The last couple of days passed rather fast. Sarah's whole attention was on the new information and barely payed attention to anything else. She ate only to stop the groaning of her stomach. Sleeping was also left aside. From time to time she was taking short naps, but almost all twenty-four hours of her days were spent in reading and memorizing the information in those books. At that point of time she took all kinds of tests as a way to get a "break" from her studies.
Still she wasn't out of her mind, so the night before the exam she had a good sleep and a proper meal.
If she didn't do so, she would have looked like a complete zombie with pale from the exhaustion face, large bags under her eyes, shivering hands and blue veins that have popped up, ready to tear her thin skin. In other, simpler words, she was going to be a terrifying view.
There were only three hours before the exam begins and Sarah finely woke up. The lack of sleep the last few days was making her want to stay in bed the whole day, but she was stronger than that primitive wish of her body. She stood up, stretched her arms and went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. The yogurt in the fridge became her breakfast and after being done with eating Sarah went to take her morning shower and brush her teeth.
While drying her hair she quickly reviewed all the information in her head and after making sure she had actually remembered it all a satisfied smile appeared on her face.
She looked at the clock.
"Sh*t! Only two hours left! And one is only for me to get to the school! Tempo Sarah, tempo!"
She took some random jeans and t-shirt, then put some pencils in her backpack and stormed out of her home.
As if the universe was going against her. There were thousands of traffic jams and at the end she was somehow forced to run to the exam in order to be there on time.
With almost no breath in her lungs, she finely arrived in the school building and had some difficulty with saying her name clearly to the security guard, who had a list of all the names of the students, who were going to be examined.
- Sa-sar-rah Zl-zlo.
- S s s… Sarah…Sarah Zlo. Ok you are in room 215. 2nd floor the third door left.
- Th-tahnk you.
She went to the marble steps and climbed them up to the second floor. Room 215 was a big classroom with about twenty seats, only six of them having a name tags. One of them was hers so she went up to the seat and sat there.
Two more people were in the room with her – a boy and a girl. The boy had brown hair and a bit of a corpulent figure. The girl was the complete opposite of him – skinny, tiny body and a blond, almost white hair. Both of them seemed really nervous and were intensely going through some books.
For the next couple of minutes the rest of the students came – a tall dark boy, a girl with glasses, almost as big as her face, and a slim, rich looking female student.
At exactly ten o'clock the teacher came in.
- In front of you are the exam papers. – said she – You have exactly one hour too finish it. Now, good luck.
Sarah looked at what she was just given. There were twenty pages and only sixty minutes! No time should be wasted!
