They all agreed to play the game Hyena suggested. Leila sat beside Hyena and elbowed her gently. Enough for Hyena to notice her. "What are you planning to do?" Leila asked curiously. "Hush, just play along, okay? This is for your own good." Hyena hushed her. Leila did not contradict Hyena's word and rather kept silent.
"All right I'm going to spin this now, guys." Hyena informed. The group of friends were sitting in, close to each other, forming a circle. Hyena was sitting on the left side of Lan while on her left side, there, Leila settled. Next to Leila was Nick. While, Monic sat beside her boyfriend, next to Dale.
Hyena spun the bottle and for a moment the peak of the bottle stopped, pointing towards Leila. A big smile of success drawn in Hyena's lips. In her great satisfaction, she shouted. "Yes!" The other peeps were curious except for Leila. "Never mind, guys. Leila it's your turn to confess now." She happily uttered. "Is this your plan? For me to speak out whatever I want to say to Dale in front of us all?" Leila whispered to her drawing her eyes into a line. "You're clever. You got it right. Now, do it." Hyena whispered back. "Hey you too, are you collaborating about something?" Monic snapped. Leila just shrugged for an answer.
Hyena thought of things going accordingly as she planned out. She just wished that anything will not go wrong until the end. She only hoped for the goodness of Leila and Dale's relationship. Even though she didn't like Leila at first, still they became good friends. She wanted her to be happy no matter what. That's a kind of friend she is.
"Leila, are you gonna speak or just gonna stare at Dale forever?" Nick uttered to Leila who has been staring at Dale for a while. "Say it." Dale said to Leila giving her a cold look. Hyena looked at Leila, nodding at her. "Go girl, you can do it." Hyena cheered her up.
Hyena heard Leila cleared her throat and let out a deep, yet calming sigh. "My confession is dedicated to my boyfriend, Dale." The others's facial expressions change into a surprising shock of reaction. Except for Dale. Although, that was actually an expectation, everyone had in mind. He was just sitting in his position as if he is meditating.
Small talk began after it. Hyena crossed her arms and spoke. "Alright guys let us her continue." She cut off. Leila started to speak again. "First of all I want to apologise to you, babe. Well... for leaving you without your knowing and reappeared again like nothing happened in your special day. I'm sorry." Leila blinked several times trying to hold back her tears. "You know that I love you so much, babe. But lately, we've been so distanced to each other. So much that I think I am at fault. I am the one be blamed, after all. Actually, I wanted to go with you to the forest earlier because I know that it was our place. Yet, my pride held me back." She continued. "But don't worry babe I will do anything to bring our relationship's status like how it used to." She swore, raising her right hand during, while speaking.
Hyena smiled, feeling relief cause Leila finally said what she wanted to confess. She's a bit surprised when Leila hugged her, thanking her warmly. "You're welcome. You can always count on me." Hyena said. "Okay guys, let's continue." Lan snapped. He grabbed the bottle and spun it around. Waiting for the bottle to stop spinning, Hyena stole a gaze from Dale. She saw nothing in his face but his gold gaze. Not even a little mark of emotion. Poker face. Defunct, cold blooded, inside gut guy as she described.
The bottle's peak pointed to Dale. "I have nothing to confess. I'm done with this." He stood up. Together with him, Hyena stood up too. "Where do you think you're going? You can't run away from this. I know you have something to confess I can see it in your eyes." Hyena nagged at him irritably. She walked towards him and slumped him down forcefully. "Hyena, take it easy. There's no need to force him if he does not want to." Leila said in an upset voice. "Yeah" The others uttered together.
Dale pulled himself together and fixed his sitting position. "I didn't know a stupid can be a psychic." He jerked smirking evily at Hyena. She was not able to throw words back at him. A reason for him to leave the place. He find it boring now. He had no idea Hyena planned all of it just to help his girl confess to him. Well, in fact he can handle it himself. "What a nosy freak." He uttered before leaving the place completely. He closed the door of the room as he entered and lay down the bed. "Sigh"
The group of friends felt responsible for how their friend, Dale acted. "I'm sorry Leila. I thought he would respond positively through this plan of mine. I just want to help you guys out." Hyena said emotionally in front of her friends. "It's okay Hyena. I appreciate your help and efforts. Excuse me." Leila responded giving her a sweet smile before leaving them. "Hush it now, dear. Just let them fix their own problem." Monic said. Monic went closer to her and hugged her, caressing her back. "Thanks."
"Okay guys, we're heading in first." Nick said. He held Monic by her waist and went inside the room next to Dale and Leila's room. "Where are you going to sleep, Lan? The couples already occupied the rooms. I thought all girls will stay in the same room and so the boys will. Yet it turned out wrong. Pretty wrong." Hyena said, complaining to Lan who's sitting next to her. "I've got an idea." Lan said as he stood up. "Where are you going? Don't leave me here, all alone. I am scared of being alone during night time." Lan laughed at her. "How old are you again?" He asked. "Twenty-four." She responded. "How childish." Lan said while patting her head. He then vanished in Dale and Leila's room.
"Sigh, I think I just made their situation worse. I can't imagine how nosy I am sometimes. Though, I only wanted to see them happy with each other like they used to. Well, that's base on Lan's story, they were so close with each other and likewise happy. Playing the matchmaker role, aren't we, huh?" Hyena let out a deep sigh of disappointment towards herself.
