"Have the carriages ready for my departure before sunrise," Lucian instructed one of his loyal followers, Elliot, as he got up from his bed and stood on the platform that raised the level of the bed.
Elliot was one of the few that knew Lucian before he became in power, though that never wavered his loyalty to the man. "Yes, milord," Elliot bowed slightly before exiting the room.
Lucian stepped down from the bed rise and onto the ground floor and walked over to the mirror in the grand master's bedroom. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before opening them again.
"Golden," Lucian whispered, calling out the current colour of his eye. He sighed before walking over to the side to pour himself a glass of alcohol. He had tried to change his eyes back to their normal red colour but his efforts were in vain.
