Chapter 41 - Monster Killing Training Part Three

Fate frowned when she saw the hairy terac spider in front of her. She was not scared of the sight of the terac spider but more annoyed. She gave a sidelong glance to Aiden and mouthed: "I will hit you later." Aiden could only smile bitterly since it was not up to him what monster spawned. He could only tell the ability circle which levels to create, and then it would create them at random. Even the slither could have been a different monster. But when he thought of the passionate kiss Fate gave him earlier, his bitter smile turned into a silly one. He wondered if he could somehow slip, and his lips would land on hers as he dodged Fate's attack later.

Fate turned her attention back to the terac spider ignoring the silly look on Aiden's face. She knew the terac spider was much more difficult to fight than the slither. She also knew it would not be good to fight the terac spider with just magic. She quickly cast a {Fireball} and shot it towards the terac spider before yelling out: "Sword!"

The battle area had a function built into it that allowed for you to call out any type of weapon you would like, and it would create it out of thin air. When Fate yelled out "Sword", a black sword appeared in her hands. She dropped it to her side and waited for the terac spider to make the slightest move. After her {Fireball} the terac spider was a little more wary of Fate. The reason it did not attack outright when it first spawned was because it felt that Fate was a serious threat. But now it was even more so.

*Cheee! Cheee!*

The terac spider made a sharp sound that sounded like nails on a chalkboard but amplified by thousands of times. Some of the students all yelled out in pain due to the extra sensitivity of their race. As for Fate, she only snorted and created a massive {Fireball} and tossed it at the terac spider before running behind it using it as cover.

The terac spider dodged to the side but did not expect that Fate followed its movements perfectly. It tried to desperately shoot webbing at her, only for Fate to jump into the air and do a front flip before landing on its back. She then swiftly swung the sword in her hand twice, cutting off the legs on each side so that the terac spider could no longer move. After that, she walked straight up the terac spider's back and stabbed her sword right into the back of the terac spider's head. She twisted her sword before thrusting to the side to make sure she hit its brain. The terac spider twitched a few times before finally collapsing to the ground. It was a swift kill. All of her classmates were amazed at how easily she killed the terac spider.

Fate jumped down to the ground, stabbed her sword into the ground, and walked out of the battle area. She looked at Aiden and asked: "Is that enough?"

"Mmm… Very good!" Aiden smiled and nodded his head. Before turning to the other students and saying: "As you can see, with a little courage and a bit of quick thinking, you can easily overcome the monsters and kill them with little to no effort. But remember, do not expect to do what Fate has done right off the bat unless you have some fighting experience. Only those who were trained at a young age would have such an ability. For now, it is best to learn through trial and error. With that said, who's next?"

Aiden's words motivated everyone else. It was also because of how swiftly Fate had killed the spider that some of the boys of the class thought they were tough and rushed into the battle area. Screams of pain were heard as many came close to death. Some of the monsters after the terac spider were extremely vicious. Heads were bitten off. Some even had their skin melted with acid-like fluid. The whole experience had left many students with lingering fears.

As the class went on, Aiden forced all students to fight multiple times. Even those who were on the ground shivering in fear were lifted up and tossed back into the battle area. After an entire eight hours of this, some of the students were able to overcome their fear while others were not. But Aiden knew that after a few days, this kind of training would make these students' combat abilities much better and make them less arrogant when going out into the real world to level.

"Okay, that is it for today. I will say this. I expect all of you here tomorrow. If anyone dares not show, I will come hunt you down and force you to fight multiple monsters over and over again without rest for an entire week." Aiden's eyes were cold as he said this. His gaze made many lower their heads. They could tell from his expression that he was not lying when he said this.

After class, Fate and Ella went to the shower room to wash themselves off. In the dressing area, Fate stripped her clothes off and tossed them to wash. Ella also did the same. When Ella saw how flawless Fate's body was, she couldn't help but blush slightly. Unable to control herself, she walked up to fate and hugged her arm. "Fate, how does it feel to be looked at as if you were a star?"

Fate looked around here, and indeed many girls were looking at her as if she was some kind of famous person. Why this was, Fate did not know, nor did she care. But seeing Ella's expectant gaze, Fate sighed and said what was on her mind. "Their gaze is no different than when they looked at me as if I was a piece of dirt. They only see me as someone strong now, so in their pea-sized brains, they want to idolize me. Come on, let's go bathe. I need to go see Dean Li."
