Arcin stood up as she let water drip from her hair for a moment before pulling the drain plug. She pulled back the curtain and grabbed a towel as she stepped out of the bathtub. She ran her hand through her hair letting out a sigh. Wrapping a towel around her hair before wrapping one around her body. Arcin then brushed her teeth before leaving the bathroom.
Unlike her normal blank expressionless face, she had a pensive look. Realizing she forgot to draw the curtain of the bedroom the moment she stepped out of the bathroom she quickly walked over to the and closed them as she glared at the man across from her that was staring at the 'view'. With the blinds drawn she turned on the desk light before sitting down.
Since she was waiting for her hair to dry a little more before brushing it she grabbed one of the books that Fulgur left/dropped off in her room here for her. Like Arcin suspected it had some very useful and valuable information, which she was only able to read due to her language skill that allowed her to understand any language.
The books were about temples, masters, and magic. The first book was about the temples and element masters. The second book was pure to help her with casting magic with her capability to use other elements.
Arcin opened up the first book and begun to read it.
[The temples are places of worship for certain elemental gods. Near these temples that the element it represents the energy of that element is much stronger. Due to this people often go to train in these areas that smaller recognized shrines are made to these elements. People are unable to go to the main location of these temples themselves however and the location of these temples is generally unknown to mortals as such the smaller shrines were made that had a weaker but similar effect to the land.
The main temples and entrances to these temples are hidden to the people for good reason. For the most, the energy within these places is extremely dense and hazardous to a mortal like us. The main temples are also the anchor of the god to the world of Medies and as such it is a passageway, one where the god of that element uses and tend to appear in that location. These places are also apparently a pillar point of the world, and part of the seal holding Mundus, according to some ancient texts.
Due to these factors long ago most if not all of the element gods hide their main temple from mortal eyes along with the entrance. The Gods also had their pastels guard these locations to protect them from threats.
There are only two gods that do not have any form of temple those being the ones of origin Animus the 'god' of spirit and Nex the 'god' of aether.
These 'gods' or higher beings are different from the main elemental 'gods' as they have few restrictions in comparison as they are extremely powerful and capable of many things. Due to their immense power and the main concept of their power they never made Apostles and generally dealt with issues themselves when they needed intervention. The though reason for this is that no ordinary being would be capable of being the Apostle as it is thought the apostle essentially becomes like a walking temple of sorts and would have great effect on the world around them.
It's also believed that since they are the origin of everything in the worlds they created Apostles of these higher beings would have no restrictions in what they could do making it possible for them t-…] It had cut off about that fact as if someone stopped them leaving the thought hanging.
[Temples themselves have many useful applications that the average person would like to use. The energy around the temples are useful for training for those that wish to travel the world. It's been found that in using the temples increases ones strength. Currently we are unsure of the reason for this but it is extremely interesting and is the reason I begun to research the temples themselves.
It's also said that the main temples hold immense knowledge varying in information many of which is unknown information of the past and potentially information from the gods varying depending on the god. These temples are said to have many unexplainable things inside.] Arcin paused looking at that line.
"'I wonder. You know was this planned? Did Animus know… no they probably did. I think they have things planned to motivate me to want to get to the temples for the information since I would be unaffected by it as an apostle myself. So I'm guessing that the temples are the place that Animus wants me to go. But what am I supposed to do… let alone where are the main temples?'" Arcin thought she leaned back in the chair letting out a hum. "'Fulgur so far was extremely helpful despite initially being a 'stalker'.'" She let out a sigh as she turned her head back to the book in her hand.
[For where the temple are located I'm not entirely sure however in each of the 4 leads of Medies there should be a temple and a main temple at that.] The book them went on about the temples a little more going on about theories and such.
The book at that point was more talking on the theories, and ideas of reasons behind the main temples being hidden from the main public some building on points previously mentioned. It was something Arcin wasn't really looking for though the thoughts on the matter themselves was kind interesting since it was brought about from ancient text and speculation. Aside from that there was nothing really all the important for Arcin to know that was.
However once it started to talk about the people that call themselves elemental masters that was a slightly different story.
