Mo Xin Er stood in front of her red Audi R8, her right leg pressed on one of its doors. She seemed to be waiting for someone as she whistled lightly, her phone hanging loosely in between one of her fingers. One would see that this person was different from what she looked like about a year before.
She was putting on a pair of black sweatpants and hoodie. Her fingers impatiently tapping on the car roof. It had been a year since Mo Xin Er joined the Mo family and she was fairly accomplished. She was currently a trainer in a training academy however she quitted her job a day before since she was going to college.
Soon enough as if her prayers were being answered, a grinning Mo Yuan walked out of his apartment dragging his suitcase along. His phone was held up across his face and he seemed to be having a video call.
He grumbled, "Okay mom, I know. Don't go to night clubs. Check. Take care of your sister. Check. Can I live in peace now?"
"You brat. I'm going to whip your ass." Mo Xin Er could vaguely hear her mom bellowing on the other side.
"What am I? A teenager? Fine mommy bear, talk to your darling daughter," he taunted throwing the phone towards Mo Xin Er which she grabbed, glaring at him
She said with a smile, "Mom." She could see the living room in the background. Her mom seemed to be sitting on one of the sofas.
"My darling, is your luggage complete? Did you get everything ready? I checked with the school and saw your hostel. Is it okay with you or should we get a condominium? Whatever you want, tell Mommy. I'll get it for you, ok?"
"Everything is fine, mom. I got it all covered. By the way, I quit my job yesterday. Annie will deliver my stuff to you, could you keep them for me?" Mo Xin Er smiled lightly.
"No problem, darling. I'll take care of it"
"Alright, mom."
Mrs Mo seemed to remember something and she called out, "Okay. By the way, if that brat does something, you can always beat him up. Mommy will just have to send him to the hospital."
"Okay, mom. If he goes whoring around, I'll break his legs. We only have to get him a wheelchair," Mo Xin Er snickered and she couldn't help but laugh looking at Mo Yuan who seemed to have heard her words.
Mo Yuan: "…" Was it really okay to ditch one's family like this? He could hear them, alright?
"You schemers. You're ganging up on me, aren't you? Mo Yuan, what a pitiful life you're living. No one loves you anymore," he pouted like he was about to cry.
Mo Xin Er was stumped. She wanted to knock on his head a few times. Did he seriously think he was adorable?
She kicked his ass saying a few pleasantries to her mother and disconnected the call. "Get in the car or I'm gonna jilt your stinking ass on the road."
He groaned, wagging his index finger at her."Damn, you. Stepping on me when I'm down."
"Right, I am. Who told you to hit your car? By the way, is your car still in repair?"
"Yeah. They'll transport it over to school when they're done with it" he replied getting into the passenger seat and shut the door. He glanced at her and she nodded stepping on the accelerator.

…
Mo Xin Er dragged her suitcase out of the car and walked towards the girls' hostel. The surrounding seemed to be fairly quiet with only a few people lounging around. She walked towards the matron's office to get her room card. Afterwards, she trotted along with her suitcase in hand and she seemed to catch attention
After all, she looked out of place in a hallway filled with girls clothed in colorful dresses which made her seem like she just walked out of a gym. She looked like a pervert stalking a pretty girl.
She soon got to her room and confirming it was the same number with the one on her room card, she turned the knob. The moment she walked in she was greeted with a fascinating scene…
A girl stood In the middle of the room which looked terribly disorganized. Rolls of paper, bags and clothes littered the rug. But most importantly, what caught her attention was the person herself. She was clad in a sports bra and a tiny skirt was hanging around her bottom. She was dancing; more like throwing her legs in the air ridiculously to a song playing.
It seemed the girl noticed the presence of a stranger for she halted and turned towards the door. She gasped in shock scratching her neck in embarrassment. Her reaction made her want to laugh. She coughed, slightly uncomfortable.
The girl laughed dryly, "Hi. I'm Fan Liuying. Your… roommate."
"Mo Xin Er," Mo Xin Er replied politely, her gaze returning to the mess around the room.
"I'm sorry about this mess. I'll take care of it in a minute."
Mo Xin Er smiled but her thoughts were totally opposite
Mo Xin Er: One minute, my foot. It looks like you dumped the whole garbage in the capital here.
She dragged her suitcase along, stopping in front of the tightly shut bedroom door. She flashed her room card in front of it and with a beep the door screeched open.
She walked in, turning on the lights and she grinned at the sight of her room. When she was registering for an hostel apartment, she had put in her opinion what she wanted in her room – black paint, fluffy bed, a layer ceiling so she could count the ceilings when she is unable to sleep.
She patted the bed delightedly and threw herself on it enjoying the comfy feeling. There was hardly any dust in the room; it seemed they hired a caretaker during the breaks.
About twenty minutes later, she stood at the door of the room. There was a silly grin of satisfaction plastered on her face as she patted her chest, looking at her creation.
