In front of the shrine, Hakai smirked. Then, with his head down and eyes closed, he chuckled slightly. Then, his senses zapped, picking at a sudden jolt of negative energy.
Zap!
His eyes widened as he looked back. "Perhaps 3.2 km away." He said to himself as he punched his palm in excitement. "Alright!" He screamed while looking up into the dark sky. "I'm back!" He cried with all his might. Then, turning around, he looked down and smirked just before jumping into the dark sky.
Bam!
He left a dent in the ground where he leaped.

"I wonder what he's doing right now!" Mai laid back in her room's office chair. Her thoughts about the boy/god were running rugged. His smile and soft attitude caught her completely off guard, the mysteries behind him were massive, and she wanted to learn them all. She wanted to know why she could see into the spiritual realm and how he became a god. To her, he resembled nothing of those legendary beings, the humans so pray and wish to. "Aha." she sighed while placing her hand on her forehead. "I wish I could see him..." She wished while getting back to doing her homework.

"You two, stay outside for now." A dark figure, almost resembling a human behind the shadows, instructed horrifying phantoms.
"Ahhh." The spirits roared, though, with no thought, it seemed they took to his orders quite well.
***
After some time in the air, he fell to the ground and leaped again. "The threat, two Evil Spirits?"He said to himself, unable to detect the third one. "Fusion, no?" He asked himself, confused. It seemed as if some time had passed since the figure issued that order to the two phantoms, and the third seemed nowhere near. "Wait, another presence?" He asked himself, able to detect it finally. "It's almost growing in power." He said to himself while descending.
Bam!
He leaped again, with much more force.
Sa-boom!
Hakai landed feet away from the two evil spirits. His feet dug into the ground. He stepped forward to find them doing absolutely nothing. "What? They're not fusing?" He asked himself as he watched the two stand there staring at him.
"Hahhh!" One of them roared as it used its freakish eight octopus-like legs to slither towards him.
"Creepy fast!" the corners of his mouth fell. "Disgusting!" He screamed, creeped out by the phantom slithering towards him. He jumped over it as it approached and looked back at it. The spirit once again turned around and attacked him again.
With its snake-like body, the other spirit charged him from the back. Unnoticed, he found it close to him.
"Ehh!" The snake-like phantom opened its mouth and stretched to bite him. The octopus spirit reached with four of its legs to grab him. However, he simply managed to jump up and out of the reach of the attacks.
"Two low ranks with unique abilities, but why aren't they fusing already?" He asked himself with a daze while backflipping in the air. Hakai landed crouched behind the Evil octopus spirit. His curiosity grew, and his new weapon. "Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi," he chanted. A legendary Katana, only wielded by a God who represents virtue, appeared in his right hand.
"I wanna find out more," Hakai said as he sliced away one of the octopus legs. He stayed crouched, examining it. "Suction cups? It'll be bad if this fellow lays a tentacle on me." He said to himself while the spirit turned to face him with rage.
"Gah," The spirit roared in anger while smashing the ground with all its tentacles.
Bam!
Boom!
Bam!
The phantom caused an uproar on the sidewalk next to the targeted building. Then, it suddenly stopped the smashing attacks and scanned to see where Hakai was.
"Ha?" The spirits both sounded as the dust cleared. Hakai was nowhere near where the phantom's ranged episode was.
"Over here!" Hakai shouted as he waved to the pair.
"This is strange, strange indeed." He said to himself as he dashed towards the pair at incredible speed. "I should just see how far I can make it without the use of Positive energy." So he thought to himself as he cut off the heads of the serpent and octopus spirit clean off their necks.
"Heh?" The two spirits sounded in confusion while their heads fell to the ground. As their heads impacted the ground, they quickly began regenerating, and Hakai stood staring over his shoulder.
"Why aren't they fusing!" He shouted while messing up his hair. "And this other signature, does it belong to these same spirits?" He said to himself, looking into the building, tracing the most concentrated negative energy inside. "Second floor, huh?" He said to himself as he looked over his shoulder to find the serpent phantom whacking its long tail at him. "This one already healed?" He said to himself as a thought rang. "It reattached itself in a manner of no time." He said as the speeding tail stuck him on the side. Hakai tried defending back against it with both his forearms. Yet, the attack carried his feet along the ground.
"Some force!" He said as the tail reached back and swung again. However, this time, he managed to leap over it and charge the spirit, immediately beheading it again. Then, his sclera glowing in blue, he enchanted behind the spirit's back. "Evil spirits of darkness, created to destroy, vanish." Hakai chanted as a spell circle, and above it, a wheel of divine writing appeared, reducing the phantoms to thin air. Hakai stood still, watching the tentacle he sliced off disintegrate along with the spirit. They both perished. The pair of phantoms were bound to move up the ranks in no time with such abilities.
"Now for the other presence..." He said to himself as he looked back into the building. Dashing through the halls, he went up the stairs in lighting quick movement, only leaving a trail of dust and blue light that followed him. Then, he suddenly stopped at the door, "room 22." He said to himself, sensing the evil signature. Opening the door, he found the spirit, unnoticed, feeding on the negative emotions that poured out of the human and pushing the human to suicide with a hanging noose.
