I support all of them with my healing magic. The glowing, holy cathedral is stained in the blood shed by all the soldiers and my comrades. I support them as much as I can, but even for me, six people is a challenge. At the final moments, I had fallen to my knees.
A total of 30 minutes for us to wipe out the guards. I lie down on the ground, panting.
"F-finally!" Trisha lies down beside me.
We all pant, catching our breaths as if we ran 10 miles being chased by a demon.
I sit up and look around, "W-where is Dylan?"
"U-unfortunately, he escaped."
I grit my teeth. To use these guards as a buffer to stop us! The nerve!
"Well, then where are the girls?"
"We're here…" a small voice comes from the corner.
A crowd of girls appear from the door in the corner.
"Thank you so much!" the girls exclaim happily.
We meet the townspeople outside the cathedral. They thank us with faces filled with smiles and happiness. Yes, this is how the kingdom should be.
The elder comes over, "Lyon, you guys, how can I ever thank you enough! You guys save us!"
"It's fine, we didn't even get the money back anyways," Justin responds on behalf of the rest of us who were still catching our breath.
"No amount of money can buy our happiness. The girls were more prioritized than the money anyways," the elder says wisely.
Over the next couple days, weeks, and months, we established our amazing rebel army called the 'Black Cats'. We communicate through wind magic and attack at night. However, we've yet to execute Dylan. There are still places around the capital that are under their territory, not to mention, foreign countries.
"Aurora, what should we do about the Jupiter Empire in the East?"
"Place group A, G, and P to ambush."
King, Trisha, Ryan, Veronica, Justin and I are the leaders of the rebel group. We have over 100,000 members. Usually, King and I do the tactics and strategy, Veronica and Trisha take care of the medical units and Ryan and Justin train the Units.
King walks in the room, " Hey, Astraea. What's our next move?"
I stand up, "I want to wrap this up quickly. I think we should do a head on battle next. We already have many resources, but if this goes on, the other countries are going to take over."
"Okay, I'll check on Ryan and the rest."
I walk out of the rebel tent and wander around, trying to clear my mind.
"Sister, let's go play!" a group of children approach me with bright faces.
People in the rebellion don't seem to care that we are red eyes anymore, in fact, they feel sort of sorry for us to be experimented on by that evil scientist.
I smile at the children, "Okay, only for a little while though."
The children squeal happily and lead me away.
That night, the leaders meet, namely, King, Trisha, Ryan, Veronica, Justin and me.
I explain my train of thought to them, "... is what I think."
"I think it will work. We need to put in a couple of traps and tricks to lessen the casualties though," Veronica says thoughtfully.
"Okay, then we'll talk to everyone about it tomorrow," Ryan commands.
We all nod and head back to our designated tents. Unknowing of the horrible 'accident' the next morning.
