Anna walked within her legions dorm room, letting out a heavy sigh; after a while, she called out to Cypher, who after a while still didn't respond. Anna worries and tries to get the best of her, but she tries to keep her composure as she rushes towards Cypher´s room; pushing the door open, Anna is met with the sight of Cypher positioned against the wall, raising his eyes to meet her. "You're back." Anna nodded and walked over towards Cypher's bed and handed his plate to him; after Cypher accepted the dish, Ana sat on the edge of the bed debating whether or not she would tell Cypher about the encounter she just had; the only reason not to, which was a good reason, was because he'd most likely try to get up and speak with him or cause some other unknown problems that she couldn't foresee. Regardless, Anna decided to keep her mouth shut until every up and downside made itself known to her for the right decision to be made.
The two spent their time eating in relative silence until Cypher finished and decided to attempt to stretch; the involuntary action causes a host of problems that just cut down at Cypher, already weakening patience for his own body; after Anna made sure there was nothing wrong with Cypher other than his body retaliating at his actions. "Anna," Cypher called out to her as she repositioned herself back on the edge of his bed, her head turned towards him though her face had another worried look shown mostly in her eyes. "Yes?" She gave a simple response, and Cypher did the same. "Do you remember when I spoke to you about learning how to utilize my healing ability," Anna nodded, and Cypher continued, "Do you train your healing ability?" Anna looked confused at his broken thoughts flowing through him with no real sense of rhyme or reason, but Anna answered him regardless. "Not really."
After she spoke those words, Cypher just relaxed his features, "That woman you spoke to is Steigend's healer correct," Anna just shrugged her shoulders at the question and spoke, "What are you getting at." Cypher smiled at her as he parted his lips, "I want you to train with Steigend's legion." Anna's eyes widened more so in confusion than surprise, "Why." The question caught Cypher off guard because he couldn't remember eminently, though, after a while, he finally spoke. "Hopefully, Gallow and Cain both attracted a secondary message from Tyr, and it's an event, and I don't want you to follow me and fall behind." Anna sat in silence and dropped her gaze onto the bed as she thought over Cypher's words; they had truth to them whether and that didn't go over Anna's head, and after a long while, Anna returned the smile Cypher gave and spoke. "Good idea Cypher." Both he and Anna's smiles grew, though Cypher hid an emotion best kept to himself.
Cain and Gallow both stretched their sore muscles and felt the all too familiar since relief washed over them, "How far do you think we're behind him?" Cain let himself lean to the point of falling entirely on his back from his sitting position; the soft and scorched dirt comforted and made him regret his decision; regardless, he didn't miss a beat in answering Gallow. "I have no idea, though he can't progress as he is, so now's the time to play catch up," Gallow helped raise Cain to his feet. "And don't get it confused, what he didn't place him above us, it was just the fact he could do it." Gallow snickers and nodded his head at his best friend's refusal to admit defeat. The area they both cleared out was five times that of Cypher training area, but the feeling permeated was less than half of what Cypher did. Somehow the scorched earth seemed artificial and unnecessary; maybe it was because they were going about training in the complete opposite direction that Cypher did, or perhaps it was because they just weren't him, or it could be that until they trained themselves until they recoiled they would never approach the heights Cypher had.
Tyr stretched the major artery in his right arm, the vein protesting the action and torn at the movement; Tyr stared down at his limb with a loosely depressed expression full of malaise and bore his finger into his skin, tearing the wall between him and the blood clot underneath. The feeling of pulling the clotted mass outside of his body felt like his nerves were screaming as loud as they could even as their throats ruptured, and yet Tyr still didn't understand what he was doing; he wasn't even paying attention to the sight before him. All he registered was that this kept his mind from itself, even as that voice tried its best to speak to him. Blood poured down his arm and leaked onto his floor; the rhythm made his mind even more distant than it was before. That was until his mind cleared itself, and all the feelings he was ignoring washed over him, and even then, it still took a few long silent breaths before he finally healed himself.
Rosas rolled in her shared bed as her phone went off; the sun had risen several hours ago, and as expected, there was no sign of Steigend; however, the sight of who had messaged her brought a smile to her face. The nice girl accompanying the Characters legion leader, Cypher, had finally decided enough time had passed to say hello. Rosas saw no reason to waste time and answer Anna as soon as she found a response to her question, "My leader decided it would be a good idea if I trained under you; what do you think?" Rosas smiled at the girl's brazen personality; it was something she wished she had. "I think your leader is quite careless and charming; I'd be happy to help you, Anna." Rosas held the phone above her chest and watched as the next text came in from Anna less than a minute later; the response widened her smile and warmed her heart. "Thank you, Rosas."
The remaining months would pass; some things stay the same but a lot of changes. Like before, the Character's legion fought battle after battle, managing to not take a single loss in their tournament matches, other than Cypher, who could not compete in his matches for the following five months following his match with Tyr. Interest Cypher spent his time training the idea of mana orbs creation and doing his best to strengthen his physical body after Anna allowed him to do so; he was incapable of using his magic without risking an immediate recoil which only begun to fade the days leading up to his departure from the academy, though his spirits were completely renewed when his mother began to text him two weeks before he was set to head back home. The voice thankfully never found a need to speak to him, though as he regained his strength a passive smell of decay always filled his nose everything he attempted to use his magic. Cain and Gallow did the same as before; however, Cain and Gallow expanded all their capabilities unlike how they did before. Their training mirrored Cypher's insane methods for half of the month before the academy allotted time away. However, after Gallow near recoil, they decided to go back to their original methods choosing to no longer chase after Cypher.
Anna stayed near Cypher, and thankfully so, though this time she'd leave for weeks on end only to return from a few days. She never remained around Cypher long enough for him to even conversate with her, she had grown distant beyond belief, and there was nothing Cypher could nor wanted to do about it. Cypher spent a lot of his time running and walking the academy ground as much as he could and only rarely tried to release a very weak variant of his signature lighting attack, though now with beast's words ringing through his head, the thought of his capabilities just disappointed him. Thankfully, the creature had no other words to share with him. The character's legion had won the fourth most points out of all the teams, all because of Cypher, of which he didn't let go unrecognized, at least to himself; However, no one in the legion cared enough to speak about except Cain's light jokes at Cypher experiences, regardless they had more than enough points to keep their legion together.
Cypher woke early the morning the carriages were set to arrive and packed the little he had brought with him to the academy; after he exited his room, he saw his legion all waiting on him while going through various movies on the television, "Hurry up and sit down, we need to figure out what to watch before we leave." Cypher smirked at Cain's words and joined them, choosing to sit on the elongated couch rather than his usual spot. The hours passed, and they managed to get through two entire movies before they had decided to leave; the walk down was only somber in Anna's eyes, and no one saw it fit to amuse her in her troubles. As they exited the door building, they took a deep breath and walked towards the designated Carriage meant to take them home. Cypher, Cain, Gallow, and Anna each stepped into the carriage; the driver voiced his complaints about them being late though even after they had all entered, it seemed like they were still waiting for another. Almost another hour passed, and Gallow finally had enough; he stood and prepared to open the door. As he reached for the handle, the door swung open, and the sight of Tyr met everyone's gaze; everyone froze except Cypher, who just laughed to himself. Gallow stood blocking the doorway entrance until Tyr finally spoke, his question sounding more like a statement. "Could you please move?"
