Mr. Kori looks at enju.
"Heh interesting, how'd you know?" Mr. Kori seems to have started drawing circles.
"W-well after seeing those blue shots, along... along with what I can remember I think magic is possible... but I still can't believe it. The reason is because, it goes past all logic! Yet with magic I guess logic doesn't exist. How do you do it?" Enju takes a slow step back, preparing to run.
"It's not about how. It's about if, just moments ago I used almost a tenth of my magic trying to help you escape. A tenth is almost a whole year's worth of magic, I would cast more but I need to be conservative with it." He continues adding more and more magic circles.
"Wouldn't that take up magic? Drawing those fancy circles?" Enju relaxes her feet.
"Not really due to a small reason, I'm not activating these circles, they're just theoretical magic circles for generating magic by using the air around us and concentrating. Remember what I said about a years worth, I've lived here for six years. Doing the math that should've taken up more magic correct?" He seems like he's a fan-boy when it comes to magic.
"Mhmm?"
"Well if I concentrate hard enough I can turn the air into magic and store it in me for further use. The only issue is that this takes a while and isn't worth all too much for the effort. But this converter with these magic circles implemented should do it automatically and so setting it anywhere would create a magic rich area so that you can collect these more easily." So... immersed in this...
"Then why can't you make it?"
"Well simple, I'm not a craftsman. I've only built the concept but I'll need to take a while to make such an elaborate machine, along with the fact that I'll need a little more magicule." He sits in a chair and looks at Enju. "Do you believe in me?"
"Y-yes but why use your magic in class? When I took a picture?" Enju moves close to him standing above him.
"Well I felt like wanting to show off and make a lie showing my expertise in filming, but I'm not smart enough to make such a useless machine." Hes swaying in his chair again with his legs crisscrossed on the chair seat. "Besides I just want to make people admire me for something else besides magic."
"What do you mean? People would love to have such powers. Even with such a small amount, people would go crazy over this type of stuff." Enju is admiring the machine and circles at a much closer range.
"Heh you see I'm not talking about this world, I already know people would go insane over this and admire my power but at the same time that would be my only definition as a person. I want to become famous but failed once already with people taking my credit." He looks a lot like a child with how he's sitting, his entire body is older than Enju but it's like his soul is that of a child who wants recognition from someone else. Probably best Enju doesn't try to pry anymore.
"Say what do you mean by other world?" Enju goes to sits on the desk in front of him.
"I mean what I say, I'm not from this world. Came here to look for my master as there was a trace of her here. Although it's been six years here and I still haven't found her. Basically I've given up I miss her but she's probably dead or forgotten about me. I mean to her I was only a guard that she taught a few times, a real cold one she is but I thought she cared about me." He drops his legs down and stands back up. "Man with all this time I have on my hands I've decided that it would be nice to teach people something I enjoy. Say have you gotten my homework done?"
"Home...work?" Enju tries remembering. "Wasn't the homework to take a picture of action? Using the third rules?"
"You've forgotten didn't you? Hah and here I thought you were a great student." He wipes the board clean and starts cleaning the room. "Can't be giving the janitor more work especially when it's my fault, I'll give you a pass if you help me clean."
Enju immediately hops up and starts helping. Eventually the entire room is cleaned up and tidy. Now for the split walls and marks.
"How would we clean those up?" Enju points the the half destroyed walls and debris.
"Guess you can't help it." He walks up to the walls and creates a different magic circle, with a much curvier style than the one before. She feels a little tingle in the air and soon the entire wall is seemingly coming back together, like josuke's stand.
"W-wow... this is fantasy... I want to see more, it's just like in those cool action books and mangas." Enju smiles excitedly, what if those imaginations... aren't just imaginations. Then what happened in my seven years that I couldn't remember.
"Mr. Kori, how would one travel from your world to this world?"
"It's complicated, but it'll take a ton of magicule, then you'll need to set up extra complicated circles and make a portal to here. Once here, you don't have much magicule as the air isn't as rich in magicule but to substitute magicule by using science is interesting. If you want to go from this world to my world however... be an issue as I don't fully understand science yet but it seems to be behind magic advancement just because you can't make a portal."
"..."
"Darn... I just really... Really want to get away from this boring life. I want adventure not assignments that don't contribute to my dream."
"What is your dream?" Mr. Kori is seen getting on his knees to clean out the bottom of his desk.
"To become a chef and beat everyone at cooking even my father!" Enju smiles with a sparkle in her eyes while standing tall and proud.
"Then how would going to my world benefit you?" He's seen pausing for a moment.
"Well not only going to your world but traveling the world! Tasting and learning such foods" She smiles even more proudly.
Mr. Kori stands up. "It's good to have dreams while you're young..." He starts looking around the classroom again, cleaning. "Shouldn't you start heading home?"
"But you're interesting and besides my dad gets home innnnnnn...." she looks at the clock. "In an hour."
"Look again." He points to the hands on the clock, it's not moving.
"Oh... well cya Mr. Kori!" Enju picks up her backpack and her camera pouch and starts running.
"I can take you back home if you want."
"It's alright my house is close anyways." She keeps running. Once again however, she sees a kid. Standing down the sidewalk, staring at her. His silver fluff of hair sticks out, his arm sticks out and make a finger gun. He acts like he's shooting the finger gun before blowing on the tip of his finger, his shadow envelopes his body and all she last saw was a frown with tired eyes.
She quickly runs back, analyzing what she just witnessed, gun aimed at her, tired eyes... nothing makes sense anymore.
She knocks on her door, and is greeted by her father who quickly hugs her. "Where were you? I was worried something would happen."
"I was out for extra class and club activities, I want to do the best I can this year." Only in one class though... she thought
"Hah that's my girl! Say you want to go and get some freezies as a reward for trying your best?" Her father smiles. A true smile, rarely does she ever see him not putting on a fake front. It's relaxing to see him this way.
"H-how about your money?"
"I worked extra just for an occasion like this." Again his smile with his deep assuring voice makes Enju feel safe, as if nothing bad will happen.
"Thank you then..." To work more for me who lied.
I'm sorry
"Then we head to the gas station!" Loud and proud her father marches to his car. Enju hops in with him and soon they're off.
Enju and her father reaches the gas station, walking out and to the store Enju walks in. She grabs a cup with her father following along, but something feels amiss. Three men in masks walk in, they grab Enju and point guns at her, her father, and the cashier.
The world feels like blur... faces black out. She sees a figure holding out his hand towards Enju, before flinching with something hitting his right shoulder, but he keeps moving. Running towards Enju still, Enju's body is completely frozen. Frozen in complete fear and horror as the man who she calls father falls, bleeding. She feels something pierce her back, her body explodes in a burst of warm pain.
She crawls however. Through the burning pain in her back. Through her muscles that feel like they're about to give up. Every part of her body is moving to her father. She closes her eyes and starts applying pressure on his wound. If someone is gonna survive is going to be you... so please, please live. I'm sorry for having been a burden to you, if I wasn't here they you wouldn't have needed to help me...
Her bleeding starts catching up however and her pained body starts giving out. Survive...
She finds herself walking, waking on a long white pathway while her surrounding is completely dark. The white pathway looks like an endless void, soon she comes across a girl who looks exactly like her.
Shes walking opposite to Enju, Enju tries to give chase to the other Enju but she bumps her head into an invisible wall, the path in front of her continues to build while behind her, is constantly decaying. Enju finds her pathway also decaying and soon starts running.
She finds herself entering a bright white light. It's blinding but wakes up to her hand covering the sun, upon the blue bright sky. She's laying down on the ground, she starts feeling her face and body. It feels different? Much tougher? She also finds earrings that she takes off. It's a crescent moon with stars floating around the moon, it's a nice white with black stars surrounding it. She also finds a staff next to where she woke up. There's a camp site here along with a large spherical oval thing in the middle. Along with a used campfire near the egg, she starts looking around for a mirror or reflection.
Then immediately starts feeling her hair it's silky to the touch but most importantly...
