Chapter 48 - Chapter 46: Main Hall

"We hereby accept the outcome of this session. With the positive power and faith invested within us, We, The High Heavens, will bless Hakai God, a new vessel. But, of course, we cannot and will not alter anything about his special abilities. His sacred visual prowess, abilities, spells, and weapons will remain the same. He will undergo a prayer blessing in a few. By then, please make yourself at home in Heavens Main Hall." The unified voice put a halt to the uproar.

"Well then, ought to make the most of it." Hachiman placed his hands behind his back with a bit of scuff.

Wham!

The court transported all of the Gods of Earth to a different dimension. Then, all appeared in front of a vast entrance to an expansive room. "Main Hall," Hachiman read to himself as he spotted Miko waving at him.

"Here, my lord." She kept waving to catch his attention.

"Miko? So, I'm visible." He told himself, looking down at his hands. "Hmm." He grunted, looking at his shield, levitating behind his back. "This place is as beautiful as ever!" Hachi's eyes lit up like a little kid, taking in all the scenery. Fountains, trees, bushes, and flowers were lined up in the center of the room and down to the end, where it seemed endlessly long. On both sides of the room were little stand shops, mixed cultures from the earth, occupied by human souls. They sold food, drinks, clothes, etc. All of the things at these little stands were unique and beautifully displayed. The chatter and laughter filled the atmosphere.

While this dimension was vast, the main hall had no roof looking up. So instead, Hachiman admired the star-lit sky. Three moons were orbiting the world, providing light through the night. "Wow!"

"My lord, try this, try this!" Miko said, holding out an ice cream cone.

"What is it?" He asked her, taking the cone out of her hand.

Hachiman tried the white ice cream, and his eyes sparkled. "Delicious!" He shouted out in the open.

"Right! I got it from a Turkish Ice cream stand. But the merchant kept messing with me. Once, he acted like he was handing me the cone, but he let go of it and held it by the bottom. IT looked like it fell, but he was holding on to it." She explained the merchant's cheeky way of selling the ice cream.

"He laughed at me, and I was shocked. So he grabbed me some tissue and another cone I didn't see. He slid onto the ice cream cone and handed me the ice cream. I grabbed it, and he pulled the actual ice cream cone out, and I was left with just a plain cone." Her eyes sparkled. "He then laughed, and the people around me too. I was embarrassed. Then he finally handed it to me." Miko had her fun.

{This is a traditional way of selling ice cream in Turkey. A common practice done by most cream stands throughout the country.}

"Hmm, fun." Hachiman smiled. "Let's explore some more!" He pumped his fist up with excitement.

"unpronounceable prayer."

"Where am I?" Hakai opened his eyes, struggling to move. He looked up and found himself chained, floating in the air. Behind him was a massive divine wheel. Very unique and different, one he has never seen.

"Ahh!" He shouted in pain as the Gods continued their prayers. Then, knocked unconscious, the Gods kept going, and the ritual resumed.

After a while, finally, both Hachiman and Miko were done spending their money. Excited to see Hakai, he sat on a bench and looked over at Miko. "I will tell the rest back home, but this meeting was for Hakai." He secretly whispered to her. Miko stood still, tightening her grip on the bags she held.

"Hmm." She softly grunted while sweat ran down her face.

"He's blessed with a new vessel." He smiled, relieving her of all the negative thoughts accumulated in her mind.

"Thank goodness." She smiled softly, with tears running down her face. "Thank goodness."

"Hmm." Hachiman smiled, looking down to the floor. "I finally stood against their decisions." Hachiman thought to himself, despite having massive respect for the Gods of Heaven. He knew that there was another side to them, one he finally bore witness to.
