"Lord Hachiman, The God of War, I have an urgent message regarding important information!" Then, an angelic human-like being, armored and armed with a massive white sword, appeared with another maid that served Hachiman in his Takamagahara main shrine. They caught him off guard while making his way down the hall.
"Thank you, Himari." Hachiman nodded with appreciation to his young maiden. Then, smiling, she bowed and left the two alone. "This way." Hachiman gestured to the angel to follow him along.
"Yes, your highness." The angel carried a golden scroll containing critical information spreading across to all gods, occupying earth and other dimensions.
As Hachiman opened the door and walked into a room, there was nothing in the sight of the large room but a Horigotatsu table. Hachiman crawled in and gestured for the angel to do the same.
"Of course, after you, Lord Hachiman." He bowed down, also crawling inside the Horigotatsu table.
{For your information: Horigotatsu is a traditional Japanese table low to the ground with a recessed floor beneath it so that people can stretch their legs.}
"Ohh, I see. So, Hakai managed to kill a New Type as well, and this information he obtained is crucial!" Hachiman nodded joyfully, placing his hand on his chin with a slight grin.
"Yes, Lord, anything for me to relay to the High Heavens?" The angel asked Hachiman in haste. He seemed in a hurry, yet, he also appeared respectful and paid close attention to Hachiman. Realizing his urgency, Hachiman crossed his arms and thanked the angel. "Thank you. You may take your leave when the escort is here." Hachiman told him as the door slid open.
"Thank you for your appreciation, my lord." He stood out of the Horigotatsu table and walked beside the armored man. The two bowed as they closed the door, and the footsteps of the two faded down the long hall.
Hachiman laid back with a smile on his face. "What a job well done, Hakai!" Hachiman said in a burst of light laughter. The door slid open, and Miko appeared with a tray containing sake and plates of barbecue to go along.
"Oh, Miko! Just in time to hear about your crush's achievement!" He shouted as he jolted up to look at Miko with a blushing smirk.
'C-C-Crush!?" Miko stuttered while standing by the door, walking in the young maiden. Kumi appeared behind the door.
Bowing down, she spoke with her soft and laid-back voice. "Enjoy."
"Thanks, Kumi." Said Miko while walking in, blushing.
"Thank you so much, Kumi!" Hachiman waved at her with a smile.
The young, carefree maiden, Kumi, blushed while walking out and sliding the door close ever so slightly.
"Hm. At your service, my lord." She took the appreciation severely. Finally, she closed the door, and her footsteps faded away.
While placing the glass and organizing the plates, Hachiman bounced around in his seat in excitement. Then, pouring him some sake, Miko caught on to his happy dance and asked. "What about Hakai?" She guessed it because he was always bright when Hakai accomplished good things.
"He managed to beat a C-ranked spirit and obtained a ton of helpful information too!" He said, pumping his fist up and down with clouds coming out of his ears, blushing. He smiled, picking up the glass of sake.
"Oh! that's great!" She celebrated, thrusting her fist above her head, blushing, relieved, and happy for the achievement Hakai grasped. "But is he okay?" She asked, worried about his current condition.
"Right!" Hachiman agreed as he took a sip. "The answer to that question is something I don't have." He answered her with a soft tone. Sad, her head sagged, looking down to the table, she seemed worried, but Hachiman reassured her.
"If anything, I know he's okay. After all, he's one hell of a warrior and a knucklehead." Hachi reassured here, taking a bit out of the skewered barbecue.
"Hmm, your right." Miko tightened her grip on the tray while her worries were relieved a bit.

"Hmm, hmm. I'm here!" He shouted, jumping to Mai's window. Although curtains covered her window, he could peek through a slight crack. "She looks so beautiful when sleeping!" He said to himself, blushing, admiring her features, and watching her sleep, made him sleepy too. "I guess the park's bench it is!" He shouted to himself while crouched. Nearby Mai's house was a park. Though he never slept or been to it, he was determined not to sleep at any shrine. However, as always, his hasty decision could come at a hefty price. While dozing, a god's sensory abilities decrease.
