Chereads / The Trinity System / Chapter 27 - Meeting With The Dean

Chapter 27 - Meeting With The Dean

Dean Li did not take any offense to Fate's attitude. "I will get straight to the point then. As of today, you will be a level 2 trinity at this academy. You will now also be part of the demon race with the ability to use fire-related skills. Your new last name is Vampiria, and your new birth date will be March 23.

"This will be your new identity. If anyone says anything, just say that you were adopted and that your date of birth was mixed up. I am doing all this to keep you safe so you will not get dragged away and investigated. It would not be good to have you pulled away to some lab someplace as they try to figure out the capabilities of your new race. There are also two other reasons beyond this as well. The first reason is because someone asked me to take care of you. The second reason is that your presence will be needed in the future. Does this answer your current questions?"

Fate squinted her eyes and pursed her lips. "How many people know about my true identity?"

"Only two. Myself and my most trusted guard. We have a pact that makes it so we can not betray each other. " Dean Li replied.

"So the young man is your most trusted guard? And what makes you think I can even trust the two of you?" Fate still did not feel comfortable about any of this. She had no way of trusting the Dean or the guard. That was two people who were not bound by a pact that knew her real identity.

"We can sign a pact with you as well. We will not betray you in any way." Dean Li understood that Fate did not trust people easily. At first, he was like all the rest. He disliked Fate for being a normal human. But now that she had a system and was extremely powerful for someone of her level, he needed her strength. He knew how much of a hypocrite he was being, but at least he has the excuse of being pressured by a powerful existence to enroll her when he knew she would be harassed.

"If you are willing to sign a pact, then that will be good. We should get it done as soon as possible, so I can go back to class." Fate just wanted to get things done quickly so she can get back to planning her next moves.

"Alright, I will have Deteri come in." Dean Li called in Deteri, who was the young man who Fate had met earlier. After completing the pact, Dean Li continued. "Fate, I know there are people who have wronged you since you have come here. But I hope you can set these things aside for now."

"Dean Li, I will say this now. There are a few people I can not let go of. When I was on Grolam, I almost died. You have seen my race. I am sure you know some things about it, correct? A vampire is undying. If I did not gain my system at that time, I would have died from the wounds I received. I may look fine now but, do you know what it is like to look down to see your innards falling out of your stomach? What it is like to have your hand bitten off? Do you know what it is like to be on the brink of death? Tell me, Dean Li, do you?" Fate's eyes were as cold as ice. Just thinking about how she was so close to death all because of those bitches angered her. While Ella was now in her hands and her servant, she would not harm her, but she will take care of the other three bitches. No one can stop her from doing so.

Dean Li sat back in his seat and folded his hands. He knew from the look in Fate's eyes there was no stopping her. "How many?"

"Of your students?" Fate asked.

"Yeah." Dean Li had no other choice. He will sacrifice the students that harmed Fate in order to get on Fate's good side.

"Just three. They are all new students, so you do not need to worry about losing any good talents. Just come up with an excuse on why they died." Fate did not hide the fact that she was going to kill them. This was how society worked. She also did not care that she was making such absurd demands. In her mind, these three were already dead.

"Alright, but make sure you do not do it within the academy. Give me the names of the three as well. If I recall, the next leveling outing is in one week. You will be going to a two skull planet with many monsters ranging from level 1 to level 5. Deteri here will be your team's overseer. You will only need to get them to team up with you." Dean Li answered without hesitation.

"Getting them to team with me will not be an issue. Oh, Dean Li, do not announce that I am a trinity yet. It will be quite amusing seeing the look on these people's faces when I slap them with a fireball or two." Fate smiled sweetly as she giggled. Just thinking about the looks on their faces when she inflicts pain on them made Fate giddy.

"Alright. Have your fun but do not go too overboard. One last thing about your residence..." Dean Li thought for a moment before saying: "I will give you the top floor of the Elite House where Jean and Shae are living. But I can only do that when you decide to come out as a trinity."

"Then I will take you up on that offer. For now, I already have a place to stay within the city. I will be moving out of the slums tonight. If there is nothing else, I will be taking my leave." Fate had a big grin on her face as she thought about how she can mess with people without restraint. She also had to punish a certain teacher who seemed to think whipping her was a good idea.

"Alright, good to know. Try to keep your actions discrete. You may go." Dean Li felt like he was sending a wolf out to go and mingle with the lambs. But he knew no matter what happened, having Fate on their side was the best thing he could do for all trinity and humankind.

"Then I will be off." Fate smiled and gave a nod to Deteri, who nodded back before turning around and leaving. After she was back outside, Fate's smile disappeared, and her body became weak, causing her to lean on Jean.

"Fate?" Jean was confused as to what was going on. She did not feel that her master was hungry, so she did not know why her master suddenly became so weak.

"That was so tense!" Fate yelled. "Dean Li and that Deteri guy are both monsters in their own right. Having to put up such a strong front in front of them made me feel like I had two large million-ton rocks strapped to my feet, and I was being tossed into the middle of the ocean. But I know if I acted weak, I would not have gained anything. So I had to act tough just now. Luckily everything went smoothly."

Jean smiled and rubbed Fate's back. "At least we pulled through. If anything, I think you did a great job."

"You're just saying that because you are my servant." Fate said as she stood up straight. "Anyway, Jean, do you need to do anything for your family in the next week?"

"Not at this time. They told me to keep training so I will not lose in the tournament." Jean felt happy that Fate was keeping her promise and letting her take care of her family.

"Then go back and train. I need you to go with me tonight. Ella may need your help setting a few things up. I will be heading back to class now." Fate explained. She had many things to do and couldn't wait to begin implementing her plans.

"Okay, I will meet you at the pod station after classes then."

A man in a military uniform stood at the main gates of Trinity Academy. His hair fluttered in the wind as he stood at the gates with a bag over his shoulder. "Your name?"

"Aiden Moore, from today, I will be a combat instructor here." Aiden replied to the young man at the guard post.

"Please go to the Dean's office. He will have further instructions for you and set you up with the proper accommodations." The young man handed Aiden a pass and sent him on his way.

After stepping through the gates, Aiden looked around, hoping to see that one familiar figure. "I wonder what class she is in now and if she is doing okay. She didn't rip someone else's heart out, did she? " Aiden remembered the night before when he watched the girl kill the two thugs and even ate one of their hearts. She was merciless in her actions, but from what he heard, it seemed that it was payback for the things they did to the other girl.

Aiden stopped and looked at his hand and remembered the night he carried Fate in his arms. "Am I only doing this because she reminds me of my sister? Or is it because of something more..."
