Scarlet wakes up the next morning feeling like everything that ever happened to her after Thomas died was just a fever dream, but here she is, in a room with no windows, on a stranger's bed.
The girl looks to where Trystan should be sleeping, but the spot is empty "I guess it's morning..." she thinks getting up and checking her bracelet then walking out of the room. To her surprise, the living room is also empty but the candles are light up "Strange...."
"My throat is dry, I need some water. I wonder where's the kitchen...." Scarlet takes a candle and enters a long, narrow hallway with two doors on each wall, at the end of the hallway is a staircase that goes downstairs. She hears noises and goes down the stairs to find a smaller living room filled with shadow mans relaxing, between them are Trystan and Theo laughing and chatting.
The girl freezes on spot but remembers she can't get caught so she slowly turns around and steps on the stairs. The wood creaks under her feet, the sound very loud and clear.
"Who is she?" one of the mans asks
"Wait, she's the witch!!" another says and from there everyone goes crazy

Scarlet bolts up from the bed with a gasp "What, the, fuck?"
The girl calms down and notices that Trystan is missing again "This must have been a prediction, like I had at the initiation" she thinks getting up and checking her bracelet then walking out of the room.
"I guess I shouldn't go downstairs" she says taking a candle and going to the first room on the right from the hallway. The girl tries the door but it's locked so she goes to the first room on the left, same. She also tries the other two doors but they are also locked.
Defeated, Scarlet returns in the big living room and sits at the table putting down the candle. The fire lights up the table and she sees the corner of paper sticking from under her elbow.
The girl takes the piece of paper and reads it in her mind "Don't go downstairs and wait for us"
"Genius...." she murmurs annoyed "Leave me without food or water while you chill with your friends downstairs, the friends who want me dead..."
Scarlet gets up but forgets the candle and her foot gets stuck in something. The girl falls with a thud but on her hands so she doesn't get hurt badly. She stays still, listening if someone heard her .
"Did you hear that?" asks someone, the girl holds her breath for a long moment
"What, your fart? I just wanted not to embarrass you..." and the whole room bursts laughing
"I recognize this voice, Trystan....."
Scarlet gets up and sees a hole in the carpet, where her foot got stuck, she drags the carpet aside and finds a hole in the floor. She blows away some dust and sees the hole is actually a handle for a little door, the girl opens the door slowly without making any noise but it's too dark to see so she takes the candle from the table and looks inside.
The wizardess finds a large ring with keys around it and takes it closing the door and putting the candle on the table. She drags the carpet back and goes to try the six keys, she unlocks the first door on the right and finds out is the kitchen.
"As much as I am hungry, I'm curious about the other rooms" she thinks closing the door but not locking it.
The girl unlocks the first door on left and sees it's the bathroom "Who the fuck locks their bathroom?" she thinks closing it and locking it then goes to the other two rooms.
The one on the right is a laundry room and the left one is like a ritual room, with all kinds of crystals, dried flowers in jars and other curious things.
Scarlet decides to not snoop around too much and leaves the room locking it like she did with the other ones except the kitchen.
The girl takes the key for kitchen off of the ring and puts the ring back at it's place, where she found it, then she goes to the kitchen and looks for food.
While she searches, someone comes up behind her
"Whatcha doin', good lookin'~"
"Looking for reasons not to go crazy" says Scarlet struggling to keep a straight face
"Well, I'll give you a reason" says the elf taking some leaves from one of the cupboards
"How come I didn't saw these?"
"You probably were too hungry to see them"
"Fair enough" says the girl letting a smile ghost her lips
Theo enters the kitchen while Trystan cooks
"Hello you two, we have some things to do today" he says taking a seat at the small table
"Yes Scarlet, we found out something" adds Trystan taking a seat too
The girl takes a seat herself and listens to the boys .
