Chapter 9 - Angels, Demons and Enoch

Emyrs had put something off for too long.

As he entered the castle he began his work.

"Interface, I need strong and capable subordinates. How should I go about that?"

[UI: Multiple options are available to you, Emyrs. Please specify parameters for your subordinates.]

[At least I have options] Emyrs thought.

"I need more guards who will able to protect the Lycans from low level beasts. I will need a general to coordinate them. I need an intelligent subordinate that can make medicine and tools with the resources of this world. I will also need a skilled butler."

[UI: No racial preference?]

"Racial preference? No."

[UI: Understood. Currently only three options are available to you.]

"What is the best option?

[UI: Two of the three options will achieve the set parameters. The use of [Higher Creation] to create new high level subordinates and accessing Assets in your menu should provide a butler meeting your requirements.]

"Is that really possible?" Emyrs wondered.

[Higher Creation] was used to create common items in the game.

High quality trade items like goblets, emblems, accessories and things like that.

Their purpose were to be gifts to other players as a sign of friendship or tribute to their fame.

[Can this really create living beings?]

Emyrs pictured the kind of subordinate he wanted.

"[Higher Creation]: Seraph Angel Lucien Gabriel."

[Creation of subordinate in process.]

[Please allow the User Interface to grant skills and abilities to the new creation. Yes/No?]

Emrys agreed. Trusting the his Interface with this, he began to do this process a three more times.

"The Princes of Abaddon pledge their undying fealty to the Eternal Lord Father. We greet the Lord and offer our lives to your cause. Please use us as tools with which you will sculpt the masterpiece that is your will. Lord Father, command us."

The two angels and demons spoke in unison as they knelt before Emyrs.

If their heads head not been bowed they would have noticed Emyrs' left eye twitch.

Emyrs had used Mind's eye to see the four new beings' stats.

The angels and demons each had a male and female, respectively. Emyrs had wanted the genders to balance out.

He also wanted all of them to bear the titles of Prince and not Princesses for the effect it would have on their enemies.

However their statuses were understandable but their stats were insane.

Emyrs resisted the urge to check his own stats and silently prayed to the overseer that his excessive evolutions had put him in a league of his own or his subordinates would defeat him should they rebel.

They had lower HP than him when he was reincarnated but their stats were higher for sure.

He even remembered his low intelligence and almost bit his own tongue in envy.

[What the hell did the Interface do?!]

"Arise, my creations," Emyrs tried to sound the part of a benevolent creator. "Let me look upon your faces and unfurl you wings so I may look upon them too."

A vampire incharge of angels and demons. This was a headache.

The game never had these two races. He had created them as temporary stand-ins just to get things going for the Lycans while he focused on growing his strength and level but these Princes were monsters in their own right.

They rose and the sound of wings being released sent a small gust of air throughout the foyer.

The celestials were gorgeous. They had eyes like amethysts with subtle tints of gold. Their faces looked as though they had been sculpted from divine marble yet they kept slender and fit physiques.

The angels had two pairs of stunningly white feathered wings each while the demons, who also had two sets of wings, were darker than onyx.

"You are perfection." Emyrs said, his tone full of earnest praise.

"Lucien, Firstborn, I charge you with the creation of a small army. Five hundred troops at most to guard the villages of the Lycan people. Head me and head me well. Low level warriors that only act as sentries. Anything new or strong will be left for me."

"I hear and obey!" Lucien spoke with a zealous fever and struck his chest in salute. He did not waste time and left to carry out his instructions.

"Thirdborn, Uriel, understand and research this world. Heal the sicknesses of the Lycans. Bring resources that will benefit me and my cause, the cause of House Baptiste. This is my word and thus it is my will."

"The Lord Father has spoken and so it shall be done." She saluted and flew to the laboratory with haste. She would not disappoint.

"My Lilith and Asura, with you I task the education and sophistication of the Lycans. They are currently a lower species and will need to be made into a race worthy of the gift I plan to give them. I wish to give them part of me. To grant them my blood. The gift of Vampirism."

"So it is, Lord Father." The two said in unison. Hiding their envy of the lower species who had received such divine favour.

When the last of the Princes left, Emyrs finally felt like he could breathe.

"And finally, to you my Interface. I feel you are more intelligent than you let on. You think and operate on your own, don't you?"

[UI: I do what is done for your benefit.]

"I understand that. I will stop fighting with you but there will be times I agrue to give you some common sense but for now, I wish to give you a name."

[UI: To name a voice in your head, Lord Emyrs...] The Interface actually teased Emyrs assuring Emyrs that it definitely did think have a deeper understanding than it let on.

"I will name you, Enoch for you dedication toward my growth and safety. Thank you."

[Enoch: ....]

[Enoch: ....thank you, master.]
