Chapter 35 - 2.10

"Tell me the fucking code." Velika O'Sullivan said in a threatening tone.

"I love it when you swear." He laughed, "And what makes you believe I would tell you the right one?"

"If, I'm saying if, you still have any conscience left in your wicked heart," She paused, "You would tell me the right one."

Daniel Heinrich checked on Astoria Leontes again, she was holding her arms, like she was watching a drama, indeed it was a drama. She didn't give Dean O'Sullivan any order till now, he was curious that she would give any order at all because he knew, this was a trust test for Dean O'Sullivan. if he successfully fooled Romeo Leontes, he lived, if he failed, he died.

"I have reasons to believe your heart is more wicked than mine," Dean O'Sullivan was still laughing, "You told me you made a mistake before, and now, you made a mistake again, when can you grow up?"

"The code." Velika O'Sullivan put the knife against his throat even harder, he felt the cold blade began to cover by warm blood, and the pain was so real, he made up his mind.

"C2KZ46." Said him slowly, with a complicated smile on his exquisite face, Velika O'Sullivan didn't know whether she should believe him or not, as she couldn't tell from his facial expression that what he meant. However, at this very point, the only way she had is to believe him and press down the cipher, dilemma, she had to gamble. She had this feeling that this man she was threatening wasn't her husband anymore, their hearts used to be so close, now they were miles apart. This was the moment that she had to admit that he was long gone, even she didn't want to.

Daniel Heinrich glanced at Astoria Leontes, he saw she had a smile on as well, that smile was a mixture of satisfaction and complacent. Daniel Heinrich's heart dropped, her smile meant Dean O'Sullivan passed the trust test, then Daniel Heinrich could predict the results, simple as pie.

She entered the code and hesitated for seconds when she pressed confirm, but she did it anyhow, as what was said before, she wasn't given a choice. She looked straight into her husband's deep green eyes, trying to find out the pure and dignity parts left in this discrete Irish's heart, as what he had before. Deep down she forced herself to assume that Dean O'Sullivan didn't change over the years, she hoped he was still the kind-hearted young man she loved and cared about, even she was clearly aware that wasn't true. She couldn't ask him to stay the same as herself changed this much, they weren't the old O'Sullivans anymore, although she still had his last name, nothing stayed the same way. Would he give her the right code? She wasn't so sure anymore. Astoria Leontes might put pressure on him, it could be a die or live issue, she had to go with it, go with the pre-setting Astoria Leontes set before.

Boom. The loud sound broke the last hope left in her, she looked at Dean O'Sullivan desperately, at that moment she wanted to end his life but she couldn't do it, she knocked him out and left. Before she left, she looked at the camera with furious and hatred in her dark eyes. She pointed at the camera, and the sliced her finger across her neck.

That would be enough, enough drastic scenes for Romeo Leontes to draw the conclusion that she was loyal to him. And enough for her to believe, she still loved Dean O'Sullivan, but she wanted a divorce after this ended. She also had a good reason to believe, she could pass Astoria Leontes' trust test, so did Dean O'Sullivan.

"Shall we catch her?" Asked Daniel Heinrich.

"No, she has to be alive." Said Astoria Leontes, touched her lips gently, acted like she wasn't the one planned all the scenes, "Heinrich, I want you to take a team, pick up O'Sullivan and Lewis, time for taking next move."

"Yes, ma'am." He nodded.

He then went to Nicholas Watson, as Astoria Leontes' plan was going on and their plan A had failed, time to initiate the backup, before he underestimated Dean O'Sullivan and Astoria Leontes, he thought she would let everything go smooth, but it turned out to be she wanted it rough, he understood, the harder the more Romeo Leontes would believe.

"Did you get into their system?" He asked Nicholas Watson, who was busy working on his computer.

"Even better." Nicholas Watson rose one side of his lips, "I got their boss."

"You are good." Daniel Heinrich said with a nod, "Take that as a compliment."

"Thanks, mate." Nicholas Watson winked, "Alright, sent."

Meanwhile, at The Sinking Boat's major office, the President's computer suddenly blacked out and a video started playing, it was a soliloquy of Velika O'Sullivan.

"My name is Velika O'Sullivan, and I presume you've already heard of it many times. I was framed as an agent from a secret agency who assassinated Braddock. And, yes, just as you have in your mind, the agency was referred to as The Sinking Boat. I understand your confusion, and after today's explosion of your faculty, you'll find out that I turned out to be an operative of Companion, which I'm not, obviously. I'm here just to let you know, these are all setups, and I know a person who can run a company like this must be very wise, so, just beware, there was someone else behind, someone who is so powerful that you don't want to challenge, the third party with fame and reputation. Good day, monsieur"

Then the computer went back to normal, presenting the file of Velika O'Sullivan, the President of The Sinking Boat then closed the window, tapped on the table with his slim fingers, turned away, outside was the gloomy sky, decorated with several grey clouds, what a beautiful day.
