"Ravenclaw?!" Starpaw yowled. "Oh my StarClan! I am so, so, so sorry!" yelled Starpaw.
"Hahaha! Don't worry about it, little one," meowed Ravenclaw.
Starpaw hopped off of him, feeling really bad for almost clawing him in the eye.
"Anyways, what are you doing here?" asked Ravenclaw in a more authoritative, warrior voice.
"I was putting mouse bile on Goldendust's tail when Spottedleaf told me to wash my paws at a stream," replied Starpaw. "So here I am."
"She's right, you know. Mouse bile caused a lot of trouble many moons ago," meowed Ravenclaw.
All of a sudden, Starpaw realized that Ravenclaw knew a lot more than anybody else about the whole "Yellowfang Death."
"Hey, did you see Yellowfang actually die by Oakheart?" asked Starpaw.
For some random reason, Ravenclaw got really upset by her question, but he hid it really well.
"Stop it. You can't just bring up some cat's death like that. Some cats actually do miss her - they won't just let her death go like that," hissed Ravenclaw.
Starpaw was really surprised at Ravenclaw's reaction to the question.
"Anyways, don't come back without fresh kill. We need all the prey we can get," Ravenclaw commended.
'Jeez, what's his problem?' thought Starpaw.
Ravenclaw is really nice to everybody in the clan and even new cats. However, how he just reacted was like if someone is stopping him from catching his dream.
Bluepaw and Graypaw suddenly came out from thr shadows of the trees in the back.
"Hey, Starpaw. What made you come all the way out here?" meowed Bluepaw.
"Oh, Spottedleaf had me apply mouse bile to Goldendust's tail so I'm just washing my paws," replied Starpaw.
Bluepaw quickly meowed, "Oh, that mouse bile can be a big deal! I remeber when Smallear told me that many moons ago in the camp when they used the mouse bile - a few cats had a bad tongue for moons!"
"Why are you two here anyways?" reflected Starpaw.
"Everybody is at camp right now so we decided to go on extra patrols. We just happened to stumble upon here," replied Bluepaw.
Starpaw had noticed that a lot of cats had been at camp for a while now.
She was no dummy so Starpaw meowed, "It's a bit weird. Are they expected to get attacked right now or something?"
Graypaw was choosing to be silent so far, but he was thinking the same thing. "I can see why you're asking about how everybody is at camp, but who says we won't be attacked?"
"I guess you're right. RiverClan really wants Sunnyrocks lately," meowed Starpaw. Every word she had just said was true.
RiverClan did want Sunnyrocks as they have been fighting for that spot for many, many moons. However, RiverClan has wanted that spot more than ever recently. Of course, they had their own reasons.
"I heard that they were going strong back and camp so we have the whole afternoon out here. Graypaw and I were thinking about hunting for the rest of the day. Wanna join us Starpaw?" asked Bluepaw. "You bet!" spat Starpaw. After they went hunting for that whole afternoon, they brought back all the prey they catched. "Well done you three! You must have been busy. You can bring that back to the fresh kill and bring some back with you to your den. You three deserve a feast!" congratulated Rednose as he walked toward Firestar and they both went inside his den to talk. "Here comes Darkstripe guys." Graypaw meowed quietly to Blueppaw and Starpaw. "I hope you aren't neglecting Goldendust with all this hunting, Starpaw." hissed the tom-cat. You would alawys see Darkstripe, Longtail, Sandpaw, and surprisingly Ravenclaw hang out together during the day. "Mhm, I've seen her getting really grumpy Starpaw." joked Sandpaw, "I've tended to her already this morning Darkstripe, and quite a long time. Too bad you were too distracted to notice. Goldendust is always grumpy Sandpaw, you stiff fur ball." hissed back Starpaw. "Alright then that's all I needed to know." hissed Darkstripe as he and Sandpaw started to trot back to their duties. "Hey guess what. Our friend Graypaw here manage to squeeze a compliment out of Ravenclaw here!" meowed Bluepaw. "Isn't he always giving compliments since he's so nice?" asked Starpaw. "No, he isn't mean nor is he nice. He's just welcoming, you can't manage to get that guy to say a compliment when it comes to training. He is very strict, but that's what makes him a good mentor so I don't mind. Plus, he is very helpful around camp so no one else mind either. It's kinda easy to forget that he isn't "nice nice" since he isn't mean at all." replied Graypaw. "Anyways, what was your compliment Graypaw?" mewed cheerfully from Starpaw as she was listening to Graypaw's every word, but wanted him in the spotlight longer. "It isn't a big deal. I just managed to catch a crow.." meowed Graypaw as he was very kind. "Woah, how did you even manage that?! Crows can fly and they aren't as huge as owls so they can be really hard to catch." meowed Starpaw. Bluepaw was tied of hiding around the bush. She yowled, "Well tell us more Graypaw!" Graypaw started to become shy as Bluepaw meowed that. "It was an old one." meowed Graypaw. "Yet it was huge! Plus, Ravenclaw as been acting weird ever since Firestar took you in as his apprentice. Well not even that, well he didn't become deputy that was the one that made him seem sooo weird." laughed Bluepaw. Suddenly, Graypaw became nervous after Bluepaw kinda said that loudly. Out of the ordinary, Graypaw hissed quietly, "Zip it. If Ravenclaw hears you say that we are all going to be dead meat. " Bluepaw took a good look at Graypaw and meowed, "Come on, lighten up a bit! It's just a joke I'll tell him myself." "No. He is just worried about ShadowClan and that's all." Graypaw meowed, his voice was very firm. His dark black eyes set a gaze on both Bluepaw and Starpaw. But then, the thing that none of the three apprentices needed was yowled across the whole clan..
