Hachiman flew by a skyscraper at high speeds. He couldn't help but awe the light show and people while viewing the beautiful scenery below. "This is beautiful!" He awed with sparkly eyes.

A straight-ahead apartment roof went in dust smoke. "So, they've finally shown up!" He said to himself while landing next to the evil spirits by the budling. "I wonder how this will unfold." So he thought to himself as he noticed that the intelligent evil spirit could command the lower rank. However, this lower-ranked spirit seemed unusual. It was a New Type that Hachiman had never seen before. Its negative energy signature significantly differed from the rest. It almost matched that of the intelligent one next to him. "What is that thing?" He stared at the horrifying evil spirit, covered in eyes and tears. It had a mouth big enough to fit an entire human.
Going into the apartment's doorway, he hid and rose slowly after some time to check if they had gone inside. "Alright." He said to himself as he flew over to the target building. Landing carefully, he went inside the apartments quickly, yet he couldn't contain his curiosity. "How do they evolve from such a primitive state?" He asked himself as he traced the sense of negative energy to an apartment drenched in negativity. "Built-up stress and negative emotions. A suicide case in which evil spirits love to feast upon their feelings."
"Ahh!" Hachiman heard a man scream in agony, perhaps around his middle thirties. However, he didn't know how to act in such a situation. So he decided to peek into the open apartment door with mixed emotions, and what followed was perhaps one of the ugliest scenes he had seen to date. "What in heavens is this?" Hachiman watched as the intelligent spirit watched out, and the immature phantom pulled and tugged on the human soul. "So this is evolution?" He uttered as his eyes widened in disgust. "They consume a spirit of a human. taking their conscience and core, it evolves their bodies, mind, and creates a spiritual core." He explained to himself as he creaked the door open.

The phantom's spiritual body began to shape and form. This one, in particular, changed drastically, representing human traits found in the body's structure. However, the array of dark lights engulfed the room as the spirit flew up, and another two pairs of arms sprouted from its back. Another eye grew in the back of its blade head. Its legs grew two more feet in length. The spirit's nail grew to a lion's size. As it opened its fanged mouth to roar, it instead spoke. "What a refreshing feeling!" The phantom stated in excitement while looking at its original pair of hands. "My name will be Arrif!" The spirit shouted in excitement.
"Gah!" Arrif roared in victory.
"Ahh!" The watch-out spirit followed with its roar. "I'm Lum. It's a pleasure to welcome you into this world!" He greeted the newly born evil spirit. "You are a new type and host of a twisted human conscious. We now shall report to the Dark Lord the mission's success." He informed the newly born Arrif, still exploring his new body. "I can think, speak, hear, and feel!" He uttered with a twisted grin. "Back then, I was lost in a maze of darkness, unable to think, be heard, or speak. Truthfully, it was an utter nightmare. Who was I?" He asked Lum in haste.

The door behind the pair of phantoms screeched open. The two turned around in haste to find an angry Hachiman. Disgusted by the scene, Hachiman couldn't maintain his calm anymore. "That human spirit is gone forever, you bastards!" He said while his voice deepened with every word. "Who put you up to this?" He asked the scared pair.
"Yo-you're the God of War, Hachiman!" Lum uttered as he pointed at him with the tip of his demonic sword.
"Listen, leave this place now, and will overlook your intrusion." Even though all his senses told him to say such things, Arrif still stated without realizing the massive danger they were both involved in.
