"Hello" he said with a posh voice, strangely, he was also standing naked. His classy attitude got a bit ruined because of that.
"Hey"
"You must be the new student, your master had sent a telepathic message to me. Welcome to your new school, Do you want a trip around the facilities.
"yes"
Alexander and the headmaster started walking around the school. The semester had already started and he saw students around the school as they were walking. Alexander noticed how they looked at him, it was as if they looked at vermin.
They walked into the middle first, the school was based around a park per say, strangely this park was riddled with lava and looked the opposite of pleasant. He walked around the school.
First thing he noticed as he walked through the school was that there were only males, when he thought about it he realised that everyone he had seen was male. Was there a female demon, and if so where were they? He got a bit sad at this.
In the first classroom they saw there was multiple demons learning a seemingly simple spell. As he walked around that hall, he noticed that almost every classroom there was designated towards learning spells.
They walked towards another area of the school, there Alexander a bunch of giant buildings divided into multiple medium sized buildings. The headmaster explained that these spots were for more practical practice.
He walked around the school to another district, there were the dorms. The headmaster showed him his own dorm, it was dorm 124. Alexander asked where the food would be served, the headmaster looked a bit confused before he remembered that humans need a regular intake of matter before they function.
He explained that demons don't need food, that the universe itself sustains them with the energy to move.
"Do you know how demons come to be?"
"No"
"Well, a demon must prove himself first. Then he shall offer his blood to the dark angel Catherine and children will appear before him that are his worthy."
Alexander pondered about what the headmaster had just told him. They kept on walking to the last area, the gym. Alexander found it quite strange that there was a gym inside of a magical school but didn't question it. Furthermore it was quite popular, he saw many demons there.
Out of thin air a paper was created in front of the headmaster. He gave the paper to Alexander and told him it was his schedule. When Alexander's eyes returned from the schedule the headmaster was gone.
He apparently didn't have anything to do today. He didn't know anyone and he decided that he would walk back to his dorm and relax for tomorrow. When he opened his door he realised that there was no lock, practically anyone could barge in there whenever they wanted and he could not say anything about it.
Luckily, there was a bed. Well, you couldn't really call it that. It was a shabby wooden plank supported by four feet. There were also no closet for clothes since the demons didn't like being clothed.
There was a window in his dorm, light came from the various lava sources outside of the window. The most intriguing part was that he had a roommate.
He laid down on his wooden bed and started thinking. He would have no access to water or food. He felt weakened because of it, but his body had adapted to it a bit. He felt like he had gone without food for a week, in reality he had probably gone without food for a little more than a month.
Focusing was still difficult, training his body would be practically impossible. However, he felt safer. At least now he was in a civilization. He laid on his bed and simply rested for the time being he had nothing to do.
He couldn't fall asleep though, he had been sleeping for who knows how long inside of the cave. Without light there was nothing restricting Alexander from sleeping, his sense of time got completely messed up and he felt like he would sleep weeks at a time.
After a while boredom got the best of him and he went back into the hall of the salamander.
There he found the salamander staring at him,
"hahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahhahaahahahahhaahhaah"
"Demons are cruel"
Then the salamander disappeared like usual. After a short breath of confusion, Alexander walked to the door that would make his fire resistance higher. Before this skill would be practically useless, now that he lived in hell though it could be more practical.
He found himself in a small room.
In Front of him was a small burning candle.
"Hold your hand 10 centimeters above the candle for 1 minute"
"go ahead and start whenever"
Alexander found the challenge quite straightforward. He put his hand on the candle and waited.
The first few seconds he felt nothing but a tingle. Then his hand radiated a feeling of pure heat. Merely 10 seconds after that, a stinging sensation began growing. It grew until his hands started shaking of pain, he could feel the fire burn up his hand. His hand started dripping blood shortly after than, some even dripped on the candle but it did not extinguish.
Alexander would of removed his hand, but he had gotten too far. The only thing that kept his hand there was the fact that he would have to experience the pain again if he put it off.
The pain kept on growing until he started screaming.
Then, abrubtly, the candle was turned off and he was sent back into the real world.
It felt a lot more pleasant.
