Chapter 17 - Am I Stalking Her?

"So, I think we should work on getting closer to Dexter next week. We'll have more time that way." Kellian explained to Carly.

"Okay." Carly smiled happily.

"Continuing our conversation from before... Do we share all our classes?" Kellian tilted her head.

"No, but at least one person from your group is in my class at all times," Carly replied.

"Perfect!" Kellian was happy that her plan could work in a worst-case scenario.

"You're really are planning to protect me, huh?" Carly questioned this behaviour because she was never treated like this before.

"Of Course I am. If you decide to leave, your you're going to need help." Kellian smile cheerfully.

"Thank you." Carly wore a shy smile.

The day went by quickly. It was already lunch. Carly sat will Kellian and the boys.

"Why's she here?" Ryder asked glaring at Carly.

"She's my friend now," Kellian replied.

Ryder stared at Kellian for a bit before saying, "Whatever. It's not my business."

Leo knew what happened yesterday and could tell Kellian was still sad. So after Kellian and Carly left he came up with a plan.

"We should do something after school," Leo suggested.

"Why?" Ryder was confused, Leo doesn't usually ask to go places.

"To cheer Kellian up!" Leo explained.

"She looks fine to me," Ryder stated.

"Dexter, didn't she look a bit down today?" Leo asked for back up.

Dexter nodded.

"Fine. We'll do something." Ryder rolled his eyes.

"Don't be too mean to her this time, okay? We're trying to cheer her up." Leo stated.

"No promises." Ryder took a sip of his milk.

Leo sighed.

Meanwhile.

"Ein~~~" Heather called out to Ein in an overly cutesy voice.

"What?"

"It's been forever since we've been on a date...please... Pleaseeeee~~~" She began begging.

"I'll think about it if you stop talking like that," Ein stated.

"Yay! I can't wait." She screamed excitedly then ran off.

'I never said I was taking you on a date! Ugh. I'm just... not in the mood. Kellian's been ruining my mood lately. It's like she feels no remorse for what she did to me! And seeing her all happy with those pricks pisses me off!!! But why? I thought I stopped caring about her. Sigh. Maybe this date will be good for me after all.'

After School.

Leo was tasked with inviting Kellian since he suggested the idea. On his way, he called his sister, "Lia?"

"Baby brother! How are you??? Why are you calling???" Lia asked excitedly.

"I'm fine. I called to tell you that I'll be late today." Leo explained.

"What???? You're ditching our movie night because of those wolves!?" Lia complained.

"No! Please don't misunderstand. One of my friends is really sad and I want to cheer them up." Leo tried to calm her down.

"You only have two friends. Those wolves." Lia pouted angrily.

"She's a new friend."

"She!?" Lia was flabbergasted.

"Uhh... yeah..."

Lia squealed like a fangirl.

"My ears," Leo complained.

"But... How?" Lia asked confused.

"I don't know," Leo replied.

"What do you mean you don't know!? You're terrified of girls! It took me forever to get you used to me. So how did you become friends with her so quickly????" Lia questioned, wanting more detailed.

"Like I said I don't know. I was able to talk to her so I tried really hard to get her to be our friends because she's the only girl I've been to talk to since... you know." Leo explained.

"Yeah... So... Are you going to ask her out?" Lia asked excitedly.

"Where did that come from!?" Leo was shocked.

"Oh I don't know, maybe it's the whole "she's the only girl I can be close to" thing. To me, it sounds like she's fated to be your wife!" Lia squealed.

"You can keep living in your fantasy world. The real world doesn't work like that." Leo stated.

"But you're hot and have a good personality why would she reject you?" Lia asked.

"That's not the issue! We just met. Besides... there are still limitations. I may be able to talk to her but I can't get too close or touch her. Besides, I'm not interested in dating. I was just hoping that she could help me...get over this stupid trauma stuff."

"Oh... That's mean no hugging, kissing and other intimate stuff..." Lia sounded disappointed.

"That's what you take from all I told you!?"

"No, I heard everything. But depending on her isn't going to help your trauma. It's going to cause a false feeling of affection which would be more like an addiction because you're using her and a lot of misunderstandings between you two. I say you just become her friend and ask her to help you when you feel truly comfortable with telling her everything. That way the misunderstandings wouldn't happen and you may actually fall for her. Wink. Wink." Lia advised.

"Thanks for the advice but... What the heck is that ending!? You just completely ruined your advice!"

"Fine. I'll stop. But teasing you is just so fun!" She said excitedly.

"Bye..."

"Wait! Send me a picture of her when you get the chance."

"Why?" Leo asked.

"You wouldn't like the answer so let's just say I want to see this special girl that has become friends with my brother." Lias smiled innocently.

"I can feel your puppy dog face all the from here. Fine. Bye."

"Bye, baby brother. Love you!"

"...Love you too." Leo hung up.

'Now I need to find Kellian and tell her about our plan.'

"Kellian!"

Kellian was talking with Carly. Hearing Leo's voice they both turned their attention to him.

"Oh, Hi Leondre." Carly greeted.

Leo waved but kept his distance from her.

"Hey. You were looking for me?" Kellian asked.

"We wanted to hang out in the town today. So we were wondering if you would like to come?"

"Oh but Carly..." Kellian didn't want to abandon Carly.

"It's fine, go ahead. You do seem a bit down. Maybe it'll cheer you up! Call me later, okay?" Carly smiled then left.

"Okay. Let's go, Leo." Kellian stated. "Are you scared of Carly?"

"Huh?"

"You were avoiding her after she greeted you."

"No. I was just very shocked." Leo replied.

"You avoided her at lunch too."

"Ummmm... I'm just not used to new people..."

"But wasn't I new when we met?" Kellian asked.

"Yeah but that's one of the reasons I wanted to be friends. I was attracted you and that isn't normal." Leo explained.

"Oh, I see. So I'm different for some reason?" Kellian asked.

"Pretty much."

"Okay. So what are we going to do in town?"

"Probably watch a movie then eat dinner at a restaurant," Leo replied.

"Alright."

"We should probably hurry up. The guys are waiting for us." Leo stated, speeding up his walking speed.

Eventually, they began running to where the others were.

"Is that a chauffeur?" Kellian asked noticing a man dressed in a fancy suit waiting at a fancy car where the others were.

"Yeah. He's Ryder's chauffeur because mine was busy." Leo stated casually.

'These spoiled brats! Having a chauffeur taking you to the city is not normal! So don't talk like it's equal to taking a taxi!!!' Kellian mentally complained.

"Young master. It seems everyone is here but... Who is the girl?" The chauffeur asked confused.

Ryder glared at the chauffeur.

"Right! It's none of my business. I will not tell the mistress about this."

"Good." Ryder's lips curled up to reveal a charming yet evil smile that sent shivers up the chauffeur's spine.

'Note to self. The young master is scarier than the mistress. It would be best to try to please him from now on.' The chauffeur swiped the cold sweat off his forehead.

After one hour they arrived at the theatre. They bought a much of snacks and only too popcorns cause Ryder was paying and wanted to torture Leo by forcing him to share with Kellian.

Which totally backfired, since Leo ended up sharing with Dexter because Leo has mastered the art of tugging upon heartstrings to get what he wants.

Ryder yelled at Kellian every time their hands accidentally touched. Which led to Kellian not eating any more popcorn. She ate all the snacks she was given then fell asleep... On Ryder's shoulder which made him complain.

Leo laughed as he found the scene quite cute. Kellian sleeping peacefully like a newborn baby and Ryder complaining about it the entire time was just too adorable in Leo's eyes. They reminded him of his sister and himself when they were little before they moved to the Werewolf Kingdom.

'Why the hell is she so comfortable with them!? She never went to the movies with me.' Ein complained as he watched them.

'Why's that stupid alpha showing off about her touching him??? Scream it a little louder why don't you.'

'Now she's sleeping on him! What the hell is going on!?'

"Babe, are you even watching the movie? Are the loud people distracting you??? I can report them." Heather stated, realizing Ein wasn't enjoying the movie.

"No, it's... fine."

"Well, I have to go to the bathroom. Be right back." She excused herself.

"Okay."

You may be wondering... "When did Ein and Heather get here???" Well...

"Nothing like an evening in the city to make a girl happy!" Heather said skipping happily.

"So, What were we doing first?" Ein asked.

"Dinner at a fancy restaurant!" Heather screamed.

Then Ein noticed Kellian and the guys coming out of an Audi A8 L extended then walking over to the movie theatre.

"We're going to the movie theatre," Ein said dragging Heather over. 'Why the hell does Ryder have so many cars!? Last week it was a BMW 7 series and before that, it was a Mercedes-Benz S600 Maybach and before that he had a... This guy owns too many luxurious cars!!! And why is Kellian with them!? She hates luxurious things! I must follow her!'

"What but we were gonna do that after dinner?" Heather complained.

"Mhmm. But I really want to watch a movie right now."

"Okay. Fine."

'What movie are they watching???' Ein watched them carefully. "We're going to watch The Invisible Man in cinema 3."

"That's awfully specific." Heather grew suspicious.

"It just interests me." Ein lied.

"Okay." But she chose to ignore her suspicions.

So now you know he stalked Kellian here.

'A stalker. Pfft. Wait...' Ein looked over at Kellian, 'Am I stalking her? But I'm not some creepy obsessive ex-boyfriend. I'm just trying to protect her... Yeah! She was my childhood best friend so I just want to protect her from the bad influence!! Yes, that's it!'

'What are they doing!? Are they playing pass around the donkey with her why do they keep pushing her onto each other!? And that coward has the nerve to touch her!? It pisses me off knowing someone that freaks out when a girl touches him touch poor sleeping Kellian like that.'

Ryder got tired of pushing her off him and Leo just pushing her back on, so he decided to wake her. By throwing ice cubes at her.

'Did that Alpha pick just throw ice cubes down her top!??!'

Kellian woke up upset and tossed her drink onto Ryder.

Ein couldn't hold back his laughter. He immediately got shushed.

When the guard came he kicked Kellian and the boys out. It really upset Ein that they were laughing the entire time they got kicked out.

"Babe let's go," Ein said wanting to follow them.

"Why? The movie isn't even over yet???" Heather was confused.

"Yes. But I'm lost those people completely distracted me." Ein lied.

"I knew it! Fine, let's go. But... you'll have to do something special in return." Heather smiled seductively.

"Fine, I'll take you shopping." Ein let out a sigh.

"Shopping!? I guess that will do instead." Heather said with a small smile.

"Let's eat."

"Alright."

They all went to an expensive luxury restaurant. Kellian was completely lost at all this and didn't know anything about it. After all, she had never been to a restaurant like this before because she had to be hiding from werewolves.

Leo ordered for her. They all got expensive food but Kellian got the most expensive and delicious food on the menu. The entire time Ein was a few tables across watching them from behind a menu.

"Babe!" Heather yelled.

"Huh?"

"What's up with you!? You've been acting off all evening! It feels like you're ignoring me!!" She continued.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Ein took a sip of his water.

"You've been acting strange. Especially now! You've been holding that menu up to your face since we got here. You're acting like you're stalking someone and don't want them to see you!!!" She screamed drawing the attention of people from some of the nearby tables.

"What??? No, I was just thinking."

"Thank goodness. For a second there, I thought you were checking out some other girl."

'I wasn't checking her out. I was just watching her, to make sure those pricks don't do anything to her.' Ein smiled, "Of course not. I don't cheat. I'm a loyal wolf."

"Then what were you thinking about?" Heather asked.

"...How...ummm... hot you are." Ein came up with an answer she'd like.

"Oh my gosh, You really know how to make a girl bashful."

Ein couldn't see what happened next since he was trying to keep his girlfriend happy.

'Why am I stalking Kellian? Is it really just to protect her? I had a massive crush on her when we were little. Could those feelings still be there? It doesn't matter she didn't like me and I have a girlfriend now. I should just leave her alone. It's quite late I should just take Heather shopping then head home.'

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Kellian leaving with the guys. 'It doesn't matter I have to get her away from those pricks!!! They don't deserve her if anyone does I dā€“ I mean I have to approve them first since her father's not around to do it anymore... But... How will I separate them?'

"Babe... You don't have to buy me clothes." Heather stated.

"Really?" Ein asked, surprised.

"No. But you seemed really bothered about something so let's put it off for now." Heather explained.

"Alright."

"Do you still want to come over to my place?" She asked.

"Of course. I couldn't completely ruin your special day." Ein smiled.

"You remembered! Thank you. You didn't get me a present though." She pouted.

"Yeah, the gift wouldn't arrive on time." Ein lied.

"Still order it and give it to me when you get it!" She said, excited to see what he'd get.

"Sure."

"But as punishment for giving me a late present. I want you to dress me in all the new clothes I got from my brother." Heather stated.

"Why do you like it when I dress you? Isn't it... I don't know... weird?" Ein asked.

"No. It makes me happy. It proves that I'm yours and yours alone and I... feel like it gives you something to look forward to when we get older!" Heather explained.

"That definitely isn't normal," Ein stated. 'I miss Kellian's innocence... and her kicking my ass every time I tried to peep when she was changing into her training outfit. I wonder if she can still beat me in a fight... She was always freakishly strong. I thought she'd look like a gorilla by now when I was little. Who knew she'd still be this small? It's kind of cute though.'

'That blue hair... She's been near us all day... Could it be that girl? I thought I showed her he was taken. Is she still trying to take him from me? Well, she's got another thing coming if she thinks I'll just give him up.' Heather smiled evilly.
