Lane was training with the others as usual in the courtyard. It had been a month since they were summoned to that world. This time, the other students had found a use for him. He was used as a punching bag, well, why? Because Lane was the most patient of them all. He didn't even protest when the others started punching him on his guts.
'Oh no, not again,' Lane mumbled as a student punched him in his belly. Not because that Lane couldn't resist, but it was more because the students were forcing him to become a punching bag. He had two options when Kelly asked him to be a punching bag. He asked him to be a punching bag or Kelly would make him be a punching bag.
Kelly and the others were deadly serious about it. They were intimidating Lane with their huge weaponry. They were very scary, especially with their superhuman strength.
"Buergggh," Lane vomited blood when Kelly threw his strongest punch to him. But no, he didn't stop. He kept punching him and Lane was vomiting almost like a fountain. No one cared, even the trainers didn't give a shit about him. It was very cruel, and yet, Lane was powerless to resist it.
"Get, uhuk, off me," Lane coughed more blood as Lane kept punching him in the guts. He couldn't move, Kelly was far stronger than him. He was a superhuman after all. Lane couldn't do anything. He was just suffering while vomiting blood on the ground and being punched multiple times by Kelly. It made him wondered why he hadn't run out of blood yet.
It turned out that Julia was using a healing spell on him all the time. In short, he couldn't die as long as Julia gave that healing spell, but he still could feel the pain that was burning on his intestines. That might be the main reason why the trainers were ignoring that. They thought it was a training for Julia in healing and Lane volunteered to be a test subject. Of course, the trainers agreed since there wasn't any use for Lane besides of being a punching bag.
Lane was frustrated, he wanted to get out, but he couldn't. It was simply because of the fact that he couldn't return to his old world. The priest and the king had said that no one could return to the Earth before the demon king was beaten.
As Lane continued vomiting blood, he began to lose his consciousness. Slowly, his vision became blurry and his ears started ringing very loudly. He fell unconscious after that.

"Where am I?" Lane asked. He was moved to a very bright room. He took his time to look around. He wanted to know where he was. After further gazing, he knew that he was in the medical room in the palace.
It looked like someone brought him to that medical bay since Lane was vomiting too much blood. He could easily prove it by looking at his white training shirt that had turned red.
He heard the sound of water being poured into a glass. It was coming from the left side of his ears. He took a peek to the left direction and he saw someone with a white coat was pouring water into a glass. From the looks of it, he was a doctor.
"How do you feel?" The doctor offered him a drink.
"Better, thanks doc," Lane said.
He sighed, "Why don't you fight back?"
"I can't, I'm too weak," Lane said.
"Then why are you too weak?" The doctor asked.
"I'm just a regular human from earth. How am I supposed to fight a superhuman that could lift tonnes of weight easily?" Lane said.
"Oh, never know someone could be brought to Terra without having stats before," the doctor said as he sat down on the chair beside him.
"What do you know about this world? What kind of world is this? Why am I here? I'm just a regular student who doesn't know anything," Lane said to the doctor.
"This world is called Terra, This is just an ordinary world. I don't know either why you were summoned here," the doctor said as he checked on Lane's wound that had healed up faster thanks to the healing spell that the doctor used.
"I see. Well, is there any way I can return back to Earth?" Lane asked him.
"For that case, you have to ask the God himself because no one had any idea how," the doctor said.
"Oh, I see, well, I don't know what's happening to be honest. I just want to go home," Lane said.
"Well, just rest here for now. You're too fragile to move around and too delicate to be given any special treatment," the doctor said as he left the room and leaving Lane in his sickbed.

Lane had moved to his personal room. He was laying down on the bed while thinking about his life decisions. He didn't know why or how did he get involved in all of those things that the Falen kingdom was planning.
He felt very desperate, he had taken every bit of advice that the trainers gave to him, but he felt that those pieces of advice weren't working. He just stuck there as a punching bag between the other students. Besides being punched, he didn't have any idea what his function was in Terra.
All of those things that had gone through him were caused by the fact he hadn't any status screen, if he somehow could fix that, the problem would just disappear. He hoped that someone found a solution to his problem quickly.
He sighed, 'What is the option that I have?' he looked at the ceiling of the room. He felt that the world was against him in every direction.
Suddenly, he heard a door knock from the door of his own room. A person opened that door. It was the king and one of his advisors. He might come to offer a solution for him.
"Lane?" The advisor of the king said.
"Yes?" Lane asked.
"We have discovered a cure for your non-existent status window. In fact, we've found an ancient book that told us how to fix that," the king said and Lane turned ecstatic immediately. He was interested in whatever the king had in mind.
Lane listened to every bit of words that the king had to say, "We found that there's a cure located in the Buer Mystical Forest."
"Yay, I can have power," Lane was jumping around ecstatically. The king and his advisor knew that it would be his reaction.
"Not so fast, Buer Mystical Forest is a very dangerous place. We decided that we will send our knights and some of your friends as an escort. Are you ok with that?" The king asked.
"I'm fine with that. So... Am I suppose to follow them?" Lane asked.
"Yes, I'm afraid you should," The king said.
"Are you sure I won't be dead weight?" Lane said.
"Don't worry, we will take care of you," the king said.
"Thanks."
