Aiden was at a loss for what to say. He could only look up at the girl who was staring back at him in anger and smile. Her every expression to him was cute. From her angry one to her embarrassed one, they were all cute. He just wished he could see her smile. "What are you smiling at? It's creepy!" Fate yelled.
"Umm... Master, do you need us to leave the room so you two can be alone?" Jessica was still blushing. Her master was straddling a man in front of everyone, and the way they were bickering made them seem very close.
Fate was confused by Jessica's question. "Why would I want you to leave the room?"
"Well, your current position..." Jessica pointed at Fate. Fate looked down, and her already red face became a deeper shade of crimson.
"It's not what you think!" Fate yelled out as she hurriedly tried to get up, only to lose her balance once again, falling to the floor. "Ow..."
"Master, are you okay!?" Jessica quickly got up to help Fate up.
"Yeah, I am fine." Fate said, rubbing her head. She looked over at Aiden, who was still lying there with swollen eyes, and frowned. 'I guess I went a little overboard… Although he is a pervert, it was also my fault for bathing in public...' Letting out a sigh, she walked over to him and raised her hand, casting a healing spell on him. His swollen eyes slowly receded but were not fully healed. "I will forgive you, but you can't use your healing ability to heal these wounds any more than I have just now."
"If that is what it takes for you to forgive me, then no problem." Aiden sat up and smiled at Fate.
Seeing the handsome young man in front of her smile at her caused Fate to look away. "Good… Now I will give you two choices. You can either die or form a pact with me that will keep you from betraying me. Quickly choose. I do not have a lot of time. I still need to go clothes shopping today and pack up my belongings."
"I, of course, choose to form a pact. I never had any intentions of betraying you. If I did, I would have already told people about you. I already have the things needed for a pact as well. I kept them on me when I arrived at the academy this morning. I figured you would not trust me since we do not know each other all that well. " Aiden pulled out a vial of soul fluid and a magic pen. He did not hesitate to begin writing in the air creating the pact and signing his name to it.
Fate quickly looked it over and signed it. The two of them both dropped a drop of blood onto the pact finalizing it. "So now we can not betray each other even in the matters of the heart." Aiden said with a smile.
"Matters of the heart, my ass! Your nothing but a shameless peeping pervert!" Fate stomped her feet, gritted her teeth, and glared at Aiden. It took her a few minutes to actually calm down.
"Fate, I find something weird." Jean spoke up.
"What's wrong?" Fate asked. She didn't see anything weird except the thing on the couch.
"This entire time, Aiden and you have been in close proximity, and he does not seem to be affected by your charm." Jean replied. She found it strange that Aiden had no reaction to Fate's charm at all. Even when Fate was lying on top of him, there was not a single reaction. His eyes never glazed over, and he seemed to truly care about Fate with his own will and not due to her charm.
"Now that you mention it, I wonder why?" Fate pondered for a moment before walking over to Aiden and sitting next to him. She reached out and cupped his face with her hands and stared him directly in the eye. Aiden looked Fate in the eyes with a casual smile on his face. He could see every contour of her face, which seemed to be perfectly shaped. "Anything?"
"Hmmm? Should I be feeling anything? Your hands are soft if that is something, and your eyes are pretty." Aiden began complementing every part of Fate's face making her blush.
Fate pushed Aiden away and yelled: "Not that! Never mind. This just means you're a weird one."
Letting out a sigh, Fate could only figure it to be Aiden's mind stat was too high. It was something she could investigate more later. "It's getting late. We need to go clothes shopping. Jessica is wearing my old clothes, and I only have the clothes I am wearing."
Looking at the clothes on her body, she turned to Aiden, blushing slightly as she said: "Thank you for the clothes that day."
Aiden smiled and said: "Not a problem. At the time, your clothes were in tatters, and I did not wish for anyone to see you like that."
"Leave it to our king to be so loving and caring towards our master." Ella nodded her head, approval of Aiden.
"Mmm… The two make a great match. I wonder when we will see our little ones running around." Kacey said as she smiled warmly at the two.
"Oh! We need to come up with names for the little ones! It should be only a year or two before they will be born with how these two are so lovey-dovey." Ella said excitedly.
"Yep, I can see Master walking around with a newborn in the next few years." Jessica also agreed with the other two.
"What about Destiny if it is a girl. It would match Master's name perfectly and could stand for what Master's and our King's relationship is like. The perfect, destined couple." Jean quickly joined in, and the four girls were chattering away about naming Fate's unborn children.
Fate, who was standing at the side hearing all of this, was turning red for the hundredth time today. "Alright enough! I have no idea where your minds are at, but there is absolutely nothing going on between this shameless pervert and me!"
"Yes, Master. We know. Nothing at all… We won't say anything else. Just tell us when the wedding is..." Ella said teasingly.
"You!" Fate wondered if servants were allowed to tease their master. Scratching her head in frustration, she finally said: "Come on, let's just go. Mom, are you coming?"
"No, I will wait here." Kacey replied with a smile. She did not like leaving things unattended.
"Okay, then let umm do this. Ella, Jean, you two stay here and help my mom pack things up. We are moving to your house tonight anyway. We do not need everything; a good portion of it can be left here. But we want to at least bring keepsakes." Fate wanted to have everything prepared before as early as possible. She had not expected to be moving so soon, but she also did not want to be stuck in the slums for even one more night.
"Yes, master." Both Jean and Ella bowed their heads at the same time upon receiving their orders.
"Alright then, Jessica and I will be off." Fate already had money on hand, so she was ready to go. But as she walked towards the door, she seemed to have forgotten a certain someone. She turned to look at Aiden, who was following right behind her, and asked disgruntledly: "What are you planning to do?"
"Me? I am going with you. It can be considered our first dat… Ow! Can you at least let me finish my words before you kick me!?" Aiden asked as he shook his leg.
"Then stop speaking nonsense!" Fate wanted to beat this man to death, but then she would be breaking the damn pact she made with him.
"Fine! I won't joke around. I am going with you. There are a few things I need to pick up as well. You're not going to tell me to get lost now, are you?" Aiden asked.
"No, just don't say misleading things." Fate glared at Aiden before walking out the door. Jessica and Aiden followed behind them.
Kacey and the other girls watched them leave with warm smiles on their faces. "I think he is good," Kacey said, breaking the silence.
"Mmm… He is good to Master. Now we just need to wait for Master to come around." Jean said.
"He is already in a pact with her and is not affected by her {Charm}. I think he is perfect. Plus, he is handsome. And since they have already kissed, they are meant to be. Hopefully, Master is not too dense to her own feelings." Ella was worried on this part.
"Only time will tell. We can only support their relationship at this time. Come, let's get things cleaned up and get what needs to be packed. We want to be ready for when Fate returns." Kacey clapped her hands and began handing out jobs.
