Alan stared at Cindy in surprise.
Cindy: Can you see—What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Alan replied with a straight face, "you're too close. I have a wife whom I love very much".
Cindy moved away abruptly, "Oh sorry, I didn't mean it that way!!"
Alan:Pfft, just kidding.
Cindy: ??
Cindy: you don't have a wife?
Alan: Of course I do. I just didn't mean it THAT way.
Cindy: You really love to mess with people don't you?
Alan flipped his hair, "Tell me about it".
Cindy looked back at Alex's direction, "That's a nice way to flex your long hair. I hate it".
They took the seat a bit closer to Alex and Isabella to hear what they're talking about.
Alan bent closer to Cindy, "What do you think? Are they dating?"
Cindy: Nooo...
Cindy smiled hesitantly, "Why would Alex date someone SO SUDDENLY?"
'Or maybe he is...'
She bit her nails in frustration.
Alan: That doesn't look sudden though and stop doing that.
Cindy: What? They're just having a normal conversation like people who just met.
Alan: Body language girl, body language.
Cindy asked in frustration, "They're totally into each other aren't they!?"
Alan: Well... not really. That girl likes him but Alex is just casual about it.
Cindy: Wow, well one thing I know is that I should've studied psychology.

The waiter served Alex and Isabella's coffee then walked to Cindy's table. Alex noticed and instantly recognized Cindy. He looked at her from top to bottom and raised one of his eyebrows, 'Why is she here dressed up like that?'
Cindy's eyes met his and she quickly looked away, 'SH*T DID HE RECOGNIZE ME!?'
Waiter: What would you like to have, sir and madam?
Cindy murmured, "Death..."
Waiter: ...
Alan whispered to Cindy, "They aren't serving it. Do you want something else like coffee, brownies?"
Cindy rolled her eyes.
Cindy: Espresso please.
Alan: Lemon tea for me.
Waiter awkwardly replied, "okay, please wait for 5 minutes".
Cindy kept hiding her face from Alex. After the waiter left Alan asked, "Now what was that? And why are you hiding yourself like that?"
Cindy bent toward him and whispered, "Because Alex saw me!"
Alan: What?
Cindy: Yes! He was looking at me!
Alan: No sh*t!

Meanwhile, Alex wondered, 'Is she on a date with that guy? No, she is already married, she won't cheat on Matthew. Who is he?'
Isabella looked at Alex's perplexed face as she sipped her coffee. She cleared her throat, "I'm really sorry for acting like that before... I get very nervous when I meet someone for the first time..."
Alex: it's alright. I shouldn't have called you like that.
Isabella: I've heard Mr.Shephard has assigned you as well in the interview. We will meet more often now.
Alex: I'll be glad working with you.
Alex looked at Cindy's direction and gasped. Seeing his reaction, Isabella looked there and gasped harder, "Oh my God! What are they doing!?"
