Lane immediately inspected the surrounding. It was very goddamn dark. It was so dark that Lane couldn't see anything with the exception of the yellowish color from the glowing pond that mysteriously healed his wound. He was in a cave apparently, a very dark cave. A cave which no human had ever stepped their foot on.
"Buer, can you fix my stats or something?" Lane asked.
"Sorry lane, but I'm afraid that I can't, that's out of my league unless you find my body at the bottom of this dungeon. I'm as good as a voice inside your head," Buyer said inside of his head.
"Well, you're the demon king of knowledge, you must know one thing or two about a status window," Lane said.
"Well, yes, but you're not from this world aren't you? It's expected that you don't have any status window," Buer said as Lane walked away from that healing pond. He felt heavy to leave that pond, but he couldn't do anything except for leaving it there since he needed to continue walking to the bottom of the dungeon.
Lane was like a blind man in that cave. Buer didn't give him any direction on how to make some lights inside that cavern and Lane didn't have any torches on his hand either since all of his luggage was above his head.
"Buer?"
"Yes?" Buer replied from the inside of Lane's head.
"Is there any exit on this dungeon?" Lane asked.
"Yes, the 100th floor has an exit. Besides, you will either die here or get out of here. The choice is easy as hell," Buyer said and Lane sighed at that demon's useless advice.
Lane continued walking on that dark dungeon, looking for the exit and a source of light. He couldn't make a torch on that dungeon since there wasn't any combustible stuff inside a cave beside his own clothing, but Lane didn't want to burn his only clothes either.
Walking in the darkness was torture, but so did burning his only clothes while being stuck in a dark dungeon with its owner. Lance was stuck with a sword and nothing more. And not stopping there, he didn't have any status that would make him be a standard human in that world.
"Zombie is approaching!" Buyer shouted inside his head.
"Wot??" Lane said in that darkness as one single zombie suddenly appeared in front of him. It was a person that had turned rotten, smell like a rotten rat, and very hostile.
Lane pulled his sword from the sheath and readied it with one of his hands. He immediately slashed his sword at that zombie direction. It slashed the zombie's head like a hot knife through butter. It was very easy to kill, in fact, easier than he thought.
"Wow, that was easy!" Lane said as he looked at the corpse of that zombie.
"Well done kid, well it looks like your system has an error or something. I can see your status very clear now," Buer said.
"Really? How can I open it?" Lane asked that demon of knowledge.
"Just say open, it's easy," Buer said as he did a favor by opening Lane's status window.

"To be honest. I think the main reason why your status screen is different because the way that it works is different. You see, the most common status is by training, you'll level up. It's easy and accumulative. But yours is the rarest status I've ever seen. It's so rare that it could be mistaken as no status, but the problem is that this status usually starts fairly weak," Buyer explained how Lane's status works. The bottom line was that instead of training, Lane must kill a creature to level up which was kind of convenient.
"I see," Lane said as he observed that status window.
The status window closed and Lane was immediately felt ecstatic once he discovered that he had a status window because now, he had the potential to grow stronger than his enemies. Buer also gave Lane further information.
"Why don't you try smithing? You can craft things and new stuff. Well, with my knowledge, you can craft almost everything," Buer said as he bestowed Lane with one of his trademarked skills as a demon lord. His unique skill was none other than [Crafting].
"What's this?" Lane asked Buyer as he got a new skill that was called [Crafting]
"It's simple really. Open your status screen!" Buer said as he did Lane another favor again by opening that status screen.

A bunch of recipes appeared once Lane opened the crafting window. In short, he could create many things from a sword to something that this world isn't supposed to have like guns. He also could craft furniture like chairs and walls.
"Ok, I can create walls, but how am I supposed to place walls?" Lane asked Buer.
"Well, for starter, you can store it inside the void inventory that could store a stack of your item," Buer said as he did another favor to open the void inventory.
In a matter of second Lane's hand was stuck inside something that was similar to a black hole that sucked his hand inside of it. Once he put his hand inside that black hole, it showed him a menu with a lot of boxes inside of it.
"Bruh, this is a cheat," Lane said as he looked at the item menu that resembled a storage menu at a certain game that he had played in the past. It contained forty slots for putting items. Not stopping there, ammunition and coins had different slots too. You could stack a lot of ammunition inside that inventory.
Not stopping there, there were other slots for his clothing and accessories that could boost his status. Clothing had four slots, with seven other slots for accessories. Those four slots for clothing were Head, Torso, Legs, and Feet.
"Buer, why did you give me all of this?" Lane asked that demon lord for his charity.
"I need you alive so you can retrieve my body duh," Buer said.
"You just said that you can't fix my status screen?" Lane said as he fiddled around with his status screen.
"I can't, but I can enhance a status screen like yours. See how many cheats I have given, that's my free enhancement," Buyer said as he disappeared as a voice from Lane's head. Lane wanted to thank the demon lord, but he had gone.
"Well, time to craft something from this remnant of a stinky zombie," Lane said as he gathered the torn clothing from that zombie and put it into his inventory space by throwing it into the black hole.
He immediately opened the crafting menu and made a new item that would help him very much in that dark dungeon. It was called a torch. A torch was a simple stick and clothes that could be burned to light up your surrounding. It was fairly easy.
Lane crafted a torch and put it on his left hand while he held the sword in his right hands. He continued traversing in the first floor of that dark dungeon while searching for monsters to kill that can boost his exp count.
It didn't take him too long until he found another zombie that could be killed very easily. He slashed it with his sword and boom, he immediately leveled up since it gave him twenty-five exp points. He immediately checked his status window to level up.

He assigned all of those five skill points to agility since he wanted to swing his sword faster than usual. It immediately took effect as he tried swinging his sword. The sword something felt more mobile, it was easy to move, but it was fairly heavy because he hadn't invented his points at strength yet.
'it looks like that stats are applicable to all class, it's just inefficient to distribute some stats to something that you won't use as far as this status window says,' Lane thought as he swung his swords multiple times to test his new power.
After he finished testing his newfound ability, he immediately walked again in that cave to find the nearest stairs that led him to the second floor of the dungeon.
