Hyena felt like she's being ignored by the two who have been arguing with their nonsense. No wonder why they are brothers. She found them cute like those she have seen in some bromance movies. She shook her head to erase her thoughts, that these two were gays. She giggled and cleared her throat latterly. "Excuse me, but I have to go now." She excused. However, the two seems to heard her, not. "These two are in deep bromance. I'll just leave them to enjoy their moment. Hmm, cute." She joked around.
Hyena went down the stairs and searched for her best-friend. Her gaze stopped at their earlier table. There, she saw Nick and Monic dancing to a slow love song that has been playing. "Gross, it is too cheesy." She has no choice but to walk pass over them.
She grabbed a glass of wine from the club desk and wandered around the place. "This is a very huge place. Black and white appratus." She muttered, blankly. "Wait, did I say black and white?" She frowned. Hyena, again wandered around and found a room. It is the only room you can see when you enter the main door. "I just realized that this is the place where I brought that Dale last time. Gosh, this is his house." Like a crazy girl, she said those words without knowing she was already talking to herself, all loudly and all alone.
Her peripheral vision sighted a pool not too far from her position. Hyena walked towards it and complimented it. Beside the pool, there's a small garden where a swing was placed. She sat on the swing and swung around. "This place is quiet and comforting." Hye let out a deep sigh. "I can't believe these things are happening to my life, lately. It all started when I helped Dale." She paused and took a sip of her wine. "It feels like anything that might happen will keep on surprising me. What else would be surprising, anyway? That Lan and Dale are in a bromance, relationship?" She continued while laughing crazily in her words.
On the entrance to the pool, Hyena saw Dale with a girl of his age. The girl sure is beautiful and elegant, yet rough in action. "Eee, couples are surely gross." Hyena quietly said to herself. She saw the girl kissed Dale like she longed for him for a decade. "What a nice view. I know I am a single lady, but there is no need to slap it right on my face, y'know." Hyena irritatedly stood up and walked pass over them. "Excuse me sweet couples, but may I pass?" She excused herself gulping the wine in her glass. "Can't you see we're in deep ceremony?" The girl arrogantly snapped while rolling her eyes.
"Gosh the nerve. Before you boast yourself in front of me make sure you're in the right place. Can't you see that you are blocking my way? And for your information there is no other way for me to go through." Hyena nagged like an old hag scolding her children. "Ows, are you jealous of me?" The girl flipped her hair. "Jealous my foot. I just want to go through the way you are blocking not to go through jealousy, girl. Move, I have no time to babysit you." Hyena snapped giving Dale a deadly look. "Babe, she's bad. I don't like her." The girl childishly burried her head in Dale's chest. Hyena on the other hand, gave her a puking reaction. She sure is a waste of time. She walked pass through them, separating the lovers by forcefully bumping at them. "Weak, not a strong foundation." She said right after passed their way.
"Leila, can you get us a drink in the kitchen?" Dale asked to his girlfriend. "Sure babe." They have been together for almost four years. For almost six months of Leila's absence, he never had miss his girl. Not even once. He does not know why, but it is something that he considered as odd. Leila is an adventurer. She loves to travel around the world by herself. That is why, Dale was always left alone waiting for her to come back. Fortunately, his girl managed to attend his birthday party just to see him. Saying she missed him alot.
What more is that, Dale felt a bit of amazed of how Hyena act earlier when she argued with her girl. "She's an innocent, badass." He said. "Who babe?" Leila asked. Raising her right eyebrow, Leila handed him a glass of wine. "Nothing." He denied. "Are you talking about the girl I encountered?" Leila cuddled in his arms. "C'mon babe I am way much better than her. She's just a nothingness compared to my perfection." Dale can't deny to himself that his girlfriend has this side who loves to boast her achievements in life. However, she loved him so much that he never spoke against it. It will only hurt her feelings and her pride. "Yes you are. As always, you are perfect in your own ways." He coldly uttered. "I know right. Thank you, babe." Then, Leila gave him a kiss on his cheeks.
"Hyena, what's wrong? Are you alright?" Monic asked Hyena when she noticed her eyebrows we're meeting each other. "Yes, I am. But can we leave this party now? I really need to go home." She excused. Nick patted her head. "No, the party isn't over yet." "But I have to go. I still have something to finish for tomorrow's work." "Alright Hyena, I'll just ask Lan to drive you home." Nick decided and left them to ask Lan.
Hyena went home first, leaving Nick and Monic at the party. "Here we are Hyena. Thanks for joining us at my brother's party." Lan said assisting her to climb off the car. "No problem, Lan. Thank you for inviting me too." She then open the door of her house. However, before she entered her house, Lan took a hold of her hand. She looked at him curiously. "In behalf of my younger brother, I apologise. I know he did something wrong." He apologetically uttered. Again, Hyena flattered herself for this guy's kindness. "Don't worry about it Lan, it's alright. Please do greet Dale a Happy Birthday for me, for I was not able to greet him properly." Lan smiled at her and gave her a kiss on the cheeks. "Good night, Hyena." "Good night Lan take care on your way back."
