We wait in the forest, wandering around. Our rendezvous spot was this cave.
Half an hour passes, we start getting a bit nervous.
"T-they're strong, they'll be alright…"
A full hour passes… another hour… and another… it was sunset.
"Oi, I hear people here!" a strange voice came.
Clip clop clip clop. A group of three horses gathered in the clearing as we spy on them on the trees.
"Whew, they're not royal guards," Justin sighs in relief.
"Yeah…they're just villagers."
"Did you hear about the Royal guards again? This time they took two foreign girls I think."
"Sigh, this is why we have to disguise our girls as ugly…"
Kidnapping girls? I look over at the boys as they clench their teeth. Ryan, who can't hold in his fury immediately jumps down from the tree.
"Where are the girls?" he asks, livid, "Where are the girls?"
"Who are you?" the villager asks, suspicious.
Ryan heads to threaten the villagers with his sword, "Where are the-"
King holds him back as I step between them.
"Sorry for the ruckus. We are travelers and we believe that the girls you just mentioned are our companions. Would you please tell us where they are?"
"R-r-red eyes?" One of the men in the back shivers in fear.
The man in the front says to him, "Jason, they're probably not going to attack us. They're with normal people so it should be fine."
"R-right…"
"We'll lead you there. I'm Gavin and the ones behind me are Jason and Victor."
"Thank you," I responded gratefully.
We follow Gavin as he explains the situation.
"Ever since that guy named Dylan was crowned King, the Royal Guards were allowed to do whatever they want and take whatever they want because that King can do whatever he wants too."
"Yeah, and the Royal Guards would kidnap girls from our village every week! My daughter was taken!" Jason says angrily.
"Please, if you're going to save your friends, please save our girls too!"Gavin pleads.
So this is why they showed us the way without hesitation. They kowtow on the ground pleading.
Gavin speaks, "I'm the village head and I am the most powerful man in the village, but I'm no match for them."
"Very well," Justin says, promisingly.
We reach the base.
"Hey! What are these men doing here? Who let you come here?" the guards say.
"Let us in," I demand.
I look at them straight in the eye.
Then I turn to Gavin and the others, "Would you like to come along?"
"Yes please!" they gratefully accept.
The guards look at us in fear, but get over it quickly.
"His majesty, the King has ordered to kill all red eyes on the spot. I'll stall here, go get the others." he tells his mate.
"Okay."
The guard charges and I grab him by the neck squeezing tightly.
"What stall?"
His mate turns in horror as I squeeze the guards neck until he's unconscious. I toss him to Justin and start walking into the base. The remaining guard falls on his bottom and screams.
"AAAHH!!!"
"What's the matter?"a voice comes from above.
"Oh, are you the commander of this base?"
"Haha, who dares to call me? Of course I am."
I glare at him as he walks down the stairs with shivering girls in chains following him.
"How dare you cause ruckus in my base? Do you know who I am?"
He gives a hysterical laugh.
I fire back, "Who do you think you are, you slut, doing whatever you want?"
"You-" he fires icicles at me.
King blocks it for me.
"Heh, you red eyes are going to have to die anyways. I was going to give you a painless death… but you got me mad!"
He fires thousands of snow swords and needles, rampaging without a thought of strategy. Wow… what a blockhead. His brain really is for show…
"Justin!" I yell quickly.
"Right!" he yells back.
He puts up a big flame shield and melts all the ice.
"You messed with the wrong element, bro," Justin smirks.
The commander's face turns red with embarrassment, "Die!"
