"We're sorry." Both Miko and Hachiman apologized, embarrassed.
"You shouldn't be, Miko-Chan, but Monkeyface, on the other hand, should be." Hakai gazed at him with a blank expression. "Let me tell you two a story..." He said while looking back down to the cup, realizing that he had run out of tea. He politely handed the cup to Miko.
"Second?" She asked him while the pair stared into the eyes of each other. Silence crept into the mood as Hakai just gazed at her, unbreakable, she started blushing, yet he kept looking deep into her soul, which caused her to look away.
"Hey, Hakai, you're scaring her." Hachiman pushed him slightly as he started to see that he was making Miko uncomfortable.
"Moron, that's how a woman will immediately lose interest." So Hachiman thought to himself, although he was in the wrong.
Looking over at Miko, she seemed like she enjoyed it. "Oi, Miko, you can't be serious." He placed his hand on her shoulder to catch her attention.
"Oh, sorry." She apologized to Hachi while starting to pour tea for Hakai.
"Here, Haki-Kun." She held out the cup in his direction with both her hands.
"Hmm," He accepted it without a single word uttered. Instead, he seemed troubled, afraid, and lost.
"Hey, is everything okay?" Hachiman asked him while Hakai slowly turned his head over.
"Ye-yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He uttered unconvincingly. "These memories that over time have been coming back to me, torturing me, and outright made a tool of," Hakai explained with a twisted face. "The High Heavens and every last one who sided with them is watching me, laughing at me, mocking me." He slowly uttered to the shocked Hachiman and Miko. "Listen, you guys. I was long a slave than a God." Hakai said while he twitched in anger. "Rules this and rules that the high heaven's nourished with the concentrated positive energy flow. Yet, they gave me this vessel." He explained while looking directly at them.
"Hey, do you know why I hate the High Heavens? Do you know who I truly was before my fall?" HE asked the pair with a twisted chuckle.
"Hey, Hakai-" Uttered Hachiman, reaching out his arm to calm him down, yet it only resulted in a roar. Slapping away Hachiman's arm, he continued. "They are the most corrupt form of unison. Ugly and one-sided, they use the humans and us for entertainment." Hakai said while his eyes displayed utter disgust. "Long ago, I was born from a wish made from a twisted heart. A heart porting negativity, however, positivity. A heart who wished for his enemies' destruction inhumanly. However, he also wished for such wish in the hope of protecting his loved ones." He finally opened up to the two with an utterly fearful face. "Thus, I, The God of Destruction, came to exist. I never asked for any of this, but accepting such wishes now is a duty. Even though I am stripped of my title and given anew, I am and forever will be a creation of destruction, one born from Mother Negative and Father Positive." He went deeper into his story, in which he only had fragmented pieces put together.
"No way..." Miko uttered in disbelief
"No way, They never told me such things..." Hachiman's expression was much more severe. Hachi's caught in a storm of distrust of the High Heavens he held dearly.
"Long after my existence, my name grew, my shrine flourished. However, the blood and agony I held in my hands haunted me. Despite that, I created a Takamagahara, where I established the belief of peace in eternity." His eyes narrowed. "My people found faith and hope in me, and as we expanded beyond the realm of humans, we found eternity in one another." He explained with a slight unapparent smile, remembering the faces of his people who stood to believe in him.
"Nonetheless, that didn't last long. The Seven Dark Lords, Satan, Shinigami, Hades, and the others tempted me to join their side. In the revolt against such atrocities, a spark of negativity caused me to destroy all who lay before me. Eternity crumbled in my hands, the High Heavens as in atonement for my sins came to the divine punishment of making me a weak Warrior of Humanity as they considered extinction was an easy way out." He explained as tears built in his eyes.
"So, destroying Destruction comes at a high cost even for the High Heavens to consider," Hachiman spoke as tears in his eyes became obvious. "I'm sorry..." Miko held Hachiman's shoulder as his tears flowed.
"Hah, it's not you guy's fault. After all, my journey here is to do the same as I did in the past. I still hold to my faith in peace in eternity. I still want to have a Takamagahara where all souls can rest and expand to live as they please." His eyes lit up as he explained.
"Haki-Kun?" Miko screamed as his head fell into the pillow.
"I'm sorry, Miko, Hachi, for being so scary right now..." He apologized before he fell asleep.
"No way..." Miko uttered, looking at his innocent and beautiful face while crying. "He endured all of that?" She asked her lord while finding out that he was also secretly crying. Her eyes widened, "Master?" She said under her breath slowly.
After some time, the two stood outside the room, closing the sliding door. Hachiman looked over to Miko. "I'm sorry, please, look after Hakai for me," Hachi stated.
"Don't be, of course, I will," Miko said while shaking her head sideways in respect.
"Now then, the time for my mission has finally come. I promise to bring down the Seven Dark Lords and their entirety!" He thought ahead with a focused expression while walking down the hall and away from Miko. "An evolved New Type Spirit will attack a home in central Tokyo, huh?" Hachiman recalled the details of the mission as he clenched his fists.
