"Kellian opened the door and was immediately greeted by the principal.
"We've been waiting... Ms. Heart." Mrs. Jones, Amanda's mother and principal of Werewolf High said with a look of absolute disgust.
She completely changed when she noticed that Leo was there too, "Oh... Mr. Hamartia. Why are you here?"
"To make things fair as someone who knows what happened." He replied.
"But dear..." The principal said holding on Leo's arm causing him to pull away and be backed into a corner. "Aren't you uncomfortable? You're going to be in a room full of girls for a while. I think it's best you run along and–"
"No. I won't abandon Kellian."
"But she's also a gir–"
"I don't care. If I leave you'll all make her do whatever you want and she won't be able to talk back. I'm here to make sure this is completely fair and you're not punishing her just because you don't like her." Leo explained.
"That's the most you've her talked to me... But why does it have to be when you're standing up for that human brat." Mrs. Jones was both touched and pissed.
"Mom what did you say?" Amanda asked shocked.
"What?" Mrs. Jones was confused.
"That thing is a human???" Amanda was shocked.
"You didn't know?" Mrs. Jones asked confused.
Amanda began to grind her teeth. 'A disgusting human beat me!?!?'
'She's a human huh? She's smart and has werewolf connections... maybe I can use her.' Sally smirked.
'She's human? But she was born here... So that's why she got so mad. She's been unlucky since birth. She didn't do anything wrong if anything she's suffering for her parents! I was wrong... I need to apologize! She is a nice person after all.' Cally wanted to apologize.
"What happened?" Leo asked noticing that they had too many injuries compared to what Ryder described.
"That human you want to protect so bad happened." Mrs. Jones said as she sat down.
"I may have hurt Amanda but I barely hurt Cally and I never touched Sally! So how did they get that hurt???" Kellian thought aloud.
"Excuse me! I don't tolerate liars or bullies in my school."
"You sure about that? Those three are the biggest bullies in this school among the girls. And you don't seem to say anything when an omega is being bullied."
"Omegas are weak and it is their role to be picked on. I'm sure that they were only upholding the law. Once an omega is involved the rules are different." The principal explained.
"Oh? But technically Kellian's weaker than an omega. She's human." Leo stated.
"But look who's hurt."
"If an omega wins a fight the get promoted to a wolf of the lowest rank and the losing wolf becomes an omega."
"This. Is. Different! That thing probably cheated! You know how weak the humans are but they cheat to win fights against and even kill wolves." Mrs. Jones explained.
While Leo and the principal were arguing the principal's words triggered Kellian's memories. The memories of that day came rushing back like a sudden lightning bolt striking her.
The faucets Kellian worked hard to keep off broke and the tears came pouring out and she began hyperventilating.
"K-Kelly?" Leo asked, worried.
"She's crying because I'm right. After all, only guilty people cry in situations like this." The principal teased then laughed with her daughter.
"You're wrong!" Kellian yelled.
"What?" The principal asked annoyed.
"I would never touch anything like those weapons! I never want to be like those people... the people who took my father away from me... My...father... because... because..." Kellian stopped talking and just cried while mumbling, "It was my fault."
"Kelly..." Leo didn't know how to comfort her.
"What the hell was that about? So what if your father died because some useless humans killed him. Your father deserved it for being a useless–"
"Shut up. Don't disrespect the late Alpha." Mrs Jones commanded.
"W-what!?" Amanda yelled. "There's no way–"
"Of course he isn't her biological father that would be impossible. There's no way he'd give birth to a human. That disgrace is definitely her mother though. I can't believe Kian actually let that thing into our society and declared it his wife." Mrs Jones was obviously upset about something.
"Mom what are you talking about?" Amanda felt like her mother had lost her mind. 'How could Kellian be the daughter of an alpha? Even if she wasn't his he would have realized and had her killed!'
"I'm sorry... I've already said too much. That information is now classified. All you need to know is, don't disrespect her father and that this thing is utter garbage and doesn't deserve to live must less function in our society." Mrs Jones explained.
"As you said she's human. And she didn't use any tricks. So she couldn't possibly hurt werewolves this bad!" Leo defended.
"Are you calling my daughter a liar???" Mrs Jones was too mad, she didn't care about Leo's status anymore.
Leo's phone began to ring.
"You better hang up!" Mrs. Jones yelled immediately.
"But it's Ryder." Leo stated.
"You better answer!" Amanda yelled m
Leo answered the phone and put it on speaker. But as soon as he did Amanda yelled in a sugar coated voice, "Hello babe!"
"Is Amelia there?" Ryder ignored her.
"Who?" Leo was confused.
"The principal." Ryder replied.
"I'm here!" Amelia said excitedly.
"Good." Ryders lips curled into a devious smile.
"Amanda do you want to tell her or should I?" Ryder asked.
"Does this means you're finally going to marri–"
"I recovered the surveillance footage you deleted both from here and at the hospital. Do you still wanna play the innocent victim?" Ryder cut her off.
"W-what are you talking about?" Amanda asked nervously.
"I'm done talking to you. Amelia, I'll send you the footage." Ryder stated and the click of the keyboard could be heard. You could just imagine is fingers gliding over the keyboard at high speeds.
"No!" Amanda yelled. "Mom let her go."
"What?" Amelia was confused.
"Just let her leave. You too twins I want to talk to mom...alone." Amanda was defeated.
The situation was over. Ryder heard Amanda's words and hung up. His job was finished. After a minute he hit enter on the keyboard in front of him then went back to class.
"Well that was ummm... Kelly are you okay?" Leo could even finish what he was saying previously when he realized Kellian was still crying.
"My father was murdered and it was my fault... I was just reminded of that... what do you think?" Kellian asked between sobs.
"Oh... I don't know how to help. My father was a piece of trash so I couldn't care less what happened to him but if it were my sister I'd probably feel like you do." Leo stated and soon tears started to spill from his eyes as well.
"You idiot. Your sister is still alive why are you crying?" Kellian asked with a soft smile.
"The thought of losing her is enough to make me cry..." Leo answered.
"That insensitive." Kellian began to laugh.
"I don't know. You're the one that's laughing at me crying." Leo pouted.
"Come here." Kellian pulled Leo into a hug.
At first Leo was frozen in shock but her soft sobs made him want to comfort her so he hugged back.
"You know you smell really good." Leo muttered in between his sobs. That was probably one of the main reason he was okay with them hugging.
Her scent was like the warm love that radiates off a mother when she hugs her child. It was all because of her strong love for her father. Leo has a special gift that allows him to smell strong emotions although he is not completely aware of it.
Leo longed for that feeling of affection because he was never loved by either of his parents and thus cried while clinging onto Kellian because he knows he'll never feel that kind love. Soon they both fell to the floor hugging each other and crying their eyes out.
"What the heck?" People were perplexed by the strange action of crying in the middle of the hallway displayed by Kellian and Leo.
"Are they crying because...they got expelled?"
"Nope. They're just weirdos." Sally stated. 'Maybe she can't be useful after all.'
