A few minutes earlier...
Aiden was standing by a bench just outside the store, looking in. He smiled when he saw that Fate had kept the underwear he picked out. 'Maybe I should have picked out something sexier...' This thought popped into his mind as he remembered the goddess-like body he had seen that day. He then overlapped that image with sexy underwear before quickly shaking his head. 'Keep your mind straight, or she may come to hate you!'
Aiden watched as Fate walked to stand next to the counter. When she stuck her tongue out at him, he couldn't help but smile foolishly at how cute she was.
"Hey, your cute!" Three girls walked up. Two were from the cat race, while the other was from the merfolk race. They walked right over to Aiden with smiles on their faces. Although they were all good-looking Aiden didn't want to spare them a glance. The catgirl in the front was the one who spoke up and stood in front of Aiden. "My friend here is single, and I think you would be a perfect fit." she pointed to the girl from the merfolk race behind her.
Aiden forced a smile and replied: "I thank you, ladies, for thinking so highly of me, but I am with someone already." Although he lied, he planned to make it true at some point. He could tell Fate was treating him differently. He hoped this was a sign of her liking him. But he didn't dare to rush things.
"Aw, don't say that. This here is my friend, she is shy around guys, but she has a pure heart. Come, Mei, step forward and say high to... I'm sorry, cutey. What is your name?" The girl in front pulled the girl named Mei forward. Then stared questioningly at Aiden.
Aiden forced a laugh and replied: "Look, ladies, please stop. I am a man with morals. If I am with someone, I will not leave their side ever. I will be with them until death."
"So we just need to kill the bitch, and you can be with Mei. That's easy. Tell us who she is and we will take care of it." The other cat girl, who was quiet this entire time, suddenly spoke up.
Aiden was instantly enraged. He never thought these girls would make a threat like this. This is why he hated today's society. It was all about strength. If one had a lot of strength, they could do as they please, whether it was stealing someone else's lover or killing a person just because. Aiden opened his mouth to yell at the girl, but before he could, he heard Fate's angry voice. "Aiden, get over here!"
Aiden looked over at the store entrance to see Fate standing there with her arms crossed across her chest, tapping her foot on the ground. Her brow was furrowed, and he could tell she was not very happy. But seeing her like this made Aiden slightly happy. 'She's jealous, right?'
"As you can see, ladies, my wife does not like it when I talk with other girls, and with how cute my wife is, I would never want her to be mad at me. I will be leaving now. Good luck trying to find a man for your friend here." Aiden spoke loudly, making sure Fate could hear every one of his words. He took a side glance at Fate, whose cheeks were turning red, and praised himself internally. Unfortunately, these girls were not willing to give up, even with Fate standing there.
"Who does this bitch think she is?" The woman in the lead yelled then turned towards Aiden and pulled on his arm, causing him to lose his grip on the bags in his hands. "You are not going anywhere. You will become my friend's man today whether you like it or not."
Aiden was seriously mad now. He turned and looked coldly at the woman: "Let go of me...."
*Bam!*
"Let go of him!" Fate suddenly appeared next to Aiden, punched the girl square in the face, and then grabbed the girl's wrist, squeezing it to the point that cracking sounds could be heard.
"Ahhh!" The lead girl screamed out and quickly released Aiden before suddenly being struck in the stomach, sending her flying back.
As soon as the girl had let go of Aiden, Fate sent her foot straight into the girl's stomach with all her strength. Fate glared at the other girls staring at the scene in disbelief. They were still trying to comprehend what had just happened. One minute their friend was pulling the man back the next minute she was beaten and sent flying.
"You three should leave before I beat the shit out of all of you. No one is allowed to touch things that belong to me." Fate said, she then turned to Aiden and reached up towards his face as if she was going to cup his cheeks.
Aiden thought that maybe Fate realized she liked him and stood there waiting for her soft lips to touch his, but he quickly found out he was wrong when he felt a sharp pain in his ear: "Who the fuck are you calling your wife? Your nothing more than a pet dog! You actually go and wag your tail at any girl who talks to you? You swore you would not betray me so this means you can not go wagging your tail at some other woman!"
Aiden wanted to cry! 'Why is she being so mean!?' He didn't dare say anything out loud and just stood there taking the punishment Fate was dishing out. After scolding Aiden, Fate finally let go of his ear. She bent down and began picking up the packages that fell to the ground. Aiden rubbed his ear and also bent down to help pick up the packages as well. The two girls who were still standing there were at a loss of what to do.
"What are you waiting for? Get that bitch!" The girl who was punched and kicked away slowly got up, holding her stomach." She never expected to be kicked so hard. She could feel that a few of her ribs were cracked and her part of her face was starting to swell.
"Let's just drop it!" The girl from the merfolk race said. She never wanted to do any of this in the first place. Her friends suddenly decided they wanted to hook her up with some man, whom she didn't even know. No matter what she said to them they wouldn't let the subject go and now things had gotten out of control.
"Mei, we are doing this for you." The other cat girl said before stepping forward and charging at Fate, who had her back turned towards the girls.
The girl named Mei was confused as to why her friends were so stupid. Not wanting to be a part of what was happening, Mei sighed. 'I am not part of this...' She then turned and walked away. 'I need new friends...'
Fate turned to see the girl charging at her and sighed. She was disappointed in the girl because she was talking tough earlier about killing her but now when it came down to it she was no different than her classmates. 'Does she not realize she is full of openings?' Fate stood up and stuck her foot out, right as the cat girl arrived in front of her, kicking the second girl in the stomach just like she did to her friend. The girl buckled holding her stomach, fell to the ground, and began dry heaving. The other girl who had finally climbed to her feet glared at Fate: "You! Mei, are you just going to stan..." Her words got caught in her throat when she realized the girl she was yelling to was no longer there.
"This is everything." Aiden walked next to Fate and took the things from her hands. He was completely ignoring the other girls and only giving Fate his attention.
Fate looked at him before glaring and walking back towards the store. But after taking a few steps, she stopped, turned, and said: "Hurry up. If you stand outside, you will wag your tail at more girls."
Aiden let out a laugh and followed Fate back into the store, leaving the two girls behind. "Millie, I think we messed with the wrong people."
"No shit..." The girl who was in the lead named Millie frowned and held her stomach. She was in a lot of pain. "Let's go get healed, then find Mei, the damn girl, just up and left us."
The two girls supported each other as they walked away, utterly defeated. They never thought they would get beaten with a single kick each. When they first saw Aiden, they took him for some weak man since he was standing there carrying a bunch of bags, but they never expected the girl who he said was his wife was so quick in her actions and strong as well. Even if they were caught by surprise they were still beaten in a single attack.
Inside the store, Aiden stood holding the bags as Fate paid for her things and Jessica's. It was not until they walked out of the store that Fate asked: "Jessica, did you get everything?"
"Yes, I got everything I need. Thank you, Master." Jessica was on cloud nine. She had no idea how long it had been since she had new clothes. She had been stuck on the streets so long she never expected that one day she would wear such nice things. She was happy she met Fate, who had changed her life completely. "Master about those girls..."
Fate thought for a moment before asking: "Do you think you can beat them?"
"Mmm.." Jean's eyes began to glow dimly.
"Then off you go. Oh right, take some of these. Fill them all up. We do not have any good blood on hand." Fate turned and pulled out a few thermoses from one of the bags Aiden was holding and handed them to Jessica. "Make it quick. They shouldn't have gotten far. We will wait for you here."
"I will be fast, Master. I can smell them from here." Jessica sniffed the air before running off into the direction the girls had left in.
Fate sat down on the bench and patted the seat next to her. Aiden didn't hesitate to sit down. He put the bags next to his feet and turned to Fate: "So I belong to you?"
"Mmm... You are my dog. As your master, I can not let you wag your tail at any girl. And since I am your master, how can I let some other bitches touch my dog? I would be seen as a failure for not protecting my things."
