Sam ponders within his heart, 'Thomas has not spoken about a lot of things, but he has changed a lot since he has gotten married. We all know that there is no relationship between them.
But then his words come to mind, 'If they don't have a relationship, how is it he could say his wife is a virgin?
He has never lied to me before, but we all know this marriage was a compromise, yet they continue to save each other.'
Hearing the men in the pasture praise her for the excellent job she did with the young bull and the mother.
And how she visited each of the pens checking on the animals ensuring that the young suckling gets nursed.'
Recalling her brother's words at that moment. 'His father will miss her because she takes care of all his animals.
She has not only made the sacrifice of this marriage. But she is also seeking Thomas's interest and it seems they both love animals.'
Hearing the Pastor recognize the Fortune name today makes me so proud. Realizing what she said that day after the wedding was right.
'Carrying the family name is not all but upkeeping the name. My family has failed to do that for so many years. Now all this is happening again because of her doing, and she is God-fearing.
Aliza is so right she will make this family proud. And being in church today with her was such a joy and comfort in her company.
It was such a relief from all the gossiping at the wedding. Seeing how angry Thomas was when that gentleman lambasted her.
Calling her all those filthy names and using those foul languages disrespecting everyone. He didn't care about the outcome when he rushed to hurt him.
I have never seen him control his rage so quickly as when this child held him back. And this morning he left home half four?
He did not tell his Mother or me that he was traveling or had any meetings. We were not aware of any plans, he had made so where has he gone?
And from what Christa asked this morning, she hasn't the faintest idea where he is either?'
Returning to the van, "Here you go dad, this milk drink will keep you up until lunch is ready."
Sam glance at her as he drives home in silence, thinking, 'In the almost two months she lives at the house.
We never really communicate much, nor does she sit and have dinner with us. Looking at her she seems to be lost in her thoughts. Her face looks a bit pale.
'Is she going to be sick?' Noticing her eyes closed. I had barely driven into the garage when she opens the door and walks inside going straight to her room.

"Oh God, I thank you I am home. I could not keep up the stomach ache any longer. Hurrying to the washroom. Christa felt she will faint any minute.
Taking some deep breaths as she releases herself. The way the inside was paining as though it was on fire.
Thinking it was the same feeling earlier after I left Church and she didn't want to embarrass herself.
That was why she had to stop at the supermarket to use the washroom. Thank God the girl was kind enough to help her to get the use of their washroom.'
"Lord, am I coming down with some sort of virus? Oh Lord Jesus, help me, this pain is unbearable."
Undressing she took a hot bath then put on a house dress. Getting a slight release, recalling Dad's words.
"Aren't you looking special," Having no choice I took my bible, whispering, "If dad said I look special, then others must have thought the same thing."
Reading Psalm one twenty-one, then started to pray. With the Bible resting on her stomach, Christa continues praying.
Feeling the cold hand on her forehead, opening her eyes. "Mom, what is wrong?"
"Sam, said you look unwell."
"I am good, I just drink a milk drink and it made me upset, but, I am good now."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am fine, I was just praying but thanks for asking."
"Christa, you will tell us if something is wrong?"
"Mom, there's no need to worry, I am fine, just ask Dad to take the few items I bought and rest them in the kitchen please."
Looking at her leave the room, resting her hand on her stomach. Glad that the cramp has left only leaving a slight pain.
"If I lie quietly it will go away, I have never seen mom this concern about me before.
I know it's wrong to hide the truth from them, but I still don't trust any of them. And now the devil is coming to interfere with me. I know he is a liar and a thief, he thinks that his evil eyes will take me.
But right now I declare and decree that the blood of Jesus will destroy your evil works Satan."
With my hand resting on my stomach. 'I continue to apply the blood of Jesus until total release came then fell asleep.
The room was dark when I open my eyes, thinking he might have returned home already. "Where could he have gone?"
Switching on the reading lamp then went into the kitchen. Tempted to drink a glass of milk. "If I do, it might start with diarrhea all over again. And I am already feeling so weak."
Taking her time but the hunger had slightly weakened her. Which causes her knee to feel so shaky.
Christa slowly prepared some bodi with tomatoes, steamed it down, and made a bake.
"If I had bread I could eat that but the bread they sell has milk. Maybe if I mix my bread flour, I could finish before sleep comes?"
While the bodi was steaming and the baked dough soaking. Christa mixes the flour for bread with warm water to soak.
Then she went to her room to get her bible and took a book on prayer, then return to the kitchen.
