Sarah, who was now in front of her brother's room, eagerly knocked on the door.
"What!"
An irritated tone was heard from inside, but as soon as Sarah claimed it's her, the door soon opened.
"He's here, Ahmed." Sarah said excitedly.
"He, who?" Ahmed asked with a calm expression.
His sister just disturbed his sleep.
"Drake. Don't tell me you don't remember him. I even mentioned to you 2 months ago that he's back in town and I would try to reach him." Sarah gave him a disappointed look.
Well, they all have a lot on their mind to keep track of a childhood friend that most certainly doesn't care.
Sarah is the obsessed one.
Ahmed flows along anyway, opening his mouth in a O shape and that actually makes his sister excited.
She hit his shoulder in a hurry, urging him to go dress up, as he was only putting on his short.
Not being allowed to say anything, he was pushed inside, while Sarah waited outside the door.
"Drake, Drake, Drake…. Who's that?" The poor brother tried to recall who exactly that was, since they have lots of friends.
But he wasn't planning to let his sister down by claiming he cannot remember.
Being a father of two boys and an attention craving wife already took half of his brain cells.
He was out in a few minutes and putting on a black knee length trouser and a white singlet.
"Let's go." Sarah dragged him along and soon, they got to the living room and saw Drake walking towards the passageway that led to the servant quarter, as well as the kitchen.
Sarah smiled brightly.
Was he looking for me? She thought.
Drake knew it's insane the way he acted, chasing after a maid that clearly didn't want any trouble.
He was actually glad someone stopped him, because if he should use his head and stop lusting over the beautiful lady, he should realize what trouble would come to the maid if Sarah knew he's attracted to her, while he had just rejected Sarah's advances a while ago.
He was a sharp man and quickly turned the situation around.
He put his hands in his trouser's pocket and smiled at the siblings.
Obviously, the man Sarah claimed he couldn't wait and would be happy to see him, looked like he was trying to recall his face.
Feeling is mutual by the way, because Drake was trying to remember who he was.
There are many of them, so he couldn't even recall his name.
"I thought I was abandoned to drink tea alone." Drake lied and moved towards them.
Sarah quickly hopped to Drake's side and expected them to remember each other and do some boy's greeting.
So awkward. Drake thought.
Men would always be men and don't have to go all dramatic.
What if they didn't really remember each other?
They shook hands and exchanged cliche greetings, like 'how are you, man' and all.
Sarah felt like they are back to when they are kids and looked super happy.
They went to sit down and Ahmed screamed 'Ayana'.
Lola came instead, claiming Ayana is using the restroom, but in reality, the girl refused to leave the still emotional Morgana and Lola had promised to help, since she walked in on them hugging in the kitchen.
She had thought they were lesbians, so she wasn't really shocked.
"Bring one more glass." Ahmed said to Lola and she left.
Drake's mind was not with their conversation at all.
Ahmed had soon recalled Drake and the conversation was now more intense and comfortable.
They talked about his life overseas and Drake congratulated him on getting married and had kids.
"You seem pretty distracted. Is there something wrong?" Sarah couldn't help but asked, as she was all over him to not notice.
Drake scratched his head. "Nothing, just checking out the modernity of the house." He said and the siblings chuckled.
"Let's just say my dad is obsessed." Ahmed said, shaking his head.
The man refused to move house like his destiny was buried there.
Sarah nodded in agreement to his brother's reasoning.
'I need to find a way to have a talk with Morgana.' Drake thought, but how?
How would he get Sarah to remain here, while he gets to go and look for Morgana?
Hmm…
Think Drake.
You're cunning and this is your chance. She's the most beautiful one you've ever seen.
Use your skill here.
He was battling himself inside, but asked the siblings where their parents were to keep the conversation going, even though it's getting very boring now.
"They went out on a vacation and would be back the day after tomorrow. They will be happy to see you." Sarah said and Drake could tell Ahmed was thinking the same thing he's thinking right now.
Another awkward meeting, where they would be forced to recall someone insignificant.
Drake wouldn't have entertained Sarah's invite, if she hadn't been in contact with him ever since he travelled.
She called to check on him most times and sometimes, asked to play games together…..
Wait game!
Perfect!
He thought, as an idea popped up.
"Been a long time since we played together. Any games to play, while continuing our chat over?" He proposed, and it seems Sarah would be happy if he suggested they strip naked….
Wait, why am I thinking this way?
He questioned himself as he felt goosebumps at the thought of all three of them naked.
Gosh! Creepy!
"Let's play a Ludo game. We play that a lot online." Sarah said and Drake knew that would be her recommendation anyway.
Ahmed also agreed and to Drake's excitement, Sarah called, "Morgana!"
