The group finally makes it to the Desert Border. "Finally! I'm so worn out that my feet feels crusty." Doctor An says falling to the beginning of a road that led to their next destination. "So how long will it take to get to Monster Keep?" Princess Ara ask. Doctor An stares at the two faires, they looked as if they didn't break a single sweat. "Why does it look like you two didn't just walk a desert?" He asks. In fact they seemed to look refreshed and it was pissing him off, "isn't it obvious?" King Jero asks as if it was a normal thing. "We're nature faries, our kind is at the top of those little Earth fairies. We can pretty much stand any type of condition. By the way you are sweating pretty hard." Princess Ara says leaning closer to him.
He turns to Kila who stood looking at the map, not even she looked to be sweaty. She didn't even seemed fazed from almost becoming a sacrifice. Even that time where she almost died by the hands of a demon she stayed completely calm, it really seemed like she was the monster here. "By the way isn't Monster Keep known for it's legendary treasure?" Princess Ara asks as she hands Doctor An the rest of the water left. Kila perks up at the word treasure, he could pratically see her ears enlarging at this moment. "Ah right, but it's pretty dangerous to even think about going after it. So many people died from the trip already." King Jero says matter of factly.
"I just thought of a great idea." Kila says rerolling the map and stuffing it away. Doctor An suddenly had a really bad feeling, King Jero and Princess Ara look over at her curiously. "How about we go claim that treasure?" She ask pointing up and smiling. Bad feeling confirmed. Here he thought she could care less about money or treasure, after all she did turn it down that one time. [The one time where she was offered a huge sum from the Emperor of Yan Empire]. "Don't look at me like that, I'd be an idiot not to. Besides we could use some treasure right now." She says. Doctor An wish at this moment, that he did not agree to follow her anywhere. He suddenly misses his courthouse at the Imperial Palace, "can I just say that this idea is what's stupid." He mutters.
Princess Ara and King Jero didn't seem bothered by this at all. Just one moer place, could it have harmed them to take a break from all the dangerous acts? "Are you not willing?" Princess Ara asks. Willing? Not a chance! If he could go back without worrying about the Desert or things like that shadow demon? Then he'd be glad to leave them to their own devices. He looks over at Kila....actually he couldn't leave a child here with these two. He didn't know them like that, and what if they were just acting nice. As soon as he leaves they'll change their personalities. [His imagination has gotten the better of him that he's now imagining Princess Ara and King Jero holding silverware and looking evily at Kila]. Doctor An couldn't let that happen, which is why he's still here.
"Whatever let's just get it over with, I'm already tired of this." he says with a sigh. There was no point in him refusing or even trying to get them to change their mind. He was already used to not having any say in the matter whatsoever. If the trip didn't involve the word Monster in it then he'd be happy to go looking for treasure. "You look like you want to say something?" King Jero says with an all-knowing smirk. Doctor An smiles though he could feel the quiver in his lips as he tries not to give anything away, "nope, I have nothing to say. Let's just go." He says as he walks past them down the bendy road. Kila was oblivious to what was going on, her mind was on the possible treasure they would find. She was also real close to getting a chance to finally cure her scars, after that she will relax a while and take the time to check the state of her meridians.
The four journeys the long and bedy road, there was not a single village nor creature that appeared as they travelled. "I'm so hungry I could eat a damn dragon." Princess Ara cries as they finally came to another rest. Kila pulles out some hunted bunnies and they atopped to set up camp, "are you sure stopping in this open field a good idea?" He asks as she began to smoke the bunnies. "Not even, but what does it matter? If we ran into anything we could just cook it." King Jero says. Doctor An frowns at him, "are all faries this eccentric?" He asks. King Jero laughs heartedly beforeanswering, "not a chance, I'm of a more superior race."
