Chereads / Hands Up! / Chapter 3 - Zack Dobro

Chapter 3 - Zack Dobro

A rock flew through the window and broke the glass.

What was that? Did they mistook the apartment?

The possibility of it happening was pretty high, especially since such a thing had already happened.

Sarah picked it up and unfolded the paper attached.

"Don't you even think of killing him!"

It was strange how much it actually related to her.

Could she be the one ment to get the note?

She looked around and went to the window. There was nobody outside. They must have ran away right after throwing the rock. But who was it?

She threw a glance at the note.

No name, no sign, no nothing.

The only clue could be the handwriting, but she was unable to recognise it.

She stared at the paper, but it didn't help much.

Her eyes were just fixed on a small piece of paper with a really nice handwriting on.

Every second of not knowing the author of the note increased her irritation.

"Nevermind ... It must be some kid joking around. I have work to do!"

She threw the note in the bin and continued her research on her target.

He was quite interesting (at least from what she was given as information). His name was a bit unique - Zack Dobro. But this wasn't the only distinguishing thing. He was supposed to be a martial arts expert and his facial features could definitely be found attractive.

"Wait what?!"

Sarah snooped closer to the paper.

"No way?!"

There was written something a normal person would not expect to see.

"Job: Agent for FBI"

Sarah stood there as if she was frozen.

She couldn't believe her eyes. Now she was questioning whether the mission she was given had even the slightest possibility of being successful.

But it was her job. Worried or not, she had to complete the task.

She put the documents on the coffee table, went to the fridge and opened herself a can of soda. She sipped some and sat back on the couch.

She was calculating the perfect moment for her to act, but then she remembered she didn't even check where this person was going throughout the day.

So she opened her laptop and tracked his location.

As if things couldn't get any more complicated - the signal was really light so the only thing she now knew was that he was about a kilometre away.

"Ugrh... Why the f**k is he so hard to track!"

She slammed the laptop closed and tossed herself.

Nothing like this had ever happened to her and she even had cases with cyber geniuses who had the most powerful security on all their devices.

But even then she managed to get their exact location right away.

So how was it possible not to know this person's standing?

What was the thing which was fading the signal?

Was it because he is using the server of the FBI?

No that was impossible her mother had tought her how to hack the government, agents were not that different... Or were they?

There was only one way of finding him considered the circumstances...

She stood up angrily and headed to the exit.

She had to find him though the hard old school method - by searching for him on the streets.

The good thing was that she still had some idea of where he was. So she just took her phone with her and connected it to the laptop in order to keep tracking him.

Right now only one thing was for sure. This would turn out to be her hardest mission so far.
