a seat. The two were a pair of beauties. Fan Liuying had makeup on; plus she was naturally beautiful. However Mo Xin Er caught more attention because her face was covered and only the outline of her fair face was visible. Moreover from her figure and slender hands, one could see she that was incredibly attractive.
She beckoned to one of the waitress and they took their orders. Soon, their table was filled to the brim with Chinese and Western cuisine. She immediately dig in, not noticing the two people who just arrived and took their seats across them.
"You're here," Fan Liuying beamed as she looked at the two men. Her boyfriend, Su Jing also smiled while his friend just nodded politely. The girl didn't seem to mind though. He was probably the type who wouldn't talk to people. Su Jing glanced beside her for a moment before turning towards her again, his eyes slitted with questions.
"Meet my room mate, Mo Xin Er. She just resumed today." Mo Xin Er heard her name being spoken and she finally stirred wondering why. She looked up and almost raised an eyebrow seeing the two men sitting across them. Her eyes darted towards the enjoined hands of her room mate and one of the men before finally recalling that her boyfriend and his friend would be joining their eat out.
One was staring at her; his hand held by his woman and the other sat with his head down browsing through his phone; he seemed to be in his own world. She guessed, the former was her room mate's boyfriend and the other was his friend.
Mo Xin Er outstretched her hand casually towards Su Jing who received the handshake. "Hi. I'm Mo Xin Er."
He smiled politely and said, "Su Jing. I'm Liuying's boyfriend. Nice to meet you."
"Oh. Nice to meet you too." But beneath her tongue, the words 'I wouldn't say the same. You're disturbing my peace' was stuck.
She smiled lightly. And began eating.
Su Jing looked at her dumbfounded. Okay, where was the usual pleasantries? She seemed like she would slaughter him if he said anything while she was eating.
He looked towards Fan Liuying again and they both glanced at the other two simultaneously, their thoughts perfectly the same
'What a pair of weirdos. They'll make a good couple.'
Truth be told, they both didn't realize how perfect their thoughts were. However, let's leave that for the future.
The dinner went that way, with a foodie concentrated on her food, a couple distributing dog food in the middle of a restaurant and a young man silently eating his meal, his eyes thoroughly fixed on the food.
"It's getting late now. We should go," Su Jing finally said turning towards his friend and the other nodded. He got up immediately, his face blank as he walked out of the restaurant. His friend sighed apologetically, probably used to his unpredictable behavior.
Mo Xin Er and Fan Liuying also got up and the three walked out of the restaurant, his hands on Fan Liuying's waist as they whispered sweet nothings to each other. Mo Xin Er glanced at the two, increasing her pace and walked towards the car. She leaned on one of the doors and rubbed her stomach. She looked quite adorable and Lu Yichen who stood about 20 meters away from her, would find this scene deeply etched in his memory.
Fan Liuying soon skipped towards her, beaming. She giggled waving towards Su Jing as she got in the car. Mo Xin Er couldn't help but whistle as she got into the car. Soon, they were on their way to their hostel.
"I hope you enjoyed the meal," Fan Liuying finally said as she drove.
"I did. Their cuisines are top notch. What's the name, by the way? I'd like to other takeout from them someday," Mo Xin Er replied as she scrolled through her We Chat.
Fan Liuying gasped, finally finding her utterly weird. Who doesn't remember the name of the place they ate? She found her totally absurd.
But Mo Xin Er's thoughts were different. She was too lazy and hungry to care about the name engraved in a squared block placed at the top of the restaurant.
