Dean Li smiled and continued: "Now, if you can show them your ability. Hmmm... Yes, let's have Miss Lilth here be your target. She is a teacher of our Trinity Academy, so she will not come to any harm if attacked by a new trinity."
Lilth's face fell. She knew Dean Li was doing this to teach her a lesson! She gritted her teeth and said: "Of course, Fate use everything you have. do not hold back."
Dean Li smiled and stepped back. He was actually doing this for two reasons. The first reason was that he wanted Lilth to take some punishment for what she had done. The second reason was so that any of those thoughts Lilth had for taking revenge on Fate would hopefully be washed away. He would prefer not to lose an academy teacher, even if he disliked Lilth's actions.
Fate was the only one smiling away with a real smile. Her smile was captivating all the boys, and even some of the girl's in the room. At the same time, a good majority of the girls were grinding their teeth out of jealousy of Fate's beauty. Fate ignored all these looks and raised her hand. A small flame began to form at the middle of her palm. Slowly getting big and bigger. If fate wanted to, she could create a {Fireball} quickly, but she wanted to see the look on Lilth's face as the {Fireball} gradually got bigger and bigger.
And much to Fate's delight, Lilth's expression kept sinking further and further. The fake smile she had on her face was quickly washed away. She could feel the immense heat the {Fireball} was giving off. "Fate, you should know when to hold back!"
"Hmmm? Hold back? I'm sorry to disappoint you, Miss Lilth but these words of yours make no sense. I mean, I am just doing as you taught me. You know, being as merciless as possible to my enemies. Is this not what you taught me that night you almost severed my arms with your whip? Did you not find it funny how quickly I healed? I guess not since you are too stuck in your own little world to notice such things. Now Miss Lilth, do defend carefully, or you may get more than just a little burnt." Fate smiled, feeling satisfied with the look she was receiving from Lilth. She no longer gradually created a {Fireball} and formed it to its max size. The air around the {Fireball} began to twist and turn. Anything that was near it turned to ash instantly.
Even Dean Li's eyes opened wide when he saw how frightening the {Fireball} was, but he still did not put a stop to it and only stood at the side watching with his hands behind his back. All the students in the room quickly backed away to the back of the room out of fear. Lilth was sweating. She knew she was not going to come out of this unscathed, and all she could do was block! If she tried to retaliate, she was sure the Dean would step in.
"Miss Lilth, your hair is so pretty today. It is too bad that it will be ruined now." Fate said with a smile. She was just about to release her attack when the door to the classroom opened. She turned her head to see Aiden walking in with a smile on his face.
Aiden reached up and scratched his head, and let out a laugh. "Haha! I felt something lively going on, so I figured I would come watch." His gaze fell on Fate, and he quickly walked over to her. He leaned in close and reached out his hand, grabbing Fate's wrist. "When attacking, you got to make sure you aim properly."
His closeness automatically made Fate blush, and Lilth, who was witnessing this, wanted to charge at Fate and kill the little bitch. She couldn't understand why Fate got to be so close to the man she had set her eyes on. Aiden leaned in so close that Fate could feel his breath tickle her ear. It sent shivers down her body making it hard for her to concentrate. But when she saw the envy in Lilth's eyes, Fate's womanly intuition told her that Lilth had her eyes on Aiden! Fate did not like this one bit. An uncontrollable emotion welled up inside her, causing her eyes to faintly grow red.
Aiden saw this out of the corner of his eyes and made sure to block her face with his own to keep people from seeing. He just casually continued his explanation: "Now it's perfect, there you go. Fire!"
Aiden yelled out, causing Fate to automatically do as he said and sent the {Fireball} flying towards Lilth, who was completely unprepared. She had no time to cast any protection spell and was directly hit by the {Fireball}. She flew back with her clothes and hair catching on fire. She let out a pitiful scream as she began rolling around the floor, trying to put out the flames.
Dean Li smiled and nodded as he looked at the class. "As you can see with both of her abilities, Fate can be considered an Elite and will be on the same level as Jean Zephyr and Shae Freemont. This is all I came to announce. Miss Lilth will be out for a few days to recuperate. Mr. Moore, I will have to ask you to take care of the class."
"As you wish, Dean Li." Aiden happily agreed.
Dean Li nodded and waved his hand, diminishing the flames on Lith's body. Her clothes were half burnt off, revealing more than should be as well as her hair being fully burnt off. Fate reached up and covered Aiden's eyes so he could not see the exposed parts of Lilth's skin. Her actions caused him to chuckle.
"You and you take her to the academy hospital." Dean Li pointed at two girls and gave his order before turning to Fate. He smiled when he saw how close to Aiden Fate was. He knew of Aiden's past and knew the young man was a good match for Fate. This was one of the reasons why when Aiden asked to become an official trainer at the school and told Dean Li the reason why, he immediately accepted. At first, it was so Fate would have a trinity ally she could rely on. Now, he could see the two have mixed together well and that they seem to have a natural attraction to each other. "Fate, come to my office after class so I can settle you into your room in the Elite House."
"Yes, Dean Li!" Fate replied.
"I will go with you," Aiden whispered.
Fate only snorted but did not tell him no. She found herself unable to say no to this man.
After Lilth was carried away, the class finally settled down. Fate took her seat, and Ella sat next to her. Aiden stood in front of the class and put his hand on the podium. "I want to say that I do not teach in classroom things. I find this information is easier taught in actual combat. So we will go to the academy arena and use the monster battle simulation. This will get you used to fighting against the targets without the risk of dying. But remember, serious injury is still possible, so do not think you can just stand there and take a hit from a simulation just because it can't kill you. You can still lose a limb or two before the system will boot you out."
Aiden's words made everyone shiver. The only exception was Fate, who could care less. What worried her was getting hurt then having her hunger grow out of control. "Master..." Ella passed a small tube to Fate that was filled with a red substance.
Fate looked over and smiled gratefully to Ella and quickly opened the tube, downing it all in none go.
[Hunger]: 80->85/100
Fate frowned, seeing how a small vile only recovered five of her hunger points. She was hoping for it to recover more. She could not rely on her {Minor Healing} while in class, or her cover would be blown. Fate was actually at a loss of what to do. Aiden, who was down below, never once lost sight of Fate's actions and saw that she seemed to be worried about something. When he saw the red vial, he knew it was due to blood. He thought for a moment before saying: "Everyone, head to the training field! Fate Vampiria, stay back for a minute."
Everyone gave strange looks to the two. One would be dumb not to know that something was going on between the two. After everyone left, Fate stood there with her arms crossed across her chest, looking at Aiden. "What's up?"
"You are having an issue with blood, right?" Aiden asked. He did not want to beat around the bush.
Fate sighed and shook her head. "It's not something that is easily fixed just by drinking blood here and there. My regenerative abilities cause me to grow hungry. If I get too hungry, I will go into a blood frenzy. At that time, I will suck anyone who is near me dry until I am full. Although I can stop this from happening, if I do not use it now that my regeneration is exposed, I will blow my cover."
