Han Zhuoli tightened his grip on the black rod and slammed it on the zombie, bashing its head on one strike. He immediately distanced himself not wanting to get any blood on his newly changed clothes.
The zombie vanished and ammo was in place of it.
Li bent down and picked the ammo with an annoyed expression. It was harder than guessing the lottery number when it came to knowing whether the zombie would vanish or not.
It all came down to luck at last.
He looked at the ammo with a raised eyebrow and took out his QSZ-92 from the duty belt. It couldn't be a coincidence that he received 5.8x21mm DAP which was exactly what he required.
He reloaded the empty gun and placed it back on his belt. The handgun only had fifteen rounds. He was simply asking for abuse when the gun had no silencer and also he had to save the bullets until he found another magazine.
He rotated his wrist and swung his hand turning around just in time to smash the zombie that was incredibly close to him
He picked the lollipop in a good mood. He could only tolerate all these terrible loopholes just because the author was providing him lollipops.
Li leaned against the door and thought about the fastest way to reach his brother's classroom. It would take him forever to reach there if he went on fighting with the zombies.
He had to get there fast and return back to the school. He didn't know how others were faring after he left. He could only hope that they were okay and waiting for him to come back.
His eyes ventured outside the window and he suddenly got an idea to reach his brother the fastest way without encountering any zombies.
He slowly walked toward the window and jumped out of it. He caught the pipe and clung onto it testing its durability. He nodded to himself and started scaling upwards with amazing agility.
"Waaaaaah" Li Chuan shrug off the hand from his shoulder and rocketed toward Feng Jing.
"What are you doing?" Feng Jing pinched the bridge of his nose and asked reluctantly.
"There's a-a g-ghost." Li Chuan hid behind his stoic class leader and peeked at the window.
Yan Linyuan snickered and hid his face in his hands when he got a cross look from the scared boy.
Feng Jing had enough of them. He didn't get this much tired even when he had to babysit his two nephews.
"There are no ghosts here, even if there are I'm sure you can't see them." Feng Jing countered.
"I'm not joking," Li Chuan said saddened that no one believed him. He jumped on the person nearest him after seeing that the hand was coming up again.
"You shouldn't run away from your elders" Li complained as he pushed himself inside the classroom in one swing. "And I'm no ghost."
Li Chuan relaxed when he saw that it was not a ghost but a living and breathing human.
"Li Chuan" Feng Jing called out with great forbearence.
"Yeah?" Li Chuan innocently asked back as he slackened his body relaxedly.
"When are you planning to get down from me!?" Feng Jing barked out as he pressed down the strong urge to strangle the boy in his back.
Li Chuan panicked when he sensed the murderous intention from his friend and fell on his butt in a hurry. "I'm off, I'm off. Don't kill me."
Feng Jing mumbled something inaudible and ignored Li Chuan.
"Brother Han, Why are you here?" Yan Linyuan took the initiative to ask when he saw that his friends were somewhat busy.
Li roamed his eyes around the classroom and tensed when he didn't see the familiar figures. He didn't answer him but asked "Where are others?"
"Yu Xingyun told us to wait for them in the class." Yan Linyuan honestly replied.
Li frowned in worry. He knew that they must have gone to get Qi Yi according to his instructions. It was too dangerous for them to be alone with a kid. He had to look for them fast.
"What are you here for? Brother Han?" Feng Jing repeated the question very curiously. Li Chuan also looked at Li with full attention.
"You don't know what's happening outside?" Li asked them helplessly already knowing the answer.
"What is happening outside?" Li Chuan asked in confusion. What could possibly happen for Li to go their classroom climbing on a pipeline.
Li Chuan wasn't the only one confused, the other two also stared at Li waiting for his reply.
"Look outside the window." Li gave them some space and slumped against the wall tiredly.
"Why are there so many cosplayers out there?" Li Chuan opened his mouth and stated what completely weirded him out.
"Is there a program organized by the school with a horror theme?" Li Chuan muttered with his eyes wide open.
"That's not possible." Feng Jing had a pale face looking outside the window. Countless possibilities passed through his head and he was shocked by his conclusion.
"How is it possible?" Feng Jing murmured not daring to say it out loud fearing that it would come true.
"They look like zombies." Yan Linyuan squinted his eyes and announced with a straight face.
"Don't talk nonsense" Li Chuan immediately rebuked in a high pitched voice.
"I'm afraid that he's saying the truth." Feng Jing honestly said after retracting his eyes no longer interested in looking at the appalling figures.
"Not you too" Li Chuan whispered in disbelief.
"We need to get out of here, right now" Li didn't let them have any more time to digest the newfound information and signalled them to follow him.
"I'm not going anywhere." Li Chuan face was white as a sheet and he backed away in alarm.
"Li Chuan, don't be a baby." Feng Jing frowned. "It isn't the time to act like this"
Yan Linyuan also tried to persuade him "We have to get out here sometime later anyway."
"No, No, No, I'm not getting out there to be killed" Li Chuan shook his head and refused to budge.
