I woke up all groggy. I disliked having to wake up so early. I dragged myself out of the warmth of my bed and headed towards my bathroom to take a nice warm shower.
"Eh-". I stopped. That's right, I had the break-in this morning and the bathroom became a crime scene.
"Dammit." I muttered under my breath as I sulked. I went back to my room and pulled out some clothes from my closet. A simple shirt and jeans will do fine for today, I wasn't in the mood to put in any effort. I headed to my dresser and pick up my circular red hairbrush. I violently untangled my hair. I'm not going to be in a good mood today now am I?
"Ugh." My grudges escaped my mouth. "My hair is a bit frizzy now." I huffed. I guess it won't matter it'll be fine. I wrapped my now untangled brown hair into a simple ponytail. Now was to come over my next problem. Do I smell? I usually take a shower in the morning but since I can't take one it's a potential problem. I brought my hand up to my face, four of my dainty fingers supporting my chin, while my index tapped on my cheekbone. I thought for a few seconds till it hit me. A light spray of perfume should cover up any stink.
My right hand moved for my face towards the right corner of my dresser where my few perfumes were displayed. I grabbed one and gave it a whiff. It wasn't something pleasant for school. I put it down and repeated the process. I reached the final one. It was in a small bottle, looked a bit old but still usable. I opened the cap with a click and gave it a nice smell. The aroma was suitable for school. The aroma was pleasant but not too strong. I read the worn-out label.
"Cherry Blossom" I read slowly. I don't remember buying this, perhaps it was a gift. Might as well put it to good use. I gave two sprays on either side of my shirt.
"Hopefully this will be ok." I mumbled. I gave myself a small sniff. It's not too strong, the teachers probably won't complain. I cleaned up my slightly messy room and grabbed the leftover goldfish crackers I had. I munched on the rest of the pack and headed off for school.

I was approaching the gates until I noticed a familiar raven-haired figure waving. It was Samuel. As nice as he was I'm not in the mood to deal with more people than I already have to.
"Good morning Amai." He raised his hand awkwardly as he greeted me.
"Morning," I replied in a stoic tone. I simply walked pass him.
"Hey wait up." I said as he walked closer. I turn around and said it to him straight.
"Look I know you're trying to greet me, but I'm not in the best of mood right now. Please leave me alone for today." I said as kindly but as straight forward as I was capable of. I turned forward and walked away without hearing any response.
I made my way to class and completed it like any normal day.

I was walking through the hallway, but yet again like earlier, I see the raven-haired boy. He was approaching me once more. I sucked in a deep breath and prepped myself. Until a girl stepped his vision. A fair, brunette, with light brown eyes, sparks a conversation with me. I realized she was a girl in my class, I barley noticed. I was a bit shocked but it got Samuel to go away.
"Thank you." I sighed.
"No prob, my name is Kyllie. And yours is?" Kyllie said cooly.
"Amai. Names Amai." I replied.
"It didn't look like you were having fun in class. So I thought maybe me approaching you would lighten up your day." She smiled.
"Well, you were right." I replied.
"Hey, have you had lunch yet?" She asked.
"No, not yet." I replied slightly confused.
"Oh ok, in that case, do you want to eat with my boyfriend and me?" She asked kinda excited.
"Oh sure. I don't have many friends here." I replied as we walked toward the cafeteria. I guess having lunch with new people won't be bad.

From there Kyllie introduced me to her boyfriend Katsu. He was a decent guy. Funny but a bit aggressive. Overall I had a nice time eating with them. I felt my tiredness slip away.

After School
Kyllie ended up dragging me to the first soccer game of the school year. Our team was decent. I noticed some of our players from my classes or people I pass by often. I watched the game in awe. A few moments later Kyllie taps my shoulder.
"Woah look at that dude, he's really fast!" She exclaimed. She pointed to the fast ginger slickly scoring into the goal.
I chuckled at how excited she was. I look down. It was Eddie, I had completely forgotten he was playing soccer this year. But Kyllie was right, he was fast. The ginger zoomed through most of the enemy players. It was exciting to watch.

After the Game
Kyllie had left before me with her boyfriend. If I remember correctly they were gonna go watch a movie. I walked down the side walk, the setting sun's rays softly caressing my skin.
I stopped by the grocery store to pick up food for a week or two. But I ended up buying instant ramen and a few ingredients for real food. I had already finished my purchase until I spotted familiar puffy orange hair. The owner happened to be Eddie. I decided to approach him.
"Hi." I said as I tapped his shoulder.
He turned around. "Oh hey Amai!" He turned and responded with a smile.
"I watched your game, it was good. You were basically the star of the whole thing. You zoomed passed everyone and shot so many goals!" I exaggerated.
"Oh thank you!" He responded as he pulled his sleeve up revealing a watch. He observed it for a second. "I'm sorry to cut this short but I have homework to do, I spent a majority of my time prepping for the the game I didn't have time to do most of it." He apologized and zoomed off at the speed of light. I simply sighed and walked home, it was a bit unsettling since it was pretty dark already.

It was about 7 or 8 pm when I got home. School ended at 3 pm, then the game started at 4 and went on till 6ish. So it was a bit late already. The house was a bit chilly, the bathroom door was locked. I made myself a chicken-flavored cup of ramen. It was probably the biggest meal I had within the last week. I gobbled the noodles down and threw away my cup.
Since I'm unable to go into my shower I'll just have to change and go to sleep. I refuse to use the public one downstairs, but the toilets were pretty clean so I'd be fine. I puffed up my cheeks in boredom. I'll sleep.
I stripped my clothing and slipped into my comfy PJ's. I checked my doors and windows to see if they were locked. I plugged my phone in. Slipped into my sheets and finally prayed nothing would happen tonight.
Fortunately, I was able to peacefully fall asleep in the comfort of my bed.
