"No, no, thank you." She said, flustered and scared. She pulled her arm away and tried to walk away, but the first guy stood in front of her, blocking her. As it took place, not a single person passed by, as if all the people in the world had just disappeared. "Please, I have school!" She said, placing her phone into her side bag.
"Well, we have the goods." The guy in front of her said as he pulled out a small white powder bag.
"Let's go over there, sniff it, and it will give you a hell of a fun ride." The tank top guy instructed her as he held onto his jeans flyer.
Aki struggled to leave or even think of something. Her eyes teared, her body's temperature rose, while she couldn't do a thing.
The two walked closer, trying to grab her. The guy in front of her felt a sudden tug on his button-up t-shirt from the back.
Bam!
He was pulled back and thrown to the ground.
"Eek," Mai screamed as the guy behind her rubbed his leg on her thigh.
"Partner, she's a good one." He said as he licked his lips. He noticed his partner thrown feet away and unconscious, looking over her head. "What the hell?" Surprised, he felt a sudden, dark, and angry presence behind him. Slowly glancing back, his eyes met two red glowing eyes.
Aki closed her eyes as she prayed into her heart for a savior.
"Get your filthy ass hands off of her," Hakai said as he grabbed the offender by his cheeks. Then, lifting him, he cried in muffled noises.
"Pl-ease, sorry!" The offender apologized. Enraged, Hakai couldn't even consider forgiving these guys for their sinful acts. Tossing the guy into the ally they emerged from, he hit the back wall with some force, knocking him unconscious. He fell and flopped on the ground, sleeping.
Watching this unfold, Aki tried to peek into the ally but was stopped by Hakai's outstretched arm. "Scums, leave them be. They'll wake up later." He said, looking over at her with his glowing red eyes.
"Th-thank you." Mai thanked him, blushing.
Snapping back into reality, he glared at her with a soft expression while realizing what he had just done. "That guy, his spine." He said, grinding his teeth.
"What's wrong?" She asked Hakai, realizing his desperate look.
"No-nothing, just go to school.' He instructed her, realizing something else. "Can I borrow your phone?" He turned around, asking the confused Mai.
"Hmm, but for what?" She asked him, handing over the phone to him.
"I'm calling the cops on these two." He giggled, scratching the back of his head. "Thanks." He grabbed it out of her hand. "Actually, can you call them?" He asked her again while still giggling like a fool, handing the phone back to her again.
"Yes, I got it. Alright." She said while still in a daze.
While on the phone with the emergency department, Hakai walked over to the first guy, lifting him to his shoulder. Then, he walked into the alley, placing him against a wall. Mai finally finished the call and informed Hakai while walking into the alley. "Well, I called the cops and gave them their descriptions and location. What now?" She said while placing her phone away.
"What about the offense?" Hakai asked her as he slowly flipped the guy on his back. Then, running his hand down the spine, he examined him for any injuries. "Thank goodness. He's okay." Hakai thought in relief as he picked him up.
"Bystander watched them sexually harass a minor." Then, she cut to the chase.
"Good, I need to find something to tie them up with!" He smiled. "Do you have a marker on you?" He asked her, stretching his arm out.
"Hmm, here." She said while her thoughts cleared a bit.
"Thank you." He thanked her, uncontrollably laughing like a clown.
"What's it for?" She asked him behind his back. Then, picking up the tank top man, he placed him beside his buddy.
Hakai walked all around the alley to find a thing to them up with; however, there was nothing. "Well, whatever." he sighed in exhaustion. "They're gonna sleep for a while." He walked past Mai, crouching down to the pair. He scribbled all over their face.
"This!" He presented to her a scribble over their faces, smiling and giggling. She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.
"Pfft!"
"Predator!"
"Pedophile!"
"Druggies!"
He gave her a thumbs-up, smiling while placing the small bag beside their lap. Then, pulling their faces close, he sealed the pair's lips. "That'll teach 'em!" He said as he stood up.
"Alright. I'll walk you to school!" He proposed hands on his hips, looking back at her.
"Huh? I- Thank you." She said, watching him lead the way.
