Chapter 3 - Devious Encounter

Third POV:

Golden eyes shimmer as the sun meets his hue. Coldness and power were crept into his gaze as his jaw tighten to measure the amount of force to use.

"Easy there mate. You might want to reconsider that movement." the black long hair with deep voice nervously chuckled as he steps back.

Blonde hair one then laughed in amused ended up shaking his head. "Ruke, Luther! Enough with it. The sun is about to perish. We need to go."

Ruke, the golden-eyed smirked. Letting his fist relax and something about his eyes change. Luther with black long hair joined him by putting his arms on Ruke's shoulder.

They have the same height but Ruke's body is more built than Luther's.

"Scared ?" They said in unison.

The blonde hair with ocean eyes then laughed sarcastically then glared at them. "Never."

Ruke grins while Luther laughed shaking his head. "Seattle you need to get laid! You're too uptight."

Seattle's eyebrow flickers with Luther's comment. "Oh, don't start Luther."

Ruke brushed off Luther's arm then fixed his golden collar. He stands straight and his gaze turns back cold as soon as the bickering ended.

Seattle and Luther then standstill to pay respect for someone higher than them.

"Son let my men guide you throughout your hunting." said with concern. As the thousand-year-old man but with a face of a middle-aged man in his thirties kindly gazes at his nephew, Ruke. His brown deep eyes meet Ruke's golden one.

Ruke smiled with his Uncle's kindness and concern slightly tapped his shoulder and uttered. "Don't worry Uncle, my mates are with me."

Ruke's aura is as dark as his hue. His golden eyes are both cold as ice, empty as deserted land. And his voice is as deep as the ocean when he speaks, full of power and diction. Superiority is what his presence screams.

The men behind Ruke's Uncle bow their heads as soon as they came to view. Their nervousness seems to falter as one of them is slightly shaking.

Who wouldn't? Especially one of the heartless and coldest existing amongst vampires is in front of them.

"We'll go now," Ruke remarks then started to walk. His uncle nodded in agreement staring at his nephew's companion. Then his gaze stopped at Seattle suddenly his aura changed.

Luther followed the same with Seattle but soon to stop when he felt the gaze from behind.

His ocean gazes upon the bewildered person in front of him. But ignored as soon as he heard Luther calling out for him.

They continued their travel to the forest. It became a habit to wander especially when there's a lot to hunt.

"You seem nervous Seattle." Ruke broke the silence as soon as his gaze wander around. Seattle cleared his throat then looked beside Ruke.

"I am not. It's just something's off as soon as we came here. And this time, it's different." he whispered in his last sentence.

"Don't tell me you're one of the men who's affected by our soon-to-be heir of King? Hmm?" Luther playfully said then attacked him. Seattle didn't even budge but successful at dodging every attack Luther gave.

Luther's eyes lit fire when he saw that Seattle's shaking his head and that only means one thing. He seems bored. So he pushed his limits by taking another step and pester him even more.

"Oh, how about you plant something evil behind our back? Is that what it is?"

Seattle scowls then he took his turn to teach him a lesson with one blow. Luther ended up on the ground with heavy breath and blood on his mouth.

"You lack the sense of humor, Mate" Seattle seriously uttered emphasizing the last word while gazing down on Luther who turned red into madness.

Ruke silently glances at them. And as soon as he's about to step forward. He noticed that something's indeed wrong.

"Seattle! Luther, position." Ruke seriously muttered and his face darkened when he saw that Luther have knock over again to the ground, not just some ground.

It's a bloody one.

"Bloody hell, Luther!" Seattle screamed in anger when he witnessed the conflict that occurs.

Luther's eyes widened. His breath starts to grow heavily. He never felt more terrified in his existence. Not until this, his figure was stepped into something severe in someone's territory.

Unfortunately not an ally, but a true enemy.

"Wolves." Luther nervously whispered as he froze in his position. The silver one is madly gritting its sharp teeth and within a second it flew through Luther's position.

Seattle then used his speed to be closer to him but then suddenly there's a silver wolf that attacks him.

Ruke heavily sighed and shake his head. He should have listened to Seattle in the first place. But instead, he crosses the borderline that's truly prohibited.

"Touch my men. You're all be damned." Ruke dangerously uttered as he held tightly the silver wolf by its neck.

The howling silver wolf he throws that attacks Luther makes their lives even more in danger.

Silver wolves suddenly storm from the trees, they position themselves any minute now they are ready to kill.

"But you broke the law." announced the person wearing Black Robe.

"It was an accident." Luther stuttered. Ruke's seems amused that his arrogance suddenly fades. Seattle on the other hand clench his fist.

"We don't accept excuses. Especially you immortals are greedy bastards."

"And that's it. Who said we follow laws?" Seattle's face darkened. And he smirked dangerously then glanced at Luther.

"We're going to have fun for a bit. Seems like they lack it." he continued. Then his ocean eyes, signal the golden one who is calmly watching them.

He nodded and that's Seattle and Luther's cue to attack. He gazes at the sky and soon witnesses the blood cast upon the gloomy moon.

His golden eyes explore the surrounding. And what caught his attention some wolves haven't transform yet they're wearing a black cloaks. He felt odd at that moment and once he sensed something getting closer he immediately tore his eyes apart and gaze coldly at wolves attacking him.

"Luther send a message and leave." Ruke ordered as soon as he took those wolves attacking Luther.

"Now!" Ruke screamed and protect whoever wolves come through Luther's way.

"Fuck!!" Seattle groaned in pain when a sharp bow flicked on his shoulder. Ruke's golden eyes form into bloodshot and used his speed to close their distance.

"T-the bow, p-poison." Seattle weakly said until his body weakened and he fell and now on his knees with a heavy breath while gritting his teeth.

"Now save yourself, leave me." Seattle whispered and push Ruke away. Ruke was furious even more by the sudden happenings.

"Hang on a bit. I'll get you out of here." Ruke then held his shoulder until he skillfully fought on every wolf's attack.

Seattle stands on his knees and tried to help but when a bow was about to hit him again. Ruke saw it and catch it himself. He then felt the unexplainable pain as if there's some acid that flows deeper on your veins draining you gradually, "Ruke!" Seattle's widened from shock. Guilt started to plaster but then he growls stopping the wolves.

"Damn.." Ruke muttered as his eyes clench slowly opened and that's where he laid eyes upon the strange red cloak behind the tree.

Ruke still tried fighting them but the fight with these Wolves seems so unending. He clenched his eyes once again as he felt his consciousness slipping away.

"Fuck you, you Mutts!" Ruke shouted and the leader of the wolves seemed not to like it.

"Now finish them off!" ordered by the leader of the pack.

Ruke uses all the strength that has left and search for Seattle. He then saw that his body was there, unconscious with his skin that's pale and looks lifeless than before.

He bowed his head and the pain he felt turn it into madness. He gaze up his eyes flickering into golden up to the bloodshot he has when he is transforming. Nothing could ever do him good if he just gives up.

So when there's another bow to shoot on his chest. Something strange happened that made everyone stunned.

"Sleep." some cold but softly lovely voice whispered on Ruke's before he fell unconscious.
