She was more than sure that he was testing her.
Now, more than ever she had to be super cautious of every single move she makes.
Her eyes fixed on him.
His face showed the youthfulness of an 18 years old teenager. His thin lips emphasized on his serious aura which spreads everywhere around him.
Something in his look made him seem unreachable and therefore not a single soul allowed itself to show any sort of cheerfulness when being in the nearby.
His eyes, deep as the ocean and dark as the night had a sharp, smart look and could easily make anyone feel uncomfortable with the bare minimum of effort.
Something in those eyes made their owner mysterious and highly desirable, but at the same time nobody dared to make even the slightest step against him.
At least that was what Sarah saw in him.
It is probably insignificant to say that he had a fit body too. Even though his clothes hid most of the sight, his muscular neck was on show as well as his long, strong arms.
His height, his muscles, which were hard to be hidden, his face. All that seemed perfect, but far too.
As if this person before her had popped out of a movie or a book. But he was real.
Not only was he real, he also had to be finished for good, by her.
That's why not even for a second did she allow herself to get into a daydream, but analyzed every little movement he made.
From the moment he entered the café she noticed how cold it was around him. His strict eyes quickly examined the surrounding and then fixed on Sarah, but not as if he was mesmerized by her beauty, but looking her up and down were making their conclusion about the girl in front of them.
They did the same with the waitress.
When they were reading the menu they didn't do just that, but checked the nearest tables.
He was definitely suspicious.
When the coffee came the first thing this young fellow did was to smell the liquid and then slightly sipped just so that he could make sure there was nothing funny in the taste.
Then he looked up at Sarah.
- So are you going to say something or will you only stare at me?
- Sorry, my mind wondered for a bit.
- And where was this mind of yours?
- Here and there, everywhere and nowhere. – was her answer.
- Interesting. – said he and sipped once again from his Americano.
- So what's your name? – she had to pretend like she didn't know that already.
- Zack. – he answered without changing the serious tone of his voice even a little bit – And your?
"Damn it! Now what?"
- Sarah.
"Thank goodness my parents gave me one of the most common names!"
- Nice to meet you Sarah.
- Same goes here – she added a little smile to her words. – How old are you?
- 18.
- Oh so you are only one year older than me!
- 17 I believe?
- Yes! It's so good that we are so close in age!
She hated that she had to act in such childish way, but wining this boy's trust was more important than anything right now.
- I guess. – he said, shrugging.
- Are you a senior in High school?
- Yes. Anyway I'm leaving now.
- Oh…okay… I hope we meet again! – said Sarah, but the only answer was the shutting door behind the boy after he left the café.
She tossed herself on the chair and almost didn't fall from it.
"UGRH! I hate myself!"
