"Layout the rules!" Hakai screamed as he never dropped his attention on the opponent in front.
"The rules are simple, first one's back on the ground is the loser, and yielding will result in loss." He stated as his weapon still faced the defensive Hakai. "The match shall go for as long as the two opponents are standing."
"What about using our sacred weapons?"
"Hmm, use of special abilities and weaponry is allowed." He furthermore explained as a drop of sweat ran down Hakai's forehead. "Those who deal fatal wounds will be disqualified and be named the loser." He informed him with a bit of a smile. "Got it?" He asked him to see if Hakai understood all the laid-out rules.
"Alright, but one question!" He screamed at his rival while looking down. "What kind of luminescent ore is this?" He asked Hachiman with stupidness written all over his face.
"Stupid! Quit the jokes!" Hachi yelled at him with aggression underneath the armor.
"Hey, why all that armor? Are you really that afraid of me?" Hakai taunted him with a big smirk.
"Not at all. This armor is only a method of showing off while I beat you." Hachiman taunted him back as the two took a stance of battle-ready. So who'd win, Destruction or War? Will war overcome the causes of destruction, or will destruction destroy war in its entirety?
The two Gods stared one another down. Then, in an intense atmosphere, the world shook as the two stared one another down.
"Began!" Hachiman shouted from the top of his lungs as he pointed the spear up and again at Hakai.
"Come, Hakai God!" He demanded as he slammed the rear of the spear with his foot.
"Heh?" Hakai smiled with a wicked sound emitting from his smirk.
Hakai disappeared, then appeared in front of Hakai, elbows crossed, he came down to momentum. Swinging his daggers resulted in a racket against the shield.
Bam!
The two sacred weapons collided.
"Hmm, need to find a way around that damned shield." Hakai assessed the situation as he fell to one knee.
Shkeen!
He used visual prowess to teleport to any desired location as long as he kept sight of said location.
"Not so quick!" Hachiman blocked his sight with his sacred shield.
"Tsk!" Hakai remarked as he backed away from the shield. "What nuisance." He said to himself while gripping the Daggers of Calamity.
"Those eyes, their pattern, it will be scary when used properly," Hachiman remarked as his shield returned to levitate behind his back.
Hakai surveyed the flat luminescent world, trying to find any cover. However, there was nothing near. "What a miserable terrain. No height advantage, nothing to act as cover!" He said to himself while Hachiman appeared in front of him.
Clink!
Hachi drove the spear down with force. Luckily, Hakai managed to hold the spear with his daggers across from each other.
"This is bad!" He said to himself. He jumped up and kicked Hachi in the chest, sending him back, trying to maintain balance, and stopped himself from sliding. Hakai noticed this distance and allowed him to use his visual prowess.
Shkeen!
He teleported behind Hachi. From down below, he punched his right dagger in his way, hoping that momentum and his force would be able to penetrate the armor. However, Hachiman quick thinking saved him from such blows.
"I totally forgot he can levitate!" Hakai cried out as he watched Hachi descend with tremendous speed.
Hachiman reached out his arm to punch him. Luckily once again, Hakai's bothersome visual prowess teleported him out of harm's way.
"That would've taken me out!" He said, scared at the thought of receiving that blow. "He's not even trying!' Hakai said as he still thought of a way around his massive shield. " The Yata no Kagami, what a bothersome!" Hakai said while running towards Hachi at subsonic speed.
"Haa!" He swung his dagger only to be stopped again by Yata no Kagami shield. Hachiman turned his spear towards Hakai and used only the stick, sending him flying meters away. "Guh!" Hakai groaned as he impacted the ore ground. "He's using a defensive style while I'm just raining unpredictability on him!" Hakai said while getting up from the ground. "Time to use my brain!" He said as he teleported behind Hachiman.
Shkeen!
Realizing Hakai was behind him, he turned around and found no one there.
Shkeen!
He teleported above him, swinging his leg down with force.
Bam!
He finally managed to land a hit on Hachiman, but a kick hit his helmet and caused him to go off balance. Hachiman smiled and stared his buddy down when taken back by such an attack.
"Not bad!" He genuinely praised him, even though he wasn't trying against Hakai.
"Hachiman, you said this was a sparring session. However, you're not even trying." Hakai said to him while teleporting out of his vision constantly.
Shkeen!
He escaped his sight.
Shkeen!
He averted his attention, teleporting behind him.
Shkeen!
He used his visual prowess to teleport before him for the last time.
"Don't take me lightly, Hachi! Don't hold back! Show me your power!" Hakai yelled at him, demanding respect. Hachiman only did what was best for his regard. Hachiman didn't think of this as a sparring session to him. It was more like a way to teach Hakai to grasp the use of the new energy. Imply new techniques, and see how long he could last in such situations.
"I was going to help you, but since you insist," Hachiman said while the armor disappeared into thin air, and his shield flew meters away before falling flat on the surface. "I'm going only to use my fists!" He shouted as his spear also vanished into thin air.
"I don't wanna learn without pressure, for me to learn something new! Pressure me!" Hakai demanded while pointing his index finger at him.
"As you wish," Hachiman said, taking a martial arts stance. "Ready yourself for round two! Same rules!" He shouted as he looked Hakai down, ready to show him true strength.
"Well, well. If you're not using your sacred items, neither am I!" Hakai said as his daggers vanished and returned to his vault.
"Fine by me." Hachiman gave up teaching him how to wield his weapons with the new energy. "Alright, Hakai, begin!" Hachiman called. The two rivals, in an instant, disappeared and reappeared at each other's necks!
