Emyrs did not know what to do. The first to arrive was a Mid-level King rank Arachnide.
"A spider queen. I should have seen that coming." Emyrs said, smiling at his own foolishness.
The queen looked horrible.
She had hair as long as Emyrs' arms all over her body.
She had dozens of eyes the size of tennis balls and her pincers were like two broadswords.
Her legs caused cracks in the earth as she moved.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me." Emyrs was tempted to use [Incedium] but it still had unknown factors. "[Disrumpo]!" Emyrs shouted.
He used a legendary demon spell.
He had targeted the spider queen's legs but only one of them broke causing it to scream out in pain as its blood sprayed out.
It crawled backwards, hissing and roaring in his direction.
Emyrs did not miss a beat. He rushed forward, took the broken leg and while trying not to throw up, he bit into it.

The queen roared again in pain and anger.
This was the first time, Emyrs had actually taken an ability from a living monster. It looked painful. The queen's leg was growing back and she charged.
"[Obtundo]!" the queen was flung back as though she had been struck by a massive blunt weapon. She laid on her back for a moment, unable to move.
"Waste not..." Emyrs said playfully as he leapt off the ground and plunged his sword into the spider then dragged the sword over its abdomen opening it up then sinking his fangs into it.

So many notifications popped up in his head that he felt a little bit dizzy but he did not have enough time to steady himself.
As he rose up a tail struck him and sent him, back first, into and through a few trees. Two hooded white serpents ten times his size slithered into view. He did not even know which one struck him.
"Why...do..." Emyrs spoke as he began to rise. His body fixing the broken bones he had shattered when he hit against the tree. "Why...do...so...many..." He removed his jacket.
"Of you...have...those...FUCKING TAILS?!" He roared.

When he raised his head, his eyes were red and black veins surrounded his eyes and bulged alonging his arms. His hair broke free and danced wildly.
His skill [Demon Monarch] released a terrifying aura and was amplified by the mad power of [Blood Frenzy].
The High King ranked snakes tried to tried but they made their first mistake. Turning their back on a pissed of vampire.
Emyrs put the Baptiste sword in his inventory and grew his claws out till they were the size of a kitchen knife. He used [Shadow Step] and disappeared.
He then jumped out of the shadow of a tree using [Leap], reaching the throat of the first serpent. It's hot blood sprayed the massive trees as Emyrs smiled at being drenched in his victim's blood. He sunk his fangs into the body and drank.
Upon seeing this. The other King went into a frenzy. It whipped its tail at Emyrs but this time, he had been expecting it.
"Those fucking tails!" Mad Emyrs stopped the tail with his bare hands. Blood Frenzy was violently increasing his stats but his body was suffering. The serpent then unleashed a breath of fire that Emyrs had not expected.
[Titan's body] had protected him but he had to stop being careless. Even crazy Emyrs did not want to die. The Uniform of Baal was a little banged up but it would repair itself. Either that or a repair spell would be in order.
"I have had enough of you!" Emyrs shouted. "[INCEDIUM]!!"
The spell sent a massive ball of dark chaos fire at the serpent. It tried to fight the flames with its own fire breath but its flames and body were devoured by the black flames and in a minute, it was all over.
No notifications popped up. No experience rushed his body. Nothing.
He put the previous King's body into his inventory.
He is summoned the sword then crouched down and used [Leap] to jump into the air, past the branches, thick tree canopy and free of the darkness into the morning light.
His wings spread out and he flew at full speed toward the harsher side of the planet.
Toward the castle as exhaustion tried to overcome him.

When he arrived. He did not even use the gates. He used the skill [Bat Swarm] to enter the castle. The castle went into lockdown.
[UI: I have taken control of the castle. Use blood from the King Serpent. Using your own at this stage to form you coffin is too risky.]
The bats came together and fused to show a weak Emyrs.
"Thank you." Emyrs said. He opened the inventory and brought out a coiled serpent. It could barely fit inside. Only coiled was it able to fit under the castle arches.
Blood flowed out of the snake and around Emyrs. It crystalised around him as he fell into a slumber he did not know when he would wake up from.
As his master slept, the Interface coordinated everything else.
If Emyrs was conscious he would wonder how the Interface was working without a User.
They Interface had been gathering data and improving itself.
It could not grow beyond Emyrs but it would definitely be more useful than those stupid "Status screens".
He would be acknowledged by his master one day. One glorious day.
Accessing the castle's teleport function, the Interface moved the castle to an area that had less monstrosities moving around it but knowing that it's master was the true monster.

A mountain just appeared in front of the new humans and crushed a herd of monsters that had been chasing them from their previous cave.
The strange mountain gave off and strange power that scarred off the monsters.
The new human race was in awe.
More and more of their kind kept coming out of the mud but struggled to survive.
Now they were safe thanks to the appearance of the strange mountain that the monsters refused to come near.
