Cypher was forced to carry both Gallow and Cain back to the dormitory; the wound he had received had already been covered in the healing gel, but their bodies were soaked in it, and it was getting on Cypher. The entire walk there, Anna side-eyed him, and anytime he tried to catch her eye, she'd stare at him to the point he got uncomfortable with her judging, so he just avoided her eyes. When they finally arrived, Cypher realized he didn't know which room they owned, so he just placed both of them on the couch. Anna continued her disapproving looks to the end, all the way up until he went to take another shower.
Halfway through his bathe, someone began knocking on the door; Cypher stepped out of the shower and dripped himself off, then got dressed. When he finally turned off the shower, the sound of Anna's voice told him all he needed to know. When he opened the door, he saw the crazed eyes of Cain, who just turned their back and motioned for him to follow. The dormitory's walkout stopped when they reached Cypher training area, Gallow was already there, and Anna was behind Cypher. "You can just call it another legion sparring match." Cain tilted his head back as he spoke, then pointed at his neck and asked if Cypher would say.
Cypher just shook his head; after this, Cain reset his gaze and walked behind Cypher to guide Anna to the sidelines. Cypher positioned himself feet away from Gallow; he looked fatigued but fully healed. The gel still attached to his frame had been attempted to be removed but was still covering his b; Gallow tilted his head up and began stretching. After a few minutes, Cain called out and singled to start the match. Gallow generates multiple mana orbs behind his back, refusing to let Cypher have any chance to destroy them. Cypher stepped back and generated one of his own; he questioned precisely what he could do to avoid and defeat Gallow. It seemed that he had already made one for defeating Cypher; Gallow threw up his arms while running around Cypher. A gout of flame poured out of him, and Cypher was forced to block the attack with his body.
It seemed Gallow was planning on using attacks Cypher couldn't dodge, as the flames burned across his body, the feeling of a lightning strike passing over his left shoulder fightertend Cypher. Now he had to think, Gallows planned to destroy Cypher visual range, and it was working. The sound of crackling lighting went off multiple times, but Cypher was never hit in either one. He remembered something he shouldn't have forgotten; Gallow is just as blind as he is. Cypher wonders how Tyr managed to track down where Margoth was, but his mind was taken from his thoughts when a lighting strike grazed his abdomen. "How the hell is he keeping this flame burning?" Cypher spoke to himself and only then realized the oxygen was being burned up along with him.
The vacuum was pulling at Cypher frame, and his lungs were being crushed, but the females were no longer able to get close enough to him to burn his flesh. The flames dimmed, and Cypher was finally about to see the silhouette frame of Gallow through the fire; the mana orb Cypher had already made was destroyed. So in this heated vacuum, he created another; the sphere threatened to burst even when forming. The heat was just weak enough for the orb to stay alive, so he made four more to go with it; Cypher set their configuration and fired the blast-off. The lighting sparked as it left Cypher's hand and threatened to fizzle out; Cypher heart dropped when he saw the sight; memories of his first recoil scared everything out of him. And for whatever reason, his fear turned into him yelling to the core nature of his attack, "Wound burst."
The feeling of a massive recoil fails to take hold within Cypher, and the shot of lightning rips through the flames, releases a sizeable crackling cacophony and strikes out towards Gallow. The shadow Gallow cast hit the ground and rolled; Cypher wasted no time and rushed through the flames. The pain from the scorching heat drew a scream from him; he ignored the pain knowing that Anna was close to healing him if he was seriously injured. Gallow was picking himself up off the ground; blood poured from his wound, and black lighting sparked across his chest. Half of Cypher wanted to ask Gallow how it felt struck by necromancy; Gallow stood up and tried to generate another mana orb, but before he could, the secondary explosion from the attack denominated directly undeath the wounded area of the first. The blast blew out Gallows chest and sent black lightning jumping all over his body. Strangely Cypher watched as the healing gel seemed to consume the lighting sparking off of him.
Regardless, Gallow dropped to his knees and coughed up blood, and Cypher readied himself for a secondary attack. Just the burns from the mana fire were waste than a third-degree, and the pain was near nonexistent; that was only because his nerves had already been fired. Cypher grew nauseous, confused, and strangled anxious. Just the idea of how much pain he should be feeling was making him sick to his stomach, his vision began blurring, and his movements ceased. The lack of oxygen was a much greater toll than he could ever handle, and he blacked out right then and there.
The sight of the red pillow grew more and more detailed as the dream persisted, and this time the smell of decay was tolerable to Cypher, but it was still suffocating. Cypher weakly glanced around and yet couldn't see anything; he thought to himself about why he keeps having this same vision for every dream he's had in the last few weeks. Cypher woke hours later to find himself lying across his bed; the memories of what happened just made him sigh. At least this time, the blankets were not thrown over him, but that didn't seem to help as the pounds of gel were once again soaked into his clothing and bedsheets.
Once again, Cypher sighed but this time because he knew he had to clean his bedsheets instead of just changing his room. He stood and decided to worry about his bed later and clean himself up; Cypher walked out of his room into the living room. Cain and Anna were sitting on the couch watching what seemed like some movie, the smell of food being cooked flooded his nose. Cain turned and smiled at Cypher. "You finally up," Cypher loosely nodded his head; Anna turned and looked at Cypher only to turn around and ignore his presence. "Go clean that filth off of you; Gallow is cooking again." Cypher only shook his head with a smile plastered on his face, and the only thing he could think of was how right Anna was about this legion being crazed.
For the next six months, the Character's legion fought battle after battle, managing to not take a single loss in their tournament matches. Cypher spent his time training his magic and physical abilities; Cain and Gallow did the same; however, Cain and Gallow expanded all their capabilities except for a few sections. Cypher remained focused on mastering his configuration and his physical combat abilities. The three of them sparred once every few weeks to show off progress; Anna stayed near Cypher, and thankfully so. She lowered the chance of a guaranteed drawback and healed Cypher for every mistake he'd make. The legion grew stronger, but only the selective few bounds grew stronger.
