It took him three times to realize Kila was avoiding him. Everytime he came even a little close she would run in the other direction. King Jero could feel his impatience building by the minute. "Hey, what you do to Kila?" Doctor An asks coming upbeside him and peeking to where Kila and Princess Ara walked a bit ahead of them. King Jero frowns, that's what he likes to know. Ever since that time sitting together by th tree, she started acting like this. If he didn't know any better he would think that she was....afraid.
*Stares hard at Kila's back*
Princess Ara glances back at her brother worriedly then over at Kila who was her usual expressionless self. It's obvious that something happened between the two, but Princess Ara wasn't sure what it was. Could her brother have made a move on Kila and scared her away? Princess Ara felt a headache coming along. If she knew that her brother was going o fall in love so quickly like this, she'd have been more prepared to give advice. But....Kila was not a simple woman. She does not react like most, so advice about a woman like her would be hard to give. She's a mystery this one. And it's obviously she was hiding something besides her name.
Kila does her best to ignore the feeling that she was constantly getting stared at. Let this be over with already. The longer she has to have these weird feelings the longer she just may act on them. Princess Ara grabs her sleeve and suddenly quickens their pace. "What is it?" She ask her as Princess Ara finally lets go. "I'm not sure. Hey Kila? Do you consider me as your friend? I mean I know we only known you for a week or so, but I feel like we've gotten close." Princess Ara turns to her, hands to her hips. Kila was a bit shocked at this. She considered her a friend? "I mean, I definitely say we are friendly. But what is this about, Princess Ara?" She asks.
Princess Ara pouts, "friendly, huh? If so how long will we be Princess Ara or King Jero to you? Won't you drop the honorifics?" She looks back and blows out a breath. Kila was feeling a bit guilty. she was so used to being alone that in reality she didn't consider any of them her friends. Not even the gullible and cowardly Doctor An. He managed to save her so many times, and yet she didn't ever say thank you. "I...I'm sorry." She says feeling this dark loneliness washing over her. It seems she was just now realizing how lonely she's been. Ara scratches the back of her neck, "I wasn't trying to make you feel bad. Just how about opening yourself up a bit? We want to know about your past since we are friendly." Ara says.
Her past. If only it was that easy, because she wasn't sure which past to even tell. The one where she lived in modern times as a famous male doctor? Or the one where she was reincarnated as a loser female doctor who was shuned by her entire family all the way to the bottom? Kicked out on the curb, poisoned, and the original Kilang burnt alive by her jealous cousin? How could she explain that she took over her body and her being alive had something to do with higher ups? Yeah that could never leave her mouth. If it did, won't they just call her a monster? Shun her just like the people she once considered her family?
Thinking about that, she didn't want that. Imagining the looks of pure hatred from them, it was something she wanted to avoid. Ara notices the sadness in her expression. It was the first time Kila showed any type of emotion, real emotions. "I'll give you all the time you need. Oh and also, that guy he's clumsy. Yeah he's good-looking, and even big and muscular. But he's kind of innocent, as a Fairy King he never once met a woman like you. Instead of avoiding him. You should stand strong and tell him how you feel." Ara says with a smile.
Kila blinks. How she feels? She felt her cheeks go hot. What the hell was she saying?! Raising her hands to defend herself Kila felt herself panicking. "I don't..."
She began to deny it but Ara cut her off immediately. "If that is so, then tell him yourself." She says as she turns and say nothing else. Tell him? Tell him what? Tell him that she was interested a bit, but because she's originally male she couldn't let herself get any closer? That conversation would only lead her straight to the crazy house! Ugh. It seems even though she tried her best to hide it, even Ara saw past the wall she built around her heart.
Let her return everything to the original owner of this body, if when she returns to Yuu Empire and she still had this feeling...then maybe. For all she knew these feelings were not true, and it goes away when they return to the empire. If that happens then there will be no need to let them to continue by her side...right?
