Scarlet wakes up on an open field circled by some trees, but they are too far away, under the shining moon and stars. Some things are strange aside the fakeness of everything.
First, the key isn't at her anymore, second, she is all clean and smelling good.
Oh and, another little detail is that the field is on fire, a baby blue color, even stranger is that it doesn't burn at all, it's soft and warm, like a blanket.
"What is happening?!! When did i entered the door, what should i do now!!?" the girl screams to the sky.
She decides the best choice is to sit and try to calm down. With her mind clear, everything should come together.
Scarlet lies down on the grass, watching the starts while replaying all the events after entering the tower.
After some time, she calms down and thinks about the song on the radio
"It's some kind of clue, it must lead to the next test... If i understand corectly i shouldn't trust anyone and i must find the east..."
She sits on her butt, cross legged, in a position for meditation she doesn't remember learning about. Everything just feels so natural about it, she takes deep breaths, in and out, with her thoughts clear.
Scarlet feels how the wind blows around, how the fire warms her. But she feels another warmth, it's stronger, it comes from inside of her.
It's feels like she's spreading her senses everywere, further and further, knowing everything that moves or breaths everywhere.
The warmth burns her, it doesn't hurt, the pain is just the illusion created by the brain, but when you control the brain, you control the pain.
Scarlet feels something calling for her, she feels the north, the west, the south, and the east.
The east is where she must go, she found it.
The girl takes one more deep breath feeling the warmth fade away and a strong wind blowing by, putting off all the fire around.
She gets up and heads toward the east.
"I feel like this must be the final test, i want to finish this as fast as i can!" thinks Scarlet nearing the trees and entering what seems to be some forest.
She starts running until she reaches a river, and across the river
"This is...The village?" says the girl trembling
She puts herself together and nears the water, she slowly reaches it with her feet, but she slips on the grass and falls in the cold water.
Scarlet tries to fight the currents but to no avail so she goes with the flow.
She closes her eyes and thinks about the texture of the water and how she wants to change it.
But someone calls her name
"This voice..." she opens her eyes to see Thomas reaching for her
"Thomas!" the girl screams grabbing his hand to get out of the water
"What were you doing Scarlet? Our parents are waiting for us, tonight our families dine together, remember?"
"Thomas, wh-"
"No time for excuses, you really scared me! Don't ever run away like that, ok?"
The boy kisses her nose and takes her hand, leading her home
Scarlet gets teary eyed and starts sobbing
Thomas stops and turns to hug her
"Hey there, i saved you, everything is fine..." he says patting her head
"You know i love you, so much~" the boy wishpers in Scarlet's ear, his breath tickling her skin.
The girl looks at the red haired boy, admiring his handsome feauters. His piercing red eyes, his hair a little long tied in a cute low ponytail at the back of his head, his defined jawline and cute pointy nose.
Thomas lets go and wipes her tears with his thumbs then takes her hand and continues walking
Scarlet calms down but she is still super confused, she remembers this day, this is the day she found out that Thomas is sick.
As she admires her surroundings, for a moment, the village looked like it's all on fire, a real red fire, but it turns back to normal quickly so the girl doesn't think about it too much.
Finnaly, the two of them arrive at Scarlet's house and enter in it.
